In a new wave of TV ad attacks Hillary Clinton’s Super Pac focuses on Donald Trump’s mocking of a disabled reporter. This one will run in Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Nevada, Iowa, New Hampshire and Colorado. Before the GOP convention in Cleveland starts in six weeks, Priorities USA says will have spent $26 million on ads attacking Trump’s character.
Take that, Harry and Louise.
Elizabeth Warren appears ready to reclaim her title, and perhaps take on quite a bit more.
For a year Bernie Sanders has been the nation’s most talked-about leftist, inheriting a constituency that would have largely followed Warren had she run for the nomination.
With Sanders winding down Warren is set to soon re-emerge, with a formal endorsement of Hillary Clinton. And in a buzz booster likely to keep her in the news Warren associates are fanning VP speculation:
REUTERS: “Advisers to Warren … have been in close contact with Clinton’s campaign team and the conversations have increased in frequency in recent weeks, sources said. Warren has signaled to people close to her that she is intrigued by the possibility of being Clinton’s No. 2.”
Rebellious Renee and Oldseahag toasting Hillary and shattering glass in honor of this historic day. Hillary is the first woman presidential nominee to lead a major party in our nation’s 228 years.
All credit to the Democratic Party for another milestone, the nation’s first major party female nominee just after nominating and twice electing our first black president.
No matter one’s view of their politics or policy, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have earned their place in history. After all it wasn’t so long ago their ancestors could not even vote.
