Trump Flubs

When Donald Trump loses this election he vowed in Wednesday’s debate he might not accept defeat on Nov. 8.

“I’ll look at it at the time,” Trump said.

Trump was responding to moderator Chris Wallace’s specific questions about whether he would honor the American tradition of the presidential loser conceding to the president-elect.

When Wallace pressed him again, Trump responded again that he’d “keep you in suspense.”

HRC’s response:

“That’s horrifying. You know, every time Donald thinks things are not going in his direction, he claims whatever it is, is rigged against him. The FBI conducted a year-long investigation into my e-mails. They concluded there was no case; he said the FBI was rigged. He lost the Iowa caucus. He lost the Wisconsin primary. He said the Republican primary was rigged against him. Then Trump University gets sued for fraud and racketeering; he claims the court system and the federal judge is rigged against him. There was even a time when he didn’t get an Emmy for his TV program three years in a row and he started tweeting that the Emmys were rigged against him. This is a mindset. This is how Donald thinks. And it’s funny, but it’s also really troubling. That is not the way our democracy works. We’ve been around for 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections. We’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them. And that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election. You know, President Obama said the other day when you’re whining before the game is even finished. It just shows you’re not up to doing the job. And let’s — you know, let’s be clear about what he is saying and what that means. He is denigrating — he’s talking down our democracy. And I, for one, am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position.”

Shocking,  keep us in suspense,  wtf? Then looked into the camera and said, “such a nasty woman”.. Damn the guy even told us he never apologized to his wife over the woman..

Nicolle Wallace said it well – He laid in his own coffin and hammered in his own nails.  She crossed into the land of the sane.  Ryan, McConnell,  McCain are in a padded room tomorrow. .. brilliant.

And Jeff Flake called his not saying he’d accept the results as “beyond the pale.”  Gotta be his worst moment of many this evening.

I’ll give her an A+. I’ll give him a F. That is 2 As and an A+ for her and 2 Ds and an F for him. He gets 2 Ds simply for showing up after his first disastrous ‘debate’ showing.

Clinton absolutely incinerated trump on the topic of tsar putin.

Chris Cillizza calls it.  Winners start with Hillary.   Losers… Losers * Donald Trump: Top to bottom, this was Trump’s most consistent and best debate. But, it wasn’t a good debate for him. Not at all. His signature moment — and the defining moment of the entire debate — came when he refused to say he would concede if the election results showed he had lost. Trump’s I’ll-just-wait-and-see answer was a total disaster and will be the only thing people are talking about coming out of the debate. Trump’s first 30 minutes were actually quite good.  But, as has so often been the case in this campaign, Trump simply couldn’t stick to his plan. As the debate wore on, he became more and more short-tempered and curt; it culminated with his sarcastic praise for Clinton regarding ISIS and his “such a nasty woman” interruption. Trump’s task in this debate — to fundamentally re-jigger… Read more »

Craig sounds great, Mrs Jack has a friend  who lives outside of DC, if she has a spare room and we can find an airline seat, we are talking about coming.

BTW, her friend is a 30 something Republican woman who is so offended by Trump that she feels it is her duty to vote for Clinton.

Trump probably had his best debate tonight but Clinton gave a masterful performance. Trump never had a chance. Early on she took the fight to him and had him against the ropes Then she  looked at te camera and delivered this one   For the rest of the debate Trump was a  dead man walking.   “Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger,” Clinton said, in a lower pitch than she usually uses to pursue her case. “He goes after their dignity, their self-worth, and I don’t think there is a woman anywhere that doesn’t know what that feels like. So we now know what Donald thinks and what he says and how he acts toward women. That’s who Donald is. I think it’s really up to all of us to demonstrate who we are and who our country is and to stand up and be very clear about what… Read more »

TM Report from AZ:  I didn’t think it possible that AZ would go blue.  But, Trump managed to turn everything upside down last night here in the desert. Clinton will probably win AZ now as only the true believers are left in the Trump camp. Trump might have helped John McCain lose his Senate seat, too.  With almost three weeks left, it is too early to predict his defeat to Anne Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick might be the beneficiary of a skirt-tail victory. The most recent poll shows her down by double digits. After last night, we’ll see if the Senate race tightens. Only one congressional seat is really in play, the 1st, where Sheriff Babeu is in a tight race. Last night may have caused his defeat, too. See you online.

I know I shouldn’t be…  but I was surprised by how stupid Trump was last night.  He not only acted like he wanted to lose this election…  but have the entire Republican Party divorce him…  finally.

It’s one fine day to be a Hillary supporter!

jack, thanks for posting  “Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger,” Clinton said, in a lower pitch than she usually uses to pursue her case. “He goes after their dignity, their self-worth, and I don’t think there is a woman anywhere that doesn’t know what that feels like.

not only did she look directly in the camera as you said and say the above in a lower pitch, there seemed a subdued sob or personal poignancy about it…. a remembering of all the times her self-worth has been impugned.

Sometimes a hard ass business deal approach does not impress, especially if you are running for a place in a non-profit type organization like the United States.  The man is not as much intelligent as a blowhard idiot.  I still want to see his tax returns, those must have some fantastic accounting principles used. A few might even be considered legitimate.

I want to see him lead off in a perp walk for fraud against the world.

And I believe the 17 agencies stating it is the Russians (formerly Soviet) FSB SVR and Russian freelancers out to screw things up.

There is nothing Trump can do when he loses  he is too cheap to take a fight to the finish

Trump TV now that’s the biggest loser. Will The Condom be in charge of women’s programming.

I imagine this is a fool’s gold version of The Blaze – which was/is total drivel – who wants to spend a day inside Glen Beck’s brain let alone Donald Trump

Gee Bannon and Bossee defeated again and I can see where the Clinton accusers want another day in court or whatever but really ladies you all have had your story told more than once.
And you let Donald Trump use you.

Dems need to beef up in Might Mo. Claire McCaskell (and Jack) need to get those Dems to the polls

Even on a weekday with nothing special happening in town, D.C. hotels charge just as much for a night as hotels in Maui do.  Now let something happen like a presidential inauguration (let alone an historic one) and those hotels think “gee…  if pharmaceutical companies can gouge people…  well, so can’t we”.

We’ll be partying here…  thank you for the offer though, Craig.

If you go out 15- 20 miles the rates are normal, Mrs jack just booked a Red Roof inn for $70. We will rent a car for the suburban stuff and come in on the Metro for the day of the inauguration. She could have also used her Hilton rewards but we are saving them for someplace warm and fun. As it is just a place to sleep a Red Roof works.

So right now it looks like we will be in town for the event.

Ezra Klein makes a good point. Hillary Clinton’s 3 debate performances left the Trump campaign in ruins Donald Trump didn’t just destroy himself. Hillary Clinton destroyed him. Donald Trump didn’t just destroy himself. Hillary Clinton destroyed him.t is easy, now, to assume her victory was assured, to read Trump’s collapse as inevitable. But remember that he triumphed over a talented, 17-person Republican field in debate after debate to win the primary — one-on-one contests are unique, it’s true, but there was no particular reason to think Trump couldn’t use his bullying, blustering showmanship to take over the stage and expose Clinton as inauthentic and out of touch. The reason he didn’t is because she never let him.We aren’t used to this kind of victory. We aren’t used to candidates winning not so much because of how they performed but because of how they pushed their opponent into performing. But the… Read more »
