Two great choices to kick off the month of May.  Jack has me avocado & salsa shopping.

Today I’ll focus on el segundo de Maya (at least that’s how I refer to this date – apologies to all my Spanish speaking friends if I’ve Spanglished this).

Jack – Great choice!   It washed the Republican on the local show whining about what a “pedestrian” speech Biden made on Wednesday, and, how “boring” was his presentation.   Ha!  Republicans are worried at his popularity with all but the most racist/authoritarian Republicans.  POTUS Joe is the GOAT!

An invasive species is coming to Texas. They feed on money and destroy democracy.

“Former Vice President Mike Pence and several other potential 2024 presidential candidates are descending upon Texas next week to thank donors to the 2020 campaign here and to help raise money to flip the U.S House next year.“

“The group includes Pence, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, U.S. Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina and U.S. Sen. Rick Scott of Florida.“

Expect Tim Scott or Nikki Hayley to be on the bottom of ticket.

Once again a meeting with one of the far right ended poorly.  He is staunch in his support of fantasies while defending nonexistent reports of the US southern border being overrun by people/children.  Sigh.

Typical el segundo de Maya. Grocery shopping, drywall repair, pot some plants for Mrs. P’s front porch, repair the rear steps, and grill lamb on on the barbie. Listen to some rock ‘n roll and now climb into the comfort of my recliner with a glass of wine. Oh, and it was a sunny 80 degrees here today.
