  1. I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.

  2. Dearest Craig

Deepest sympathy for your loss.  He was a gentle loving dad and you are the best of sons.

  3. Craig…  so glad he passed peacefully.  My deepest condolences.

    ps…  now he’s back with your mother…

  4. Many thanks to all. We left nothing unsaid or undone, so I’m not terribly sad (yet), his was indeed a life well and long lived, no complaints.

Now let’s get back to the trail.

  5. last night, john oliver on the vaxers & non-vaxers

John Oliver explains why some people don’t want to get the Covid-19 vaccine and how they might be reassured. (Even you, Mike in Baltimore.)

  6. Sign things are returning to normal.
The Post Office is delivering Amazon packages and on Sunday too.

  7. Poobah, having seen how your relationship with your dad went, I think  “So Long, Bill”  is just the right sentiment.
