Imagine being a grown-up human having a beef with the word “woke”.

I don’t know how the price of fuel figures into the price of transportation and food production and finally into the price of food in the grocery store. I do know that the price of diesel is $1.00 more than regular gas and is about $1.00 less than it was one year ago. I haven’t seen that reduction in the grocery store. I can only surmise than food prices lag behind fuel prices, which makes sense, but that doesn’t take weather, feed, fertilizer… into account. Apparently when it’s cheaper to drive to the store but it’s expensive once you get there the price at the pump isn’t enough to make voters appreciative of the gas price reduction when they get through the checkout line and they blame the President for that.

It is getting worrisome that Bill Maher might be right in calling him “Ruth Bader Biden”…

Axios: Biden’s age denialism sparks internal tension, aides say

“President Biden’s reluctance to acknowledge his physical limitations at age 81 is causing some tension on his team, as senior aides and First Lady Jill Biden push him to rest more and be vigilant about his health going into 2024. Some current and former aides believe Biden doesn’t realize how old he can come across.”

I know Christmas is the usual time for prime rib sales, but I just got a rib roast from Safeway for just $4.17 per pound! I cut it up into 10 boneless Ribeye steaks for freezing that amount to $6.56 each! They would be more than twice that if bought separately. Plus plump beef ribs for barbecue.

Never fear, Conan O’Brien has a very special guest on his podcast, which you can watch (yes, podcasts aren’t just for your ears) on tomorrow’s episode of “Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend.”  Yes, it’s POTUS Joe!

While I agree that the ageist swipes at Biden could be troublesome when comes to younger voters, it seems to be the only thing late night comics can come up with to say.
The comments about being a grifter, rapist, fascist, narcissist, liar, treasonous, thief, and Russian asset, those terms all apply to tRUMPsky.

Oooo, but Biden is three years older than Orange Adolf.  And????

ps – If younger voters care about reproductive freedom (abortion, mifepristone…and birth control pills ARE up next), and not getting blown to smithereens by an AR, and having a booming job market, and ACA (troubled as it is, beats not having any health insurance), and perhaps seeing their lifelong friends get deported, and just living in a Democracy at all, they will turn out for Biden.

Biden/Harris 2024!

As when Hillary was running, the media wants the conflict, dollars, and eyeballs more than they want truth or ethics.  It cost us what could have been the first woman President.  Now it could put Trump back in office.

“In most situations, comparing a political opponent to Adolf Hitler might seem like an extraordinary step. For Joe Biden’s campaign, it has become part of the routine of running against Donald Trump.”

Ted Cruz says liberal women are unhappy and pissed off all the time because liberal men don’t satisfy them in bed.

“If you were a liberal woman and you had to sleep with those weenies, you’d be pissed off”

Because nothing turns the ladies on more than Ted Cruz.

Classic Trump goons. All they can do is insult the courts when they lose, but offer no serious legal arguments that make any sense

That Colorado ruling if it stands keeps him of the primary ballot.  The general election is another kettle of fish.

BTW, Bink autonomy could be anatomy and fit as well.

Their legal strategy is to circumvent the legal process by appealing to the mob. Mobs are to be feared because they’re mindless.

https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/19/us/brittany-watts-miscarriage-criminal-charge/index.html

“A woman who had a miscarriage is now charged with abusing a corpse as stricter abortion laws play out nationwide”

“Watts went to a hospital three times in four days due to vaginal bleeding, a report from the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office says.”

“Watts returned on September 20 expecting to be induced to deliver her preterm pregnancy, according to The Washington Post.”

“But for hours doctors and officials mulled the ethics of inducing labor for a woman who had been diagnosed with preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM), had no detectable amniotic fluid, was bleeding vaginally and had advanced cervical dilation, the Post reported. Watts eventually left.”

“Then on September 22, Watts returned to the hospital “for vaginal bleeding with retained placenta after a home delivery,” the coroner’s office report states. “According to medical records, Brittany Watts stated that at approximately 5:58am … she delivered the fetus into the toilet of her residence.”

An autopsy revealed the fetus’ cause of death was intrauterine fetal demise – meaning the fetus died inside the womb – due to severely low amniotic fluid from the premature rupture of membranes.

“… to naturally lose a fetus more than halfway through gestation – often known as stillbirth…About 21,000 stillbirths happen each year in the US – about 1 in 175 pregnancies…”

However, “(t)here is no law in Ohio that requires a mother suffering a miscarriage to bury or cremate those remains,” Watts’ attorney said.

“Women miscarry into toilets everyday,” Timko wrote in an email to CNN. “In fact, the Ohio Legislature has created broad immunity to women for acts or omissions during pregnancy and has admonished that women should ‘in no case’ be criminalized for the circumstances or outcomes of their pregnancies.”

“The prosecution of Ms. Watts is tragic and unjust,” she wrote. “We will continue to fight.”

“Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Rights slammed the criminal charge against Watts, saying it would deter other women who suffer miscarriages from seeking medical help.”

We would save ourselves all this trouble and corruption if the office of the president was limited to one six-year term. No second term, no reelection, no campaigning, no grift, no graft.

Orange Adolf was Commander In Chief, and in a final attempt to not be the loser that he is, attempted to change the outcome of the election by force; he called a crowd to DC, knew they were armed, directed them where to go, used inflammatory speech, and did nothing to stop the violence and the disruption of the count for hours.   If it walks like a chump and talks like a chump…

Spoken like someone who hasn’t been getting much lately. But you do have to admit that  Ted is an expert on the sufferings of weenies. In fact, he probably only has to defer to my Senator, Ole Running Josh. Run boy! Run!

I was back in the old neighborhood. I stopped to talk to our Church partners, they have taken over running the neighborhood group. It is a struggle for them, learning in a short time what Sherry and I learned over 20years. They had been calling me for advice. the last few months as their former President got overwhelmed and resigned. I wasn’t surprised.
There was still some money left from donations to McCo Friends Y Amigos from folks who donated to our cause, after Sherry’s memorial.
I turned it over to the church trusting that it will go to help folks in the neighborhood.

My problem with the Carol Silent Night is that through high school , every year, our mixed chorus performed for the community. It was a small school somewhere around 100 to 120 students. Not a lot to draw from and we had 20 to 25 in the chorus. We all stayed in tune, we were good and we actually won some competitions. We had a genius for a teacher.
our Christmas concert was the most important thing we did through the year. I was one of 5 boys who could sing the bass part. As a result it ruins most performances of Silent Night as I automatically start humming the bass part.
This one is different; it is a beautifully done example of the song. If this doesn’t get you in the Christmas spirit nothing will
