The last thing i said to Flatus, on here, and by which he was offended, to my regret, is that “we’re all just words on a screen, here”, but i didn’t mean it in a negative sense, it’s what i’ve always thought was the beauty of the format and of what this place was, is that it doesn’t matter how old one is, or what one looks like, or what one’s circumstances are, it’s the meeting of minds in open space, stark in black and white, souls mingling in the ether, sharing joy and fear, anger and love, inspiration and information, anxieties and encouragements… you get the idea.
If i have a way with words, it’s a terrible way, and for that i’ll be eternally sorry, it’s just that this thing in my head didn’t come with an instruction manual, and if it did, i lost it. Patsi once told me she didn’t believe in apologies, and frankly, neither do i, and if we’re both wrong, it’s too late for them anyway. Just know that i always read your posts, always paid attention, and never forget a thing, which is my punishment.
Thanks for tolerating me, i hope something i’ve said was of some value to someone at least once.
