Apples From Trees, The Kushner Files

NBC NEWS: Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and one of his senior advisers, has come under FBI scrutiny in the Russia investigation, multiple U.S. officials told NBC News. Investigators believe Kushner has significant information relevant to their inquiry. … The FBI’s scrutiny of Kushner places the bureau’s sprawling counterintelligence and criminal investigation not only on the doorstep of the White House, but the Trump family circle. The Washington Post first reported last week that a senior White House official close to Trump was a “person of interest,” but did not name the person.

**********

In the summer of 2004, Jared’s father Charles Kushner pleaded guilty to 18 counts of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering. The witness-tampering charge arose from Kushner’s act of retaliation against William Schulder, his sister Esther’s husband, who was cooperating with federal investigators; Kushner hired a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, arranged to record an encounter between the two, and had the tape sent to his sister. Kushner was sentenced to two years in prison and served 14 months at a Federal prison in Alabama. (Wikipedia)

The beleaguered tenants of Kushnerville

Jared Kushner, the President’s son-in-law, sues his Baltimore tenants for thousands of dollars in bogus debts, on which he also gets judgments allowing him to garnish their wages and drain their bank accounts.

Think it’s safe to say that as far as family goes it’s rotten to the core. There’s no need to worry about one bad apple spoiling the barrel.

the trump reality show continues…some of these episodes are pure ‘growing-up gotti.’   kushner can play the role of the ‘michael’ in ‘the godfather’ as his experience growing-up in a tri-state crime family qualifies him for the role.  Now he has global tentacles, the perfect match for ivanka, the princess of complicity.   Too bad the saudis and trudeau turn her head more than her hubby.  they are more powerful and in the case of trudeau, just spanking hot!

Just before the election, Kahlon described her former boss on Facebook thusly: “We’re talking about a guy who isn’t particularly bright or hard-working, doesn’t actually know anything, has bought his way into everything ever (with money he got from his criminal father), who is deeply insecure and obsessed with fame (you don’t buy the NYO, marry Ivanka Trump, or constantly talk about the phone calls you get from celebrities if it’s in your nature to ‘shun the spotlight’), and who is basically a shithead.”

This whole article is one big “OUCH!”  Meet the Real Jared Kushner

“Before we blame individuals, the charitable thing to do is to first find out what situations they were in that might have provoked this evil behavior. Why not assume that these are good apples in a bad barrel, rather than bad apples in a good barrel?”  [Zimbardo, quoted in article “Bad Apples & Bad Barrels”]

sadly, since the trumpence junta tookover the WH?  we are stuck in a crass and sleazy reality show.  the ‘Montenegro shove and push?’   pure trump pushing his way into the front over the tried and true republic.   Meanwhile, the global snuff flick on women continues.   I noticed the other day that trump finally called himself a politician, but his supporters will not care.  they enjoy the takedown and the fight as is their second amendment right.  It is all about violence, the snuffing of the feminine, the putdown of the anything not conservative.   Again, the supporters are a minority, but they do have a lot of testosterone and guns.  The aged supporters of trump can’t pee anymore, maybe that is why they are so pissed.

Corrupt Companies: Bad Apples or Bad Barrels?

According to Dukerich, the number-one cause of employee misconduct is feeling pressure to do “whatever it takes” to hit business targets. Other reported causes include:

Employees believing they will be rewarded for their results, regardless of the means
Believing the code of conduct is not taken seriously
Lack of familiarity with the standards that apply to their job
Lack of resources to get the job done without cutting corners
Fear of losing their job if they do not meet targets
Believing policies or procedures are easy to bypass or override
Seeking to bend the rules for personal gain

bw,  this pbs newshour segment last night re level of testosterone effects was enlightening on that subject of “snuffing feminism”

Published on May 25, 2017

The testosterone-endowed are at an advantage when risk-taking brings success. According to current research in both psychology and economics, physical attributes that correlate to higher levels of the hormone may suggest how likely someone is to be powerful. Economics correspondent Paul Solman explores what that means for the workplace and society.

meet the kushners.  Seems like a desire of the kushner and trump family is to be the ‘new kennedys!’   a fond remembrance of camelot and the early 1960’s.  The beloved kennedy family — a family with a tainted criminal past of bootlegging with Father Joe creating a sanitized future for family politics.   The optics seem to support this ascension of the current Occupy White House gang.

patd, in June, 2015, I wrote a one-act play, Men Are Built Cheap.  It was a fantasy-comedy about Mother Nature, climate change, hormones and artificial intelligence.   In my mangled mind, it sure seems fitting to modern events.  I even had the Pope in the play as one of the biggest supporters of Mother Nature.  I noticed the pontiff slipped trump a tome on climate change during the recent trip to the vatican.  BTW, the play was performed twice, locally.

bw, please, if it’s available, link that play to fearless leader to use for a trail thread.  would love to read it. are there any vids of the performances?

Blonde Wino

patd, I wrote a lot of the play based on google news headlines.  During 2015, a few articles detailed how the more estrogen in a society?  The more calm and civilized the society becomes.  Another article detailed how we may be a matriarchal society by 2100.   I also read about the testosterone imbalance in the ME, even posted the article here.  Just killing baby girls for centuries does have an effect and an affect.   I saw comedy in the headlines and I have always wanted to write comedy.   I was in a bad place at the time and clinging to comedy soothes me, got me through the night.

Update from work: That guy has not been fired. He is suspended right now. They haven’t decided yet if they are going to punish him any further. I don’t know whose car that bumper sticker belongs to. Just find it crazy how many people these days have to have gun-related bumper stickers on their cars. I saw a guy  recently who was driving a Japanese SUV. The stickers on the back of his suv said “American by birth, Gun owner by choice.” Another said, “Protected by Sig Sauer”. I thought to myself, “He is a proud American driving a Japanese SUV and protecting it with a German gun…..okay.” On another subject, a parody Trump account said last night that he really didn’t know who Jared Kushner was. Ivanka had only brought him over to the house once or twice.

Dershowitz on msnbc just now wants specificity about what people are being investigated, not just vague reputation destroying innuendo. I agree. How does an individual defend one’s self from rumored behavior?

Pogo

Flatus, I expect that the investigation has not gotten to the point that all the potential targets or people of interest have been identified.  I think it’s safe to say that Flynn, Manafort, probably Sessions, are being looked into by the Special Counsel or the two or four congressional committees looking into this since they all have known contacts with Russian guys during the elections process and in the case of Flynn and Sessions, did not properly reveal those contacts on their disclosure forms (with Flynn, it was his lie about who paid for his Russian speech that is probably the most troubling bit of activity for his lawyers), and it is becoming clearer that SEssions simply lied to Congress and DoJ about his contacts. Kushner is already lawyered up although what his ultimate involvement will turn out to be is not yet known, as is Trump – although I’m not sure why he would be – unless he knew about, approved or even directed the contacts.   If I were investigating I’d politely tell Dershowitz to fuck off (What’s he care anyway?  Looking for a high profile client perhaps?  And really, I like Alan) – that the people who are being investigated will be notified when notifying them is appropriate.

bw, thanks for the offer of the pdf; however, I see above where fearless leader says he’ll post it if you send him one…. that way we’ll all get a chance to see it.

speaking of comic relief in light of today’s politics, I loved the way Hillary started off today’s commencement address recalling sentiments of her own graduating class in 1969:

“We were furious about the past presidential election of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace with his impeachment for obstruction of justice, after firing the person running the investigation into him at the Department of Justice”

it got big laugh and applause from the wellesley crowd as did other humorous bits strewn throughout the speech.

Some day I will be released from the restraints of my life.

Not looking good for the floater and his minions (family).  Will the outsiders, Flynn and others, be givwn the opportunity to give their stories soon?  I think there is a lot going on.  Of interest to me is the background investigation – money laundering.  Election screwing is nothing when you start looking at money laundering.  Gotta wonder about drumpf tower and its inhabitants.  The floater playing in pee is one thing, money laundering on a country size scale is a very different scale.
