Big shocker of the night: FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver, a renowned and accurate election prognosticator, has suddenly shifted his prediction in Trump’s direction.

The media in their endless ratings game is beyond contempt and i will hold these so called liberal pundits responsible if the trump nightmare plays out.  i am furious- have switched from cnn to msnbc, hardly any better.  the bernie brats should have their diapers changed and be put to bed without their supper.  disgusted.  craig- you were the best there was , wish you’d get back to your craft.  the country needs you.  and personally i would like to see you be part of this historical moment, as you should be because despite your current mood, your past work helped to bring us here. and i thank you for that.   ps- hang in there kid, i know it sucks. with love, sea

    You cut through the crap coming from both sides & are greatly respected. I know you’ve had a long career; your insights have enlightened & educated a large swath of viewers. I first saw you on Countdown & was taken by your honesty: you are not a bought man. Your words carry that cachet of knowing what the heck you talk about. Why wait for one candidate or another to reach a certain level? Maybe your voice, calling out those rascals, could help influence them in a positive way, or at least be the kick in the butt voters need to vote the buzzards out. You have a true gift & Democracy needs you.

    Also the Hillary camp was slamming the RNC for a negative convention.  I fully disagreed as if you get past the context and really listen to content it was not negative as the majority of Americans agree,  the Trump Convention was positive.

    I am now getting depressed by the start of the DNC.  So SAD

  11. Luis Gutierrez,  Please go visit Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, 9-11 memorial and strawberry fields.  Read the words of the foundation and values of our Country.  Why not talk to those that had the power 4+ years ago and ask WHY?  Why did you not do something when you had power?

    I know who Senator Casey is. Still painful 🙂 Maybe he’s one of those guys who comes alive in the flesh. Then again, maybe not.

    Senator Gillibrand looks really washed out on front of the industrial oven background. Bet it doesn’t show any fingerprints though …

    An update today on the DNC email hack that, among other things, ended with the resignation of the DNC chairwoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz: FBI sources speaking on background say they think the hack may well be of Russian origin and may have been intended to help elect Donald Trump, who has spoken favorably about Russian President Vladimir Putin. Last month, security experts who studied the breach told several newspapers that it bore the hallmarks of Russian government hackers, based on the patterns of the intrusion and some of the data that the researchers discovered. The bureau also announced Monday that it will investigate the breach.

    I am a less government and a strong republic kinda guy.  I just wish Trump would have been not the gym rat guy at the start.  If you filter his context and get his content I see someone that will put Americans first.  I see Trump questioning why those in other countries do not want to make their country first.  Trump was asking why we send our young men to fight and die in foreign countries and their own young men run away.

    If Trump continues to grow up and gets past what Hillary is using now he will win.  Hillary cannot run past her dishonesty.  Her going to bed when those under her administration died.  Hillary is the establishment.  I do not think Hillary is evil,  I think she is just history that does not need to be repeated.

  29. I hope Donald Trump is watching Anastasia Somoza.  This is powerful and I believe if he sees this speech it will speak to him.  Sadly Hillary and the Establishment have had their chance. They did not make it happen.

    Anastasia did a great job.  That was very powerful.  If Trump overcomes his ignorant action and apologizes and owns it, grows from it he will win.

    I believe that the Donald will figure out the new world he is now in and will mature and grow. He needs to resolve his very inappropriate actions and comments early in the process.  They do not reflect what he truly does for Women in his business.

    We will see…

    Note to Steve Schmidt: No republican could give any of these speeches. Simply beyond their world view. They are too narrow, too fearful and too ugly.

  101. Bernie had a tough couple acts to follow, delivering a message his heart couldn’t be in to.  All considered I  give him good marks.

    Bernie’s hitting important marks.  I can’t hear the bots over the cheerst for ideas greater than Bernie.

    And Bernie, thank you for the SCOTUS point and the don’t sit it out message.  The 9% of your supporters who don’t and won’t hear you were only in it for themselves.   You were just an opportunity.

  117. Bernie did what he had to do to remain relevant going forward. He laid out the case for HRC point by point (think supreme court and healthcare) even the ‘Big Dwag’ seemed pleased.

    If Sanders supporters didn’t get the message they need to leave sooner rather than later, because they are no better than Trump supporters.

    The Dems. drew a line in the sand tonight. Impossible for rational people not to notice.
