 It was composed during the reign of Pope Urban VIII, probably during the 1630s, for the exclusive use of the Sistine Chapel during the Tenebrae services of Holy Week, and its mystique was increased by unwritten performance traditions and ornamentation. It is written for three choirs, two of five and four voices respectively, with a third choir singing plainsong responses, each singing alternately and joining to sing the ending in one of the most recognized and enduring examples of polyphony, in this case in a 9-part rendition.

    That is roughly 1 in 44 Americans.     Facing the Germans in World War II, Gen. George Patton ordered a chaplain to write an interfaith prayer for troops to say on the battlefield.

    It took just a week in September 2001 for Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld to change the name of the campaign against terrorism from Operation Infinite Justice to Operation Enduring Freedom — a switch meant to clarify that the U.S. was not in a religious war.

He has brought clergy from his small Christian denomination to preach at the Pentagon, including a prominent pastor who says women shouldn’t have the right to vote.

    And in recent weeks, the war with Muslim-majority Iran has only made Hegseth’s approach more stark.
    On Wednesday at the Pentagon, Hegseth prayed for U.S. troops to inflict “overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy … We ask these things with bold confidence in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ.” Later that day, his department announced military chaplains would no longer wear their rank on their uniform and instead would wear religious insignia.

    My reasoning above is sincere, but I also have to admit to another motivation for a positive outcome to this proposal. It is that it would allow a respected institution to point out how unacceptable are the actions of another despot, a great friend of Putin, in another part of the world, who has put himself on record as coveting the prize awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

    And then muzzling of the media, most of the folks who call themselves journalists aren’t…they’re political activists in which case Trump revoking press passes, calling them the enemy of the people (they are), and restricting access of the political activists isn’t a bad thing it’s for the safety of the country. If you think men can give birth, you’re not a reporter, you’re a political activists, which is fine by don’t expect to be treated as nonpartisan press.

    If one has a certain set of values and beliefs, they should be fairly consistent, but if it changes based on the individual scenario then you don’t really have those beliefs.

    First thing I saw on trail mix video this morning was a woman talking about an accusation she made against Trump, but she has no proof. The general attitude was that Trump was a terrible guy for those actions.

    Talerico, Tim Wallz and many other Democrat political take biological males and put them into female prisons, and the female guards and other female inmates files complaints about it and claim to be sexually harassed and sexually assaulted. I brought up one individual that was planning on attacking and impregnating guards and other prisoners by saving it in his room. The Democratic Policy enables that type of behavior by introducing males to the female population.

    Is that action protecting the safety of dignity of women?

    No, it’s not protecting the safety or dignity of women. And while you can say to yourself “well I don’t support that type of abuse, they should find a better solution, maybe trans-individuals get their own prison.” And that would be a rational response, but simply saying it, and yet voting for the politicians that enable it, shows inconsistent values.
    If protecting women’s safety and dignity is important, how important is it?

    Also consider there’s going to be folks who take advantage of the system…
