  1. naww, it’s his “art of the deal” way of getting attention and negotiating.  think about it.  didn’t his little last minute tantrum put him at the top of news coverage making talking heads focus on him rather than covid dead or christmas or joe AND didn’t some acquiesce finally to his $2000 show of faux generosity?

that’s his way of doing business.  during the tik-tok kerfuffle, this was written by analyst tom fowdy:

…a very much textbook Trump “art of the deal” move, whereby he threatens to accumulate leverage over a particular target in the goal of pressuring them into handing him a zero-sum result in his own favor.

sameo -o same-o D’ump tactic.  threaten big, then mercifully spare the victim.  instead of paying full bills, he usually counter-sued saying he wouldn’t pay anything then settle for a pittance.

don’t be surprised come morning of jan 20th that he hovers over the nuke button threatening to blow up everything unless he gets full fed & state pardons for himself.

  2. It was a dark and stormy night
It was an odd afternoon and evening.  A room setup for a quick act by a fool.  And, the fool cost many people a week of unemployment, and for some, dropped from unemployment.  He sure showed America and the world what for, didn’t he?  What a waste of air.  I am surprised he didn’t clatter in wearing his golf shoes.

  3. I just read what was necessary to get SFB to sign the spending package.  It is disgusting that someone so far out of reality, and childlike, is still president.  The greedy old perverts and ‘vangicals are so to blame for the attack on America.  The guy should be in a playpen.  Hopefully he and his cult will stay in Florida and never return to the D.C. area.  Unless they are brought into the D.C., Maryland and Virginia legal system.

  4. I think Fowdy thinks much more about tRump’s reasons for doing anything than Dumbass does. It was simple – don’t sign and look like worse or sign and look marginally decent. It’s all appearances mind you – that’s all that counts at this point. And his line item veto with use of the rescission act will not pass constitutional muster. Does Miller or Meadows think no one has thought of that  before?

  5. He creates the crisis and then “fixes” it.  And he thinks that’s a “winner”?  He’s FIRED and a big loser!

  6. Make a America Great Again
He didn’t tell us the “great” was a plague .  And we would see the “greatest” food lines in American history.  Or the “Greatest Death Toll” in one year.
    What was “Great”?
600 of the richest Americans made a trillion dollars  since this bug came.
” Micheal, we’re bigger than US Steel”.

  7. Senior White House official to CNN: “What’s particularly hilarious is watching Trump quit on his coronavirus relief push while complaining about everyone quitting on his re-election. Why should any supporter fight for him when he quit on trying to get them more than a measly $600?”

  8. Biden vs  his left  , while the lunatic  limo  rolls on ……….. This is story line Tonight.
The American press corp needs  to press the GOP, about their total surrender  to magical thinking .
Everything they have told us for 40 years  is wrong .  Reagan’s  theory about wealth for all  is wrong ,  otherwise our health care systems would have had more muscle.  And the foodlines we are seeing would be shorter.

And on and on and on.
Their whole  shistick  for 40 years has been  cut taxes for the rich , and government doesn’t work , elect us , and we will prove it.

  9. I propose  a simple  campiange,    the words,  ……   BIGGEST  LOSER .
Trump doesn’t have blood  on his hands , he has phlegm on his hands . this what you hack up gasping for breath.  At first , but then  your hack  does not save you , and you still cannot breath.
This is a called a  “dry cough” .
It is not a pretty death.

  10. Surely National Park Service can justify denying Jan. 6 protest permit requests they’ve received from Proud Boys and other MAGA groups who have already caused violence and violated permit conditions in recent weeks. DC police deserve a break from this crap.

Republican-leaning pollster Rasmussen invoked a quote attributed to Soviet leader Joseph Stalin in a Twitter thread Sunday suggesting Vice President Pence could attempt to overturn the results of the presidential election.
“Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything. – Stalin,” the pollster tweeted, before going on to outline a scenario in which Pence refuses to certify the results in swing states.

At that moment, the Presidency will be in his hands.

  12. We can kiss the GOP  goodbye.
Whatever they are , they are not the Party of Lincoln anymore.  Their fuel of resentment  since Goldwater, has brought them to  the most insane voices .
Now, they are in the party .

The lesson of building a monster,  you can’t control it once you’re done.

  13. Take heart ,  the world is full  really  smart people.  More than we have ever seen , their toil  pulled  our chestnuts  out of this fire.
Their  efforts  are about to be in high demand.  Hell is coming to breakfast.

  14. There seems to be a few reviling interviews with those who were in the depths of the Cold War, spies, are being published.  I find it interesting, very interesting, that these are released.  The agencies, whether American, British, German, Russian or Chinese, AND many others, would not release these without a reason.  Even compromised spies are not published unless there is a reason.  We, Americans, are still holding secrets going back to the Civil War due to security.  Real security not the modern version of classify everything.  I do not care who is telling the story, if it involves spies do not believe it.  There is always something else behind the story.

  15. More than 140 characters.  Blaming others, taking no responsibility for the bad, yet claiming credit for any fix.    Loser. Delusional loser.
    Delusional, Republican loser.

  16. Here’s hoping 2021 will be The Perfect Year:  Two Versions Australia and New York.  Please bring back live theater.

  18. About
The Victoria Tavern, known locally as ‘The Vic’, was built in 1900 and originally billed as a European-style hotel featuring first class accommodations and steam heat.
Located in beautiful Historic Downtown Salida, the two-story corner entrance building has housed many businesses throughout her history. Before settling in as a tavern in 1910, she was a grocery store, meat market and billiards hall.

For nearly 30 years The Victoria has belonged to Peter Simonson. The Simonson Family, supported by an all-star team, continue to keep The Vic a beautiful historic presence and an asset to the local economy.
Long gone may be the days of 2-bit rooms and 10¢ quarts of beer, but a trace of The Vic’s victorian elegance remains, only to be trumped by her bawdy nights and stories she’ll never tell.
The Victoria Tavern is located at 143 North F Street in Historic Downtown Salida, Colorado * Phone 719.539.9003
