A wonderful work for two flutes. A bit longer than usual but worth every minute. A perfect beginning to any Sunday morning.
Enjoy the music and as always enjoy your day!

good news, bad news…. good: poll shows dems ahead. bad: same pollsters said Hillary would win.
from today’s the hill: Dem lead in generic ballot polls worries GOP
Republicans head into the holiday season with a daunting number hanging over their heads — 10.7 percent.
Democrats lead their Republican rivals by 10.7 percent on the generic congressional ballot, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics average of available polling data. That mark is the highest the RCP’s average has gone since just before the 2010 elections, where Republicans netted 63 House seats.
It’s a gloomy sign for Republicans, and one that dovetails with President Trump’s sagging approval rating to boost Democratic optimism about taking the House and raises questions about whether Republicans will be able to take advantage of Democratic weakness on the Senate map.
“It’s always stupid to make firm predictions in anything, whether it be politics or the Super Bowl. But it seems clear we are heading in a bad direction” said former Republican National Committee spokesman Doug Heye.
“What we’ve seen so far this year that the constant is massive Trump unpopularity, a growing unpopularity, and we are starting to see that electorally. Knowing there’s never going to be a Donald Trump pivot in any sense, what would tell us that anything in this midterm is different?”

A beautiful morning glory with music to the trail. I love the sound of woodwinds. Thank you, Jace.
BB and Craig…indictment watch. Several blogs, sites and newspapers have been speculating for weeks. One site has mentioned over 34 sealed indictments…some may or may not be Moscow Mueller’s, but some sealed indictments may be evidence against the election heist gang.
Very special to me to have dedicated court/indictment watchers on the case. Steve Reilly, USA today.
Questionable, but interesting patribotics blog Mueller has dozens of indictments.
good catch BW. Think I’ll stick with Reilly for confirm-able news. All he’s saying is there are 4 sealed indictments with case numbers between the Papa and Mana case numbers. Which is enough for heavy speculation. Such as: those could be the folks wearing wires.
Jace, you are so coy–bringing out the flutes so old yellow hair will frolic around the breakfast buffet. And doing this knowing that you have the Chopin on deck in anticipation of the demise of his administration.
Seriously, well done!
Lovely music in the morning Jace. Thank you for always putting the joy in our Sunday mornings.
I don’t know whether to be proud or terrified.
The five year old great granddaughter has learned read and write well enough to do the above so her mother taught her how to do “voice to text” on google to avoid the “how do you spell” questions every other minute.

She did win. They said 5% ahead on the popular vote. Unfortunately the election was decided by an outmoded, slave based electoral system that due to population patterns has now screwed with every election since Bush v Gore in some fashion.
Jamie, the precocious kid also has an excellent ear and remarkably good pronunciation. That indicates lots of parental involvement. I would be concerned if there isn’t substantial device-free social interaction.
On Thursday as guests arrived for dinner (I hosted) I let them know the event rules: No devices and No politics. Everybody behaved. And the turkey and wine, a 2007 Syrah, were fine.
My granddaughter really is a very good mother, particularly since the four girls range from just turned one to creeping up on six. I would have been a complete basket case with that crowd. There are lots of crafts, cooking, plus getting kicked out into the back yard for run around time totally away from devices. Add in gymnastics and now stair stepping into brownies. Of course Mary is your typical loving dictator of a first child.
Jamie, about that grocery list…. a cow?

Marlette: Body cameras to purge political pervs
[…]
Indeed, sunshine is the best antiseptic for society’s scummiest organisms. But after this purge, we’ll need prevention. And while we can’t police all bad behavior in private society, the public realm could benefit from one simple security measure.
Body cameras on politicians.
We strap them on our law enforcement officers in order to enhance their mission of protecting and serving. So why not do the same to our elected officials?
Besides, who do you trust more in life — police or politicians?
Just imagine how effective body cameras could be for improving bad behavior in the Florida Legislature. The recent allegations of groping, sexual harassment and infidelities would be much less likely to take place if body cameras were watching. Can you imagine a powerful state senator slobbering and slouching over young female staffers if his wife had the ability to live stream the video straight to her smartphone?
Also this year, another state senator got outed for cheating on his wife with a lobbyist. Yet another hired a Hooters girl and a Playboy model as “consultants.” You think this stuff would happen if body cameras were mandatory fashion accessories in Tallahassee?
All elected officials would be required to wear the cameras 24-7 as long as they held office. Politicians would be outfitted with the cameras the way parolees are fitted with ankle monitors. Crotch cams would also be required for male politicians, since that’s the central location where the majority of their decisions are made.
In addition to curbing the rampant groping, infidelity, harassment and sexual misadventures that have become more ubiquitous in Tallahassee than tomahawk-chopping, body cameras would improve public trust, enhance the legislative process and ensure better stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
You think legislative leaders would agree to dump millions into a slush fund for the governor if body cameras were broadcasting the entire closed-door meeting? You think the state’s top Republicans would schmooze and smooch with sugar lobbyists on secret hunting trips to Texas if body cameras captured every intimate moment? You think they’d go out drinking with industry executives, special interests and political donors if body cameras turned it all into reality TV?
The Christian conservatives and family-values Republicans who currently dominate the Florida Legislature should enthusiastically support the use of body cameras for elected officials. God sees the truth in everything, after all. So why shouldn’t we help taxpayers do the same?
And there’s no reason political body cameras should be limited to state government. Strap ‘em onto senators, congressmen and the president, too. Fair warning, though. The live feed from The Donald’s morning tweet-sessions atop the gold-plated throne may contain graphic content and disturbing images. Viewer discretion is advised.

I asked about that as well. Cow is on there for a never ending supply of hamburger.
Just for grins I thought it would be fun to have a little update on KGB/FSB/GRU/SVR agents. This link is prior to SFB and his minions getting into power to destroy America. KGB
BB your 1752 adds nothing to the gleeful atmosphere that I enjoy. I don’t want electrolux et alia vacuuming here.
I enjoyed your ‘home -visit’ on Thanksgiving; they’re more than therapeutic!
Thanks for the flutes, Jace. Mozart hated flutes. At least about this one musical point, old Wolfgang was wrong.
