  1. back in march, this ran in the Spoof, too bad it’s only satire:

Russian oligarchs predict Putin will be impeached | The Spoof

MOSCOW – (World Satire) – The word from the Kremlin is that the rich-as-hell oligarchs of Russia are fed up with the way Putin is handling the war.
The Ukrainian army is decimating the Russian army at an alarming rate. Reports from the war front state that Russian soldiers are taking off their uniforms and blending into the population.
One high-ranking general, took of his officer’s uniform and actually put on a maid’s outfit and told Ukrainian soldiers that he was a transgendered tranny.
Reportedly four of the Ukrainian soldiers turned the former general into a salt shaker and passed his ass around to all of the happy troops.
Meanwhile the oligarchs are now trying to find a replacement for Putin. They actually placed an ad in the Russian version of Craig’s List, which is Craigski’s Listovich.
SIDENOTE: The Kremlin Voice reports that one of the leading candidates to replace Putin is Russian Salad Dressing mogul, Nickolas Dufuckavich.

“…developing the liquid-fueled Sarmat was like giving “a facelift” to the original Satan missile.”

“Like the SS-18, the Sarmat could carry 10 and possibly more independently targeted nuclear warheads with a range of up to 18,000 kilometers (11,185 miles), according to the Missile Defense Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. That is far enough to reach the continental US.”

“…Putin had used “very Hitlerian rhetoric when boasting about the Sarmat being the best system in the world”.

“[He’s] trying to make the Russians confident and proud in their technological prowess, when the war is highlighting constant shortcomings with the Russian military’s ability…”

  3. Putin orders blockade of Mariupol steelworks ‘so a fly can’t get through’ | Ukraine | The Guardian

Vladimir Putin has ordered his forces not to storm the last remaining Ukrainian stronghold in the besieged city of Mariupol, after his defence minister admitted that the Russian army was still fighting thousands of Ukrainian troops there.
Putin described a plan to storm the Azovstal steelworks “impractical” and called instead for Russian troops to blockade the area “so that a fly can’t get through”.
The declaration came during a meeting at the Kremlin, where the Russian defence minister, Sergei Shoigu, presented a report to Putin about the closely watched battle for the Ukrainian port city and claimed that the city had been “liberated”, although fighting was ongoing.
He said it would take several more days for the Russians to defeat the Ukrainians fighting at the steelworks, a sprawling mass of tunnels and workshops spread over four square miles in the south-east of the city.
The meeting appeared to be orchestrated in order for the Russians to step back from the assault on the steelworks, which has been stymied by a fierce Ukrainian resistance and the difficulties of operating in the industrial area.
Leaving the plant in Ukrainian hands robs the Russians of the ability to declare complete victory in Mariupol. The city’s capture has strategic and symbolic importance.
“This is the case when we have to think, that is, we always have to think, and in this case even more so, about preserving the lives and health of our soldiers and officers,” Putin said. “There is no need to climb into these catacombs and crawl underground through these industrial facilities.”

  4. Let’s hope Oleg’s rant is heard by someone with the ability to get to Vlad…and take him out.  The longer this lasts, the worse it will be for Russia long after they lose in Ukraine.  And, they will lose.

  5. I just watched a clip of KGB agent Puttie and the resurrected Shoigu (not a real military guy).  It was about twenty seconds in length but contained a tremendous amount of information about both men, all visual I do not speak Russian.  Putin looks like a very ill person.  Extremely puffed up face, often a side effect of steroids and other medications. Very pale, not the super man on a horse in the outdoors look. It shows his right side, which had been not shown in previous videos.  His hands are white knuckle gripped on the table, his right leg bouncing up and down. His left hand on the table but not as solid as the right.  He is hunched over, not the straight back he used to display.

Shoigu looks alive a little more solid than VP, but definitely out of not looking like dead. Importantly he was not in any type of uniform, military or whatever he was supposed to be.  That is a big signal that he is no longer leading the Russian military in any way.  Everything is staged and this is important.

And, the biggest thing is also the smallest.  The two were seated at a small table, something the size of a card table. VP germophobia and fear of assassination ignored.  This detail is very important for Kremlin watchers.  I have not seen much speculation about the table yet.

The television broadcast was to announce changes to the destruction of Ukraine and the withdrawal of russian military to a siege mode. This is probably the first of several announcements as May 1 is coming up and probably a day to withdraw from Ukraine (speculation).  Puttie is obviously very ill, perhaps terminal (speculation but in line with a lot of others).

  6. patd – that picture is from the tv clip. You can read a lot into it from the positions of VP and Shigu. KGB agent Puttie is all slumped down, you can see the death grip his right hand has on the table. Some speculation about Parkinson’s.  There is a slight resemblance to how SFB looked after meeting with VP in Helsinki. With the oligarchs starting to be public in statements and VP looking like a beat down former leader, along with the military having to sit back in siege, it does not look good for anything long lasting.  IE KBG agent Puttie should start on his will.  I think his medical power of attorney is already written for him.

  7. These dictator guys never seem to realize that they might have to have an operation which would require anesthesia.

  8. My life has improved, once again, even if the republican elites never told me about a marvelous tool.  A tool making my life easier and better. What tool could do that you ask? Why a Spam slicer it is. It looks like a hard boiled egg slicer, but bigger and just perfect for a block of Spam. Perfect slices every time.  And, it works on scrapple too.  That is a bonus. No comments about taking the easy way out, I do not even tell my doctor I can enjoy perfect slices of Spam.

  9. BlueBronc…
if you’ve never been to Hawaii, you need to go.  There is Spam everywhere…  you can get a Spam burger at McDonalds.  And the best pineapple in the world!

  10. That pic of Vlad across the table from his defense minister reminds me of this snively little prick of an attorney I occasionally have to deal with in cases in one of the more remote counties I practice in.  Looks to me like he’s being slowly consumed by some evil spirit and is transforming into something just a bit less than human.

Love the Tfucker Coppertone ad takeoff.

  11. Breaking news details to follow – Supremes decide Congress does not need to extend disability benefits to Puerto Rico.  WTH?

The question is whether the equal-protection component of the due process clause requires Congress to make Supplemental Social Security benefits available to Puerto Rico residents in the same way as residents of the States. The answer, the Court says today, is no. Sotomayer dissents.

Another reason to vote Dems into office, all offices.

  12. Liberals just HAD to get O’Reilly off the air, now we get a penis-obsessed racist hitler-wannabe, instead.  Thanks, Olbermann🙄

  13. It looks like the pins in Vlad’s voodoo doll are finally working.  You’re welcome.  Fluffy is on deck.

  14. That ruling about PR was 8-1 and based on a tax obligations/benefits analysis. The Obama and Biden administrations supported that reading of the law but Biden called for the law to be changed to provide those benefits.

  15. Steroids to treat his Parkinson’s sounds plausible, however, he was always an arsehole.

  16. CNN+ – made it 2.9 Scaramucii’s before being cancelled.  Whoops, somebody in forecasting got the wrong set of chicken entrails.

  17. Russians let this happen. Russians helped him.  It’s not just Vlad.  It will take decades for ten to recover any credibility with the rest of the world.

  18. The average Russian only has slightly less influence over their government than you or i have over ours, BiD.

  19. Dear God in heaven….  if you really exist….  please bring Bernie Sanders home…

  20. Speculation about KGB agent Puttie showing his right side even with tremors is he might have had a stroke and his left side is no longer working.  That could be game changing.

  21. Where is Jamie? She’ll want to know about Bernie and his finger waving in 2024.

    Where is Jamie?

    https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/why-does-vladimir-putin-walk-n480611

“You may have never noticed it, but Russian President Vladimir Putin walks a little funny.”

“…Putin often walks with his right arm held rigid, while his left arms swings freely.”

“Now researchers think they know why: It’s most likely KGB weapons training at work.”

“According to this manual, KGB operatives were instructed to keep their weapon in their right hand close to their chest and to move forward with one side, usually the left, presumably allowing subjects to draw the gun as quickly as possible when confronted with a foe.”

“They saw the same strange gait in Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, two former defense ministers and a military commander named Anatoly Sidorov.”

So, if his left arm was swinging freely, per the 2015 article, and now he’s hiding it…

  22. Republicans have complained that Biden hasn’t been tough enough on Russia.

If President Biden has to go to Congress to get more money for Ukraine/weapons next week, will they block or OK funds?
Do Republicans hate Putin more than they hate Biden?

    https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/biden-speak-ukraine-war-amid-expectation-new-military-aid-2022-04-21/

“President Joe Biden pledged $800 million in more weaponry for Ukraine on Thursday and said he would ask Congress for more money to help bolster support for the Ukrainian military…”

  23. bId – You would be surprised by what you learn observing people.  The KGB had some silly quirks, but they also had some stupid things.  In the U.S. they did things to stick out, you do not speak with a heavy accent and smoke crummy cigarettes without being noticed.  The FSB, replacements to the KGB, are younger and surprising do not smoke (as much). The are also not the same mind set as the KGB, less likely to kill you.  As soon as this is post this I will be getting a hit on one of my websites.  They are like little children, kicking mommy when she tells them no more vodka for breakfast.

  24. We were told in the coast guard to develop that “eyes that look beyond you” thing.   In boot camp they called it “eyes in the boat” and if you failed at it while they were standing in front of you they’d whack you with their swagger stick.
    No, I don’t know why.
Also, I don’t know why they carried swagger sticks.
    I wish Flatus was here.

  25. https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/21/us/reedy-creek-walt-disney-florida/index.html

“The dissolution of the special district would mean that Orange and Osceola counties take on the assets and liabilities of Reedy Creek. That could lead to higher taxes for those residents to pay off Reedy Creek’s debts and take over the care of roads, policing, fire protection, waste management and more.”

“The debt service alone for Reedy Creek is over a billion dollars,” Farmer said Wednesday. “This bill makes no provision as to how that debt service is going to be assumed. Local government entities must pick up assets and liabilities of any special district that is dissolved.”
