  1. As a proud Californian I approve the appointment of Gloria Allred as the flight attendant for Bernie’s plane.

  2. Hot damn!!! here’s to hillary, to all my friends here i came to know because of hillary- and craig’s superlative journalism, and here’s to patsi, great friend and true feminist.  gratitude, love and kindness!

  3. OSH – the very words I was getting ready to write.  I feel very good.  Now comes the very hard part GOTV.  But a good day is made.

  4. All the Best, OldSeaHag. Secretary Clinton is lucky to have supporters like you & the other good people here.

  5. Well, there it was at about 6:38 p.m. EDT.  Hillary became the first woman who is the presidential nominee of one of the 2 major parties in the US.  As Craig said, “At long last and way too late…” Now if only the 2nd half of Poobah’s comment comes to pass.

  6. Vermont passes?  WT…?

Now I see, going to cast the last votes for Bernie, who will move that Clinton be recognized as the nominee?

  7. Just to be fair tonight, someone should ask Bill Clinton, “Who Are You Wearing.”

    Jamie,

He should come to the podium dressed in white. As God is my witness, I would send a donation to HRC immediately if he did.

  8. RebelliousRenee,

I saw Bill Clinton on August 24,1992 at a Rally not far from my home. Glad I did – he is the consummate Politician & exudes the “It” factor like no other person I’ve seen. Gotta have memories like that; ties me in with how people must have felt about JFK a generation earlier. Btw, Gore was at the Rally too. No charisma whatsoever. Watching paint dry would have been more exciting.

  9. It’s not much of a choice, but it’s clear, nonetheless.

    May cooler heads prevail.

  10. I’mtraveling today learning how to use this phone so I can check in

  11. Donny is just wearing his tiny fingers to the bone tonight … petty, stupid, useless, vindictive, egotistical, arrogant Twit that he is.

  12. Good to see the nomination.  But interesting comments that young women do not see this as historic as those of us that are older.  David Axelrod made the comment and it is interesting.  If you are past the identity political elements and you see all people equal than this is not such a big deal.

It is more like not knowing history or being aware of the contributions and efforts of others in making it possible to enjoy your life. We ALL built this!!!!
