“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

  1. NYPost:

Nostradamus predictions for 2023: An antichrist arrives, World War III and the monarchy dies

[not to worry, he predicts this every year]

  2. question:  when george santos is sworn in on wednesday as expected and later the house expels him (which will take time for ethics committee to meet and investigate and for 2/3 house to vote for expulsion)
    OR
if after swearing in he promptly resigns,
what – if any – taxpayer paid benefits will he as a former congressman be allowed to keep?

  3. 26 companies with no revenue but millions in tax deductions! That can’t be legal.

And his audit excuse for not releasing taxes also a lie.

Had he not inherited half billion dollars he’d be broke. He was a horrible businessman, lost money on everything except The Apprentice

  4. I would like to know about Clarence and Ginni Thomas’ financial dealings, as well as every member of the GQP.  Why does Lindsey seem like he’s in the bag for Poo-tin’s orange pawn?

  5. jamie, thanks for the links.  bottom line is looks like the guy will feed at the public trough* for a while before he’s expelled (if ever) and unless they also vote to strip him of all goodies or he’s convicted of certain crimes, he might get to keep his benefits.

    * including lobbyists’ dark money stash

  6. santos may lose his pension, but in the meantime we’re footing the bills for his healthcare, free mail/publicity, expenses and vacay junkets
