Vaccines Are Fun

Got my first Pfizer vaccine today at DC Convention Center. Very smooth, took 30 minutes. Didn’t feel a thing, no side effects. Love my Garfield bandaid. Get yours when you can. It’s no big deal.

  1. What Poobah said…

And then there’s Matt Gaetz.  Is it just me or does this strike anyone else as curious in light of the investigation just made public?  In 2017, Mr. Gaetz was the only member of Congress to vote against a law that gave the federal government more power and money to fight human trafficking.

  2. I received my 2nd dose last week at the Oregon State Fairgrounds…very well organized! Salem Health and the Oregon National Guard did a great job!

  3. Pogo – I think a very interesting thing is that the investigation was started under barr and kept quiet until now.  It must be another little poke in the cheeks to SFB to have another cheerleader turn out to be a suspected criminal too.

  4. The gaetz investigation was meant to be kept secret and held over gaetz’ head in case he ever tried to leave the reservation.  He  became a casualty when Biden won.

  5. sturge, you may be on to something there and that extortion might actually have been real and a way to keep him on “the reservation” –  wonder if same thing was done to jjim ordan (i.e. wrestling coach scandal) and nunez (putie’s puppet)

  6. I used to think that the Biden presidency was going to turn out a bit like Obama – nothing really big being done the last 6 years or so.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Obama, but the all out Republican assault to get the black man out of the white house was too much to really get things done.
I kind of have the feeling that Biden may be able to thread the needle and become a really consequential President.  The level of focus that he seems to have is quite impressive.  I sure hope I’m correct.

  7. I love POTUS Joe and have hope that there will be a vaccine for me IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD by the end of the month.  We’re not even at 100 days and things are so much better!

  8. hope that there will be a vaccine for me IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD

…there is, nobody is going to beg or call you in to schedule

  9. With mask mandates being rejected and people having the ability to claim they’ve been vaccinated, whether that’s true or not, and THEN with pollen reducing immune response on top of all that (i called that a year, ago, pat myself on the back) i would be running, not walking, to get mine.

  10. PLUS, the U.S. secured supply of high-quality doses is the envy of most of the world.  Some Europeans are forced to make weird pilgrimages to foreign countries to TRY and get a dose.
