First, for those of you who follow Twitter so the rest of us do not have to, thank you so much for your service. You have gone above and beyond and have saved us who do not follow Twitter hours of aggravation.

So now, gird your loins & buckle up, things are gonna get ugly. After the Republicans on the Board delayed the results in the largest county in Michigan, the Wayne county election board has reversed its position and certified the Wayne County results, which put Biden over the top in Michigan. Now the results go to the State to certify Michigan’s results. The angry toddler’s tweet storm has got to be starting now.

Again, thank you for your service.

    Patd, Dolly is truly an angel.  Her charities are numerous.  Having Dollywood closed off and on or limited admission  must be hard as it supplied so many jobs around where she was born in Pigeon Forge.  She is probably carrying the employees.  One thing that never stops, are the non releasable eagles with two nested breeding pairs and one area reserved for speed dating bachelors lol.

  5. Dolly is probably carrying her employees because there is no stimulus package.  There is no Christmas rush except for those in  high-end, financial and tech jobs who can work from home.

    that story sure would make a terrific children’s book if any of you good writers on the trail need some inspiration.  maybe a collaboration with whoever is also good at illustrations.

    i imagine the tale describing the initial woes of the tree having been a century old homestead for the little owl’s family, he/she being perhaps the last of the breed and homeless now that the tree is felled. a lot of pathos, misunderstandings, evil greedy corporations, compassionate truckers/vets/etc and a happy ending finding another of its breed at a sanctuary once it was saved and survived the ordeal.

    DETROIT — After three hours of tense deadlock on Tuesday, the two Republicans on an election board in Michigan’s most populous county reversed course and voted to certify the results of the Nov. 3 election, a key step toward finalizing President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the state.

    Now, they both want to take back their votes.

    In affidavits signed Wednesday evening, the two GOP members of the four-member Wayne County Board of Canvassers allege they were improperly pressured into certifying the election and accused Democrats of reneging on a promise to audit votes in Detroit.

    “I rescind my prior vote,” Monica Palmer, the board’s chairwoman, wrote in an affidavit reviewed by The Washington Post. “I fully believe the Wayne County vote should not be certified.”
    William Hartmann, the other Republican on the board, has signed a similar affidavit, according a person familiar with the document. Hartmann did not respond to a message from The Post.

    Jonathan Kinloch, a Democrat and the board’s vice chairman, told The Post it’s too late for the pair to reverse course, as the certified results have been sent to the secretary of state in accordance with state rules. He lashed out at the Republicans over their requests.

    “Do they understand how they are making us look as a body?” he said. “We have such an amazing and important role in the democratic process, and they’re turning it on its head.”

    If my memory serves, New Yorkers viewed Trump as a glad handing, conman who could be bought by the highest bidder.  He actually sold his name more than a hotel and was leveraged up to the eyeballs.  He could be charming but was also thought to be truly stupid.

    I don’t think anyone saw him as a possible dictator and the Russians pretty much just used him to launder money.
