Trump Declares GOP Civil War

Trump at CPAC: the Democrats don’t have “grandstanders like Mitt Romney, Little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey. And in the House, Tom Rice..Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez, that’s another beauty, Fred Upton.. Jaime Herrera Beutler, Peter Meijer, John Katko, David Valadao and of course the war monger..Liz Cheney..hopefully they’ll get rid of her..get rid of them all”

  1. craig, that was a blatant hit list, not a call to anything that could be termed civil.

“get rid of” is an unambiguous order by a don

  2. in order to limit the number of times his name is mentioned (something the megalomaniac tracks assiduously) can we refer to him (kinda like joe does) as “that former guy” or any other  appropriate euphemism (i.e. LOSER)?

also am thinking “nonperson” here as in merriam-webster’s

    Definition of nonperson
: a person who is regarded as nonexistent: such as
    a: UNPERSON
b: one having no social or legal status

  3. meanwhile, happy march the oneth!

Sun’s gonna shine in my back door some day Sun’s gonna shine in my back door some day Sun’s gonna shine in my back door some day March wind’s goin’ to blow my blues all away

  4. He just called for a hit, in the ears of his rabid followers.    Come over to the light side, Republicans he called out.  Side with Dems and show  the F-ers standing with the fascist dictator (currently in exile at Mar-a-Ego) that they aren’t in control.

  5. Let them fight each other.  Better they spend time and money within the repug nomination process than focusing on the Biden administration and their Democratic opponents. And with an 82% straw poll rating at 2019 CPAC Dumbass lost the 2020 election by what he termed a landslide in 2016. At 55% he shouldn’t have the influence he had in the 2018 midterms or the 2020 general election. Fight on trumpers, fight on.

  6. You will now see some gop senators and reps breaking toward and voting with democrats…….I’d stake y’all’s reputation on it.

  7. pogo, were you referring to the former guy’s (aka the Loser) influence or flatulence?   smells in either case.

  8. What a mess — Maureen Dowd lectures liberals about the press

First off, if Dowd thinks liberals spent four years lionizing the New York Times for its Trump coverage, then the Beltway bubble she lives in is even more impenetrable and remote than I thought. Progressives for years were rightly fuming over the Times’ forced timidity when covering Trump — the paper’s failure to call out his lies, its never-ending attempt to normalize his radical behavior, and the daily’s relentless, fawning coverage of Trump voters, who were depicted as the true voice of authentic America — not the backbone for a looming insurrection.

  9. Infighting Republicans…   gotta love it!

Craig….  thanks for watching and updating us on what was happening at CPAC.  You should get hazard pay for that!

  10. I watched & listened to most of CPAC on Sunday.  *gag*  Same old BS.

Latinos are boycotting Goya.  So will I.  I texted a long list of friends to that effect.

  11. I took notes for friends who couldn’t stand to listen to CPAC.
trumpity, the loser said:  a lot on illegal aliens including chain migration (like his wifey did), border security, kids back to school at all costs!, dems are anti science and hate women, he saved millions of covid lives, everyone should get the shot, he touted his great international deal making, we have the cleanest air and water now, wind power is a disaster – dead birds,  Biden is destroying women’s sports – trans people,  he won 2 elections and wants to win 3, theirs is a party of love, he dumped on SCOTUS, called out his enemies by name, and more crap…. AND….he wants to dominate the future of the world!!  Like listening to Hitler.

  12. Shhhhhh….A secret revealed” trumpity & wifey got the covid vaccine in January while still in office!  Shhhhhhh

  13. One of the expressed reasons that “conservative” misanthropic curmudgeons appreciate the former guy is because he pisses off liberals so much.  Stop getting so pissed off by him and he loses some of his power.

  14. Suddenly, I want the evening news to be filled with Tiger and with GaGa’s dogs.  It doesn’t work that way and SFB knows it.

  15. It’s literally a party of, by, and for internet trolls.

    You know what they say…

  16. The R in RNC should stand for Racist and they are best thought of as the Plantation Owners, what with all their voter suppression attempts.  Bastards.

  17. If we had parliamentary government, there would be an overtly fascist party with standing in the legislature, so let’s hope the two-party system vomits these jackasses out🙏

  18. We’ll all be done with dipshit once everyone is vaccinated, no one will care at that point

  19. the hill:

President Biden is starting his tenure in White House with the approval of 61 percent of voters, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill on Monday.

    […]

There’s a relatively wide partisan divide in early perceptions of Biden’s presidency, with an overwhelming majority of Democrats approving of his job performance and most Republicans disapproving. Still, nearly one-third of GOP voters  31 percent  said they approve of Biden’s handling of his job.

Biden’s approval rating is accompanied by a rise in approval for his party as a whole. Overall, 55 percent of respondents said they approve of the Democratic Party, marking a 7-point increase since January, when slightly less than half of those surveyed gave the party a positive review.

Approval of the GOP, meanwhile, is trailing that of the Democrats, coming in at 44 percent, according to the survey.

    […]

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey of 2,006 registered voters was conducted from Feb. 23 to 25. It is a collaboration of the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and The Harris Poll.

Full poll results will be posted online later this week. The survey is an online sample drawn from the Harris Panel and weighted to reflect known demographics. As a representative online sample, it does not report a probability confidence interval.

  20. Bink, no I’m not hip to Tame Impala’s work. Not a fan of techno music. I like vibrating strings and beaten skins captured by electro-magnetic pickups and microphones, amplified through huge transformers and vacuum tubes. I don’t dislike their music, but don’t love the genre.
I do agree that we shouldn’t give Dumbass oxygen, but it’s so hard… he’s such a FUCKING IDIOT. who knew that winning the presidency let’s you live on a golf course in SE FL?  I thought it was a white Neoclassical Palladian mansion on Pennsylvania Avenue in DC.

  21. Trolled ya!🤪

TI isn’t techno, not for nuthin’, he’s kind of his own genre, which is the mark of genius

  22. like i said, dipshit is over, it’s just that he and half the liberals don’t realize it, yet.

No one is gonna want his bullshit in 4 years, i promise

The next asshole after him?  Keep your eyes peeled👀

  23. Another great band you’d like if you were younger:

(Sorry, in a good mood, i see light at the end if the tunnel, just gotta triple-down on protocol ‘til
    i get my shot)

  24. Pogo – You might like TI’s  “Elephant.” It lacks the drive of Black Keys, but is reminiscent of them.

  25. He took the mirrors off his Cadillac (yeah) ‘cause he don’t like lookin’ like he looks back (yeah)🤙 ❤️

  26. Mouse on Mars. Space Candy.  Now there’s some stuff that I can’t understand listening to at length. Techno-glitch.  Just sampling and looping.  It’s like they understand coding, but not music theory. Music is meant to be played, not programmed.

  27. Billie Eilish and her brother might be the current genre-creators.  Do they have stayer power to flesh it out?🤷‍♂️

    I think they might!

  28. “ Now there’s some stuff that I can’t understand listening to at length.”

You groove to it whilst engaged in other shit

Here’s their best album, another promise i can make is that you’ll enjoy it, at length, provided the right mood, but not tonight✌️

  29. Jazz is largely terrible

    #uncomfortabletruths

if you’re going to claim “jazz”, which was the experimental music of the 30’s-50’s, you can’t credibly dismiss today’s experimental music

  30. You can improve as a player by improving as a person. It’s a duty we owe to ourselves.
