Sighted!

The Illusive mythical creature really does exist! No, alas, not yet our fearless leader once again pointing the way at trailhead, but the mysterious Yeti (or at least his/her tracks) has been sighted by the Indian Army according to the

BBC.

‘Yeti footprints’: Indian army mocked over claim
The Indian army has claimed to have found footprints of the yeti, sparking jokes and disbelief on social media.
The army tweeted to its nearly six million followers on Monday that it had discovered “mysterious footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ at the Makalu Base Camp [in the Himalayas]”.
The yeti – a giant ape-like creature – often figures in South Asian folklore.
There is no evidence proving yeti exist but the myth retains a strong appeal in the region.
And the army has now added to the legend by sharing pictures of “footprints” in the snow on an official Twitter account.
Although the footprints were discovered on 9 April, the army made the discovery public only after deciding that it matched earlier theories about the yeti, according to a report in the Times of India.
Reacting to the disbelief on social media, the army said the “evidence” about the yeti had been “photographed ” and “handed over to subject matter experts”.
“So, we thought it prudent [to go public] to excite scientific temper and rekindle the interest.”

Decades ago Kumcho and I traveled to New Orleans with my mom and dad. Dad was there for a series of meetings and we were there to keep mom interested in what would be a casual stay in N.O.. One morning we decided to visit the zoo. It was compact as geography of the area dictated; that didn’t detract from our interest in the critters there. Interest turned to shame when I made eye-to-eye contact with the resident/trophy/imprisoned gorilla standing Yeti-like in ‘his’ space.

Flatus…  I went to that zoo when I went to N.O. with Rick while he had a conference for work.  I ran around all over New Orleans.  The cable car ride to the zoo was great… seeing all those magnificent old mansions that were accurately described by Anne Rice.  At the time, the main attraction at the zoo was a beautiful white lion.

Ms Jamie, I confess that I am the culprit who chose to ride Tax. Being a born-again Yaller Dog Dem, I just couldn’t help myself. Thanks for your kindness.

It’s a fine thing to see the city recognizing Mrs Jack, and by extension, Mr Jack.
Pardon me. It’s getting a little misty. Maybe it’s pollen.

Xrep yeah a lot of pollen around these days.
While we have built a lot of relations with different folks, I was really surprised at the people who came to the memorial service.
I don’t think we are that special, anybody can do this shit if they just get up off their asses and do it. I guess I should be thankful they don’t. Less competition.

Jamie, put me down for “War of Will”
This year is going to be different, This one is a sure thing, my gut tells me. At least maybe this one has a chance to finish the race.

pat, there’s something to that clown on credit stuff – golf courses and ski resorts have a couple of things in common – you can’t sell them very easily and it takes 3 bankruptcies to make them profitable.  IF SFB had to come up with cash, what of his properties aren’t highly leveraged (i.e. upside down) and which one(s) would he be able to unload at anything other than fire sale prices?  My guess its the answer is none.

Run roh. Mueller calls out Barr as misleading us.
Mueller complained that Barr’s letter did not capture ‘context’ of Trump probe

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III wrote a letter in late March complaining to Attorney General William P. Barr that a four-page memo to Congress describing the principal conclusions of the investigation into President Trump “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s work, according to a copy of the letter reviewed Tuesday by The Washington Post.

The letter and a subsequent phone call between the two men reveal the degree to which the two longtime colleagues and friends disagreed as they handled the legally and politically fraught task of investigating the president.

This is heating up.

Ms Pat,
The Mueller report actually enumerated 10 instances of obstruction of justice. What it did not do was find intent beyond a reasonable doubt. I think most prosecutors, plus Mr Pogo, Esq., would probably find enough evidence to take the case to a jury and let that jury decide whether or not there was intent. As one who always* worked for the defense, I am sympathetic with Mr Mueller’s reticence.
*Except in one instance.

I doubt that trump is all that worried about being found out to be a mere credit multi-millionaire. I think that’d wash over him without disturbing his façade. The banking has to be a bigger, nastier deal than that : 1. Below market rate loans or gifts from Russia. 2. Payments made to Planned Parenthood for, uh, medical situations, er . . . uh . . . . 3. Below market rate loans or gifts from snaudi Arabia, the gulf states, or Kuwait. 4. Payments made to blatantly religious or racist hate groups. 5. Below market loans or gifts from the adelsons, the waltons, Ellison, Catz, Singer,  or other crazed republicanine B!LL!IONA!RE$. 6. Payments to or for the services of prostituted people, men, women, or children. 7. Payments either to or from the la cosa nostra, the mafia, the mob, purples, the gd, lks, vls or ms 13, etc. Further, the… Read more »
