Clinton’s Florida Air War

Here are the two Clinton ads that appear to be exclusively airing in heavy rotation in the Central Florida market where I’ve been for a week. Have seen them run as much as twice each in a single half-hour local newscast. No Trump ads spotted so far. Social media videos, fun and games have their place but this is the heavy artillery:

  5. Sometimes reading the Comments section is better than the actual article: a few years back I came across an Ancestry DNA story about their tests to help find your family roots. The feedback was a hoot. “I’m English! This test is faulty! It came back stating my family came from Central Europe & Scandinavia!!”

    For years, the conspiracy-minded have been trying to prove that Hillary Clinton gave “stand-down” orders blocking the military from helping ambassador Chris Stevens and other U.S. personnel in Benghazi the night of the 2012 attacks. But Donald Trump asserts the opposite: Clinton was unconscious.
    Stevens “was left helpless to die as Hillary Clinton soundly slept in her bed,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee declared Wednesday in an unfocused jeremiad against his Democratic opponent. “That’s right. When the phone rang, as per the commercial, at three o’clock in the morning, Hillary Clinton was sleeping.”
    That’s not right — unless Trump is accusing Clinton of taking an afternoon nap. Stevens and the others were attacked in the late afternoon, Washington time. Clinton, who was in Washington and closely involved in the response, issued a public statement about the attacks at 10 p.m. and wrote an email to her daughter about the matter an hour later — well before Trump’s imaginary 3 a.m. wake-up call.

    When people stop and listen to the leadership from the Orlando City Council and get past the PC, there is no amount of money that Hillary can spend to win the POTUS.

    You are so correct,  and Donald Trump did not correctly handle the situation.  It is not that she did not answer the phone,  It is that she was tired and went home to bed.

    I wish the MSM would get it right.  The American People will realize that we need and must have Legal Immigration and have the laws enforced.  We want legal Immigration.

    One thing about being  over 60, I remember when the same person said “I want my neighborhood like it used to be, and to be politically incorrect, I mean white!”

    When that attitude got them ostracised from groups they wanted to belong to,  they change it to the immigrant du jour. when that didn’t fly they switched to “I’m talking about illegals”

    But in reality what they really mean is what they loudly proclaimed years ago.

    Now if you say aren’t  one of those people and yet you make common cause with them don’t be surprised if we get confused.

    I’m sure there are one or two of you out there who are genuinely worried about the undocumented worker problem.

  25. Hmm, the markets, despite media comments, don’t look terribly bad. In any case, I don’t see negatives for US enterprises as things unfold. In fact, communal market control will be dropping. That’s a good thing for us. I’m not tempted to sell things that are core holdings based on market timing.

  26. Flatus…  we had a consultation with our financial advisor this past Monday.  He advised us to stay pat and not to panic if Britain did what it just did.  Rick said it was good advice.

    I do feel badly for Britain’s younger generation…  they’ve been screwed over by by the same attitude of old foggies who want to make American great again here.  It’s their equivalent of make England great again.  It’s all about hatred and fear.  Putzes!

On the commercial front Rebuilding America Now Pac is running a series of anti Hillary videos based on Bill’s infidelities.  There is a very big lie in regards to time lines as the things she said about the women were not contemporary with the events and done in private writings to a friend not in public.  Of course, truth never gets in the way of prejudice when it comes to these things.

  37. Ping, your opinion about Hillary being unable to spend enough money to win the presidency is apparently not one universally held by conservatives, or republicans, or whatever the right wing voter calls himself these days.

    In selecting a nominee as inept and erratic as Trump, the GOP likely will lose the Supreme Court and a great many other judicial appointments. At the Supreme Court, in a few years we may pine for the days of incrementalism, when Kennedy wrote the majority opinions, however muddled, rather than a liberal on the court setting new precedent in bold, unambiguous strokes.
