This tracks the messaging that comes from his rally stages from pastors – that God has chosen Trump to battle the Deep State. This is also a ripoff of the ad Casey Desantis made for Ron’s reelection campaign. This also says Trump goes to church on Sundays when he never goes. pic.twitter.com/OFcBsk5w3W
Former President Trump posted this video, which sounds like an AI voiceover parody based on Paul Harvey’s “God made a farmer” monologue, on his Truth Social account on Friday morning.
“God said, I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, fix this country, work all day, fight the Marxists, eat supper, and then go to the Oval Office and stay up past midnight at a meeting of the heads of state. So God made Trump,” it says.
This morning on Truth Social, Trump uploaded a disturbing ad annointing himself a prophet. Make no mistake- God made Trump. As a test. A test these lost Evangelicals are failing terribly.
False prophet Donald Trump must have had a good chuckle this morning over the absurdity at what he can get away with when he posted a ludicrous video on Truth Social called “GOD MADE TRUMP.” (See video below, posted by Ron Filipkowski.)
[…]
As one commenter responded, “God also made Hitler and Manson… not everything He makes turns out well.”
I remember during 2016 campaign he was asked to name his home church, but the Manhattan church he named said they had no records that he was ever a member and no one remembered ever seeing him there. As a kid his mother was a groupie for Norman Vincent Peale who was preacher at a Manhattan church, and she made Trump go. If you know anything about Peale you can see how Trump learned to manipulate with lies, Peale was a master at that.
Maureen Dowd: “Trump portrays himself as Christlike, even as he bedevils America. He put up a video on Truth Social on Friday touting the idea that God created him as a caretaker and “shepherd to mankind.”A narrator intones: “God said, ‘I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, fix this country, work all day, fight the Marxists, eat supper, then go to the Oval Office and stay past midnight at a meeting of the heads of state, topping off a hard week with Sunday church. So God made Trump.” It was bound to happen: Trump playing divine victim, to pass himself off as Christlike or even hard-working. Both are equally untrue.” Free link…

Yup… we are finally getting some snow. We’re expecting about a foot of the light fluffy variety. It’s easy to deal with…. unlike the crap that Pogo is going to get. Ice on top of any amount of snow is a mess!
The guy has gone over the edge and may actually be hearing voices, which would be echoing in that hollow casaba. I still refuse to believe he is smart enough to come up with all the idiocy he spouts. He can be played like a harmonica, lots of air going in to feed him crap and he mushes it all up and spits it out like a baby.
Do to a power grid that has its ups and downs, I use uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to protect my computers and servers, laptops are a bit different from the desktop units. Last week I had one decide it was done and started sending messages that the battery was disconnected, it lied. So, bought new UPS to replace the old ones which had been in service for many years. I installed the first today and had a pleasant surprise, the software stepped back about twenty years for doing many little things when the power goes out. Over time things like sequenced shutdown went away for simple report the voltages. Yay. Sometimes you want to shut down a server so it stops reading and writing before you shut down the main computer, that way you do not lose data.
My RWZP’s (right-wing zealot peeps) have been saying widely they “do not like him” anymore but he’s the only one who can “save” them. Our task is to persuade them he’s not their ultimate salvation but their eternal damnation. Dislikeable + Damnable = Defeatable.
Trump tells Iowans to ‘get over’ recent school shooting: ‘We have to move forward’
“It’s just horrible, so surprising to see it here,” he added. “But have to get over it, we have to move forward.”
“Rival Nikki Haley…. “We have got to do better. The problem is we don’t have enough mental health therapists,” she said.
“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has focused much on his presidential campaign on Iowa, voiced support for Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) — who endorsed him for 2024 — and local law enforcement following the shooting. He too said the focus should be on mental health.”
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, who signed a law for permitless carry in Iowa.

Trump is not human. “Get over it”? Tell that to the parents who lost their child this week, and to those with a wounded loved one, and to those that ran for their lives out of the school in Perry, Iowa.
I hope the next time something awful happens to SFB, he gets no sympathy and is told to just get over it. Of course, it will have to happen to him because he won’t care if it happens to anyone else.
There was an active shooter prep at a school in North Texas on Thursday. School was still out, so they closed streets and pretended there was a worse-case scenario. How long before it’s not pretend?

Republican polling leader Donald Trump did not sign a loyalty oath requested of candidates for election in Illinois that asks, among other things, to swear that they won’t support overthrowing the government, according to an analysis of candidate petitions by the local news outlets WBEZ and Chicago Sun-Times.
His decision to not sign the pledge came near the third anniversary of the Jan. 6 insurrection. Trump is under indictment for alleged crimes in his efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.
Presidential hopefuls vying for a spot on Illinois’ March 19 primary ballot had to submit their nominating petitions to the State Board of Elections on Thursday or Friday. The loyalty pledge is not required but is a long-standing tradition that candidates undertake as part of that paperwork.
[…]
The loyalty oath dates back to the 1950s McCarthy era, when such pledges became popular among lawmakers fearful about the potential infiltration of communism in the United States. The pledge asks candidates to swear they are not affiliated with communist organizations or any “foreign political agency, party, organization or government which advocates the overthrow of the constitutional government by force.”
The oath remains enshrined in Illinois law but has been struck down as unconstitutional on free speech grounds in federal courts.
Other candidates, including President Biden and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), filed signed oaths along with their petitions, according to thelocal media reports.

Donald Trump mocks Joe Biden over stutter – The Washington Post […] “Did you see him? He was stuttering through the whole thing,” Trump said to a chuckling crowd on Friday in Sioux Center, Iowa. “He’s saying I’m a threat to democracy.” “’He’s a threat to d-d-democracy,’” he continued, pretending to stutter. “Couldn’t read the word.” The remark was not true; Biden said the word “democracy” 29 times in his speech, never stuttering over it. Trump’s comment also marked a particularly crass form of politics that he has exhibited throughout his career that places politeness and human decency at the center of the 2024 presidential election. Biden’s stutter is something that he has talked about openly, referencing it as something he attempted to overcome. He has used it to connect with others who stutter, and he has also spoken about how being made fun of for it gave him a window into dealing with bullies. After a nun at his school gave him a hard time — referring to him as “Mr. Bu-Bu-Bu-Bu-Biden” — his mother drove to the school and confronted her. “If you ever speak to my son like that again, I’ll come back and rip that bonnet off your head,” she said, according to Biden’s memoir. “Do you understand me?” He was called “Dash” and “Joe Impedimenta” by some of his classmates because of the way he stumbled over his words. As a high school freshman, he was exempted from a public speaking presentation because of his stutter. He detailed his battle with stuttering in an article in the Atlantic, and he has talked about the shame and deep humiliation — and how he would rehearse conversations ahead of time so he could say the correct phrases — but also how it gave him lifelong insights. “In our family … we’re never allowed to make fun of anyone, no matter how mean they were to us if they had something they couldn’t overcome,” Biden said in a recent interview with Conan O’Brien where he talked about his stutter. “If you think about it, the only handicap everybody thinks… Read more »
some lincoln project ad person right now must be up to his ears cutting and pasting clips of the loser mispronouncing, misstating and garbling words plus throwing in a few of his ugly mocks of the disabled for good measure.
I know the Lincoln Project is comprised of Republicans who probably love guns, but if they can make a “get over it” ad. Well, I guess if they won’t, Dems will have to do it.
Also, Dems need to do a lot more self-promotion of what the Biden administration has accomplished.
Jamie – Yep. Canada has a housing shortage, and they’re seeing a lot of immigrants, so they don’t need us showing up at the end of the year.
As for Orange Adolf not signing the pledge in Illinois, it’s just weird that this is where he’s decided to draw the line at lying. Maybe he’s lost complete control of his ego and wants to be a dictator out in the open. If that’s the case, let’s hope he really loses his shit with a hot mic and lots of TV cameras.
