  1. Crazy ass weather. 0 here now, high of 14. Wednesday the high is forecast to be 51, starting a 10 day stretch of highs in the 50s and 60s, with sun most days. AST day of ‘22 and first of ‘23 are forecast with highs of 64. Appropriate but highly unusual for the 2nd week after the Solstice, even if it’s just for a week or 2.

Lights – ‘tis the season indeed. Oglebay Park in Wheeling has a couple dozen displays spread over a mile or so – people drive from a hundred and more miles to see it. We took LP to see it once when he was a kid. He liked it.

  2. Lights. From USA Today.

THE LEGENDARY LIGHTS OF HISTORIC CLIFTON MILLClifton, Ohio

The Legendary Lights of Historic Clifton Mill in Clifton, Ohio lights up with over four million lights each holiday season.

    That’s a lotta lights.

  3. Used to be a worn out and bedraggled old polar bear at the Birmingham Zoo who would wave all day long at the visitors so they’d throw him a peanut.   Just sit on his butt and wave.
    Whatta gig.

  4. well I guess we finally got a touch of that “cold” everybody been talkin’ ’bout…….19 F. outside.   sposed to warm up to freezing though at some point.   I remember in Moose Jaw at 40 below, if it warmed up to zero everybody would go outside and play.

  5. All Tacoma is getting is rain with temps in the high 40s.  There was a coating of snow yesterday so black ice is on the streets.  Better to just stay indoors.

  6. patd…   nice post!

Yeah…. it’s cold… but then it’s NH.  We too will be in the 50s by the end of the week.
We were lucky… lost our power for all of 2 minutes yesterday…  just enough to have to reset the clocks… but I ain’t complaining.

Going to see family tonight for Xmas and Rick’s birthday.

  7. The animals made a decision yesterday that today was to be spent in bed, that in spite of the Sun shining.  They can sense cold apparently.  I decided the same thing, but wanted to make biscuits for breakfast.  That over and the dish washer running, it is time to crawl in.

I have been using a CPAP machine for about six weeks.  “Most people adjust in three or four days.”  Lie.  No.  The machine and I have not adjusted. But, it does have some good results.

Now that we are approaching the House being turned over to the anti-Americans we should celebrate the end of the good times. I keep remembering the saying that things reach an extreme and turn around.  I am not seeing that yet, especially with the illegitimate people sitting on what used to be the Supreme Court.

  8. If the kush dumps vanky now that they can’t do him any more good does that mean she’s not jewish anymore?

  9. wonder if javanka’s move to FL was to take advantage of the state’s divorce laws with regard to property and finances.

splitting may also help in the long run when it comes to testifying about his F-ing law and not jeopardizing her & their kids’ inheritance (that is if there’re any $$ left after former guy’s settlement with melania, J6 and tax legal bills, bankruptcy and fines are paid)

  10. I imagine ol’ kush has had enough drumfs to last a lifetime. Wonder how much of their crap he’s had to make sandwiches out of along the way……..  He might even feel like he’s in line for a bit of payback and revenge here and there, judiciously applied.
You just know that he’s got to be a vicious little cannibal.
    lol

  11. I don’t see jarjar leaving inanker and the kids. After all she declined to attend either of his announcements and said no thanks to being involved again. Sounds like it’s daddy Dumbass she’s breaking up with. And jarjar hobknobbing with Arab Muslims – its business. And Elon? The soccer finals were before/same time as his Twitter toy was turning to shit.
