  1. Everytime i read of the untimely death of famous children all i can muster any more is a feeble Vonnegutian, “Poor baby”.
    So it goes.

  2. In the deep red rwnj world of Northeastern – Eastern Virginia there is some type of shift happening regarding sfb.  For one hundred miles of 301 and back roads all, repeat all, sfb signs, flags and whatever are gone.  That covers all the leftovers from twenty-sixteen to twenty-twenty and the new twenty-twenty-four garbage.  There are no replacements.  This is probably under the radar of the political media types because it is off the beaten path.  It takes time to drive the back roads of America, it also requires memory of what was there before.

  3. President Biden spoke out for the first time today about the discovery of classified documents at his private office and residence, and con man George Santos said he’d resign if everyone who voted for him wants him out.

  4. BB – In a destitute, drug-ridden town we drive through in KS, the winter wind was whipping a flag on a dilapidated house. There were many words on the flag, but with the wind, I could only make out SFB’s name which was in larger lettering than the rest of the word salad on the flag.

I love black cats.  We’ll see how I feel about today when it’s over.  Numbers and pretty much everything else, they’re all just made up.

  5. I have an all black cat…  and she’s my baby!

There are still some SFB flags flying around here….  but not as many now.

I bet OldSeaHag loves today…  13 is considered by some as the symbol of strong women.

  6. Long time ago I had a black with white toe tops Burmese -Good neighbor(we think) male.  He was the cats cat.  He hunted for food only.  He was a tough cat and a sweet heart.  He weighed eighteen pounds, which was of some fun because he was not fat or loose skin.  People would try to pick him up and go umpff.  He would come in from hunting rats and things in the swamps, stinking, muddy, and just happy.  I would put of my old field jacket, hard hat, gloves and goggles then into the tub he went.  Most days I just put him on the roof to dry out.  He would line up bunnies or mice in his food box for eating later, he hunted only for food.  His name was LaFeet and he liked beer.

  7. I lived with a cat like that oncet. Feral, became tame-ish.  Orange tabby, one tough monkey.  Liked to bonk foreheads with me.  Knew how to cross the road. Ain’t no way in hell I’d ever try to immerse him in water. Baby named him Rod-chester.

  8. BlueBronc…  my black cat’s brother (they were litter mates) is a male that is 18 lbs…  biggest cat we’ve ever owned.  He’s a sweetheart!  I love to tell people… go ahead, pick him up….  I always laugh at the comments such as… wow… or jeeeesus he’s heavy!

Her name is Mia… was the runt of the litter.  His name is Felix… the only male.  and yes… they are both my babies!

  9. Rittenhouse’s mom used to sing to him that Johnny Cash song, “Take Your Guns to Town, Son”

The Chicken-fried Taliban is at it, again.

“Do you know what it feels like to have a bunch of men in this room looking at your top trying to determine if it’s appropriate or not?” Democratic state Rep. Ashley Aune proclaimed from the House floor.”

“Republicans altered their amendment to include cardigans after Democratic state Rep. Raychel Proudie criticized the impact requiring blazers could have on pregnant women.”
