  1. back to the future with more AI

  2. so who needs writers, artists, musicians, creators or imagination now that there’s AI to relive our past entertainments  for us?

example why that might be a really really bad idea

Nothing, Forever is a show about nothing, that happens forever. Kinda like popular sitcoms of the past, except that it never stops. Nothing, Forever is always-on, runs 365 days of the year, and delivers new content every minute. Everything you see, hear, or experience (with the exception of the artwork and laugh track) is always brand new content, generated via machine learning and AI algorithms. DISCLAIMER: Much of our generative content is provided through OpenAI’s GPT-3 and does not reflect views held by the creators of Nothing, Forever.

  3. This is why I’m happy Christie in the race. He’s gonna be great for Dem TV ads in the general.

“The grift from his family is breathtaking. It’s breathtaking. Jared Kushner & Ivanka Kushner walk out of White House and months later get $2 billion from the Saudis? $2 billion from Saudis. Do you think it was because he’s some kind of investing genius?”

  4. LP latest ads

You gave your associates your trust, and they gave you away to the Feds. Just like we knew they would. Happy Birthday, we hope you have exactly the kind of day you deserve.

Republicans fight with feelings, Democrats fight with facts.

How to cover Donald Trump in 2023? Don’t.

  5. LP ad got to him. Ha!
An ad with a target audience of one, and now it’s living in his head 24/7, exacerbating his paranoia.
    Deity-of-your-choice bless y’all, LP.

  6. https://thehill.com/policy/defense/4053455-putin-says-russia-has-sent-first-nuclear-weapons-to-belarus/

“Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday said Russia has sent the first nuclear weapons to Belarus as part of a plan to deploy tactical nuclear bombs in the country bordering Ukraine.”

“Putin said the rest of the nuclear weapons would be delivered by the end of the summer.”

“The weapons Moscow is transferring are short-range tactical nuclear weapons, which have a shorter range and lower yield than nuclear warheads fitted to ballistic missiles — but are still capable of immense damage far exceeding the bombs dropped over Hiroshima, Japan, in World War II.”

“The U.S. also deploys tactical nuclear weapons abroad, including about 100 nuclear gravity bombs stationed in Europe.”

  7. Today marks the one-year anniversary of the fatal shootings at St. Stephen’s Church in Cahaba Heights, AL. I spent many hours in the rooms of this church (mostly the basement) but also the hall where the terrible event happened. Another lesson that these events can and do strike close when you least expect it. A big chunk of my heart is still there and with my friends who are still coping with this loss. I will definitely visit the memorial when I get back “home.”

    https://vestaviavoice.com/news/saint-stephens-building-memorial-labyrinth/

“A memorial labyrinth, which will be accessible from the church’s back parking lot, will be built, said the Rev. John Burruss, rector at Saint Stephen’s. The labyrinth will pay tribute to Bart Rainey, Sharon Yeager and Jane Pounds, the three victims of last summer’s shooting during a potluck dinner.”

  8. Ivy, the guy who tackled the shooter is an old paddling buddy of mine.  We used to teach canoeing on the Little Cahaba when we were both much younger than we are now.

  9. Pogo, Birmingham is such a small world. Everyone is connected. It takes a while to plug-in, but once you do, you’re in and you never let go.

  10. Pogo, I don’t know if you saw that guy’s mug shot but it’s the worst I’ve ever seen. Your buddy must’ve done a number on him.

I used to drive past the shooter’s “hovel” (the only way to describe it) every day. It gave me chills then and would more now. I heard the man’s family was instrumental in getting him to plead guilty, sparing the families and community the ordeal of a trial.

  11. I did see it.  He (Jim) hit him (the shooter) in the face with a chair before he tackled him.  I guess that changes the BS from “good guy with a gun” to “good guy with a chair”.

  12. https://www.newsweek.com/republicans-plan-cut-free-school-lunches-1807361

“Republicans Plan to Cut Free School Lunches”

“According to the U.S. Census Bureau, food insecurity nationwide fell by about 7 percentage points from the start of the pandemic to 14.2 percent by the end of the summer of 2021, a sign the U.S. Census Bureau claimed was a direct result of expanded school lunch programs.”

“The decision comes on the heels of the sunset of a widespread expansion of free school lunch programs during the COVID-19 pandemic, a policy decision the federal government said actively proved to reduce childhood hunger.”

Another plank in the GQP plan to create civil unrest and seize power.

    No more freedom
    No more books
Just guns and hunger, the way it looks

“As Texas swelters, local rules requiring water breaks for construction workers will soon be nullified”

“Gov. Greg Abbott approved this week a law that will eliminate city and county ordinances like Austin and Dallas’ mandated water breaks. Texas is one of the states where most workers die from high temperatures.”

“This problem particularly affects Latinos because they represent six out of every 10 construction workers, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.”
