    What horrible thing have Donald J. tRUMP, Vlad Poo-tin, Stephen Miller, and, AG Barr contrived to keep power?
    I hope my right-wing relatives in California are in the minority and are just spitting into the wind.   It’s interesting to hear that LP ads are playing on Faux Noise because they don’t seem to have taken hold with my relatives.

    Now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way.  Leave the WH peacefully or in handcuffs.

    I would suspect that once QEII dies, the UK will no longer be the UK.  It will become as it has all over the former countries of the Empire, a group of allied countries in some fashion.

    In fact, once she goes, I expect most living memory of WW II will go with her.  I was born in 1944 and just have the earliest memories up to age five living in family barracks with the aftermath of the War.  The country has gone from 140 million to 330 million.   The changes to society in that period of time have been monumental.  Some of those I like.  Some of those, I definitely do not.

Poobah, no kidding.  My first thought (before I knew of the ABC town hall for Biden) was WTF is this?  When I learned that there was a Biden town hall to compete, my thought was WTF is this?  And they have Savannah Guthrie moderating on the NBS presentation – not exactly a skilled questioner.  She may have a legal background, but what I’ve seen doesn’t suggest she was any good at it.  
     
    Here’s my question – does the average viewer tune in to see Biden or Trump?  It’s network TV and Biden will answer questions from the participants & D’ump will put on a show. D’umbass wil be crowing about ratings Friday morning.

  52. Bill Huizenga (R), who represents my county, and is running for re-election to Congress, was supposed to attend a rally with Pence today in West Michigan. Therefore, he had to get tested for the virus. He tested positive. Trumpy is stopping in Muskegon this Saturday. Which is about 30-35 minutes from here. They should drive him by the beach. I saw a sign across from the beach last week that said: Don’t drink the Clorox! Vote Democratic!

    In the pantheon of Republican pseudo-scandals, “unmasking” has always been one of the dumbest. National security officials routinely ask the intelligence community to “unmask” names that have been redacted in raw reports so they can get a better idea of who’s doing what to whom, and the Obama administration did this just like every other administration. Republicans, however, have insisted for years that Susan Rice and others used unmasking requests as cover for a campaign against Michael Flynn, and naturally they demanded an investigation. Just as naturally, Bill Barr gave them what they wanted.
    Sadly for Republicans, the investigation turned up nothing. That’s not surprising, and neither is this:
    Bash’s team was focused not just on unmasking, but also on whether Obama-era officials provided information to reporters, according to people familiar with the probe, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive investigation. But the findings ultimately turned over to Barr fell short of what Trump and others might have hoped, and the attorney general’s office elected not to release them publicly, the people familiar with the matter said. The Washington Post was unable to review the full results of what Bash found.
    The investigation basically exonerated the Obama team and probably would have hurt Donald Trump’s reelection, so Barr decided to keep it under wraps. This is how the Justice Department works these days: it’s a PR shop for Donald Trump, not an independent agency serving the best interests of the American public. Hopefully that will change in a few months.

    Yesterday the lines were very long at 2 places. I got there this morning at 7:30. Poll opened at 8.  About 30 folks in front of me. The line did move quickly even though there was no straight ticket voting.
