  1. Message from @RealDonaldTrump to @RealVladimirPutin

Hi Vlad, it’s Donald. Hey listen, Melania and I were talking last night and we can’t really remember some of the details from our little chat with you last November…

…and want to refresh our memories. Think you could have that interpreter who was there with us give me a call?  Let me know. Thanks.

Ivana Trump – Donald Trump’s First Wife
The President’s first wife, Ivana, is originally from Gottwaldov (Moravia), in the Czech Republic. Ivana is multilingual, speaking five languages including English, Czech, and Russian. The pair married in 1977,  and had three children, before their divorce in 1992.
    Donald Trump Jr
The eldest son of the president, Donald Trump Jnr is multilingual. He speaks three languages. English is his mother tongue. He speaks French, which he learned at school, and he is fluent in Czech, his mother’s native language. Donald Jr spent a lot of time with his maternal grandparents, who lived with their family while he was young, six months out of a year. He also spent many
Summers in Prague with his grandfather fishing and boating.

    Ivanka Trump

The president’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, speaks English, and  French which she learned at school. Unlike her older brother Donald Jr who speaks Czech fluently, she knows only a few words.  “I speak Czech poorly… I seem to only know the curse words! @DonaldJTrumpJr is fluent though!” she tweeted back in 2010.

  3. wapo’s fix  has a good article for all you wonky etymologists out there:
A big Trump case hinges on the definition of ‘emoluments.’ A new study has bad news for him.

  4. Flatus…  please stay safe.
    patd….  thanks for helping him.

Bink….  you rant all you want.  I saw that post that I’m assuming you deleted.  Were you afraid someone would come knocking at your door….   it was spot on!

    A threesome….   what a thought for naughty minds….

  5. Good heavens, Mr Flatus, I hope you are all right. After a couple of incidents like that, I’d be inclined to sit before swallowing.

  6. Dad’s big move is Friday. And Toby is spending tonight and tomorrow with a sweet retired hairdresser who is very interested in adopting her. Her Corgi of 12 years died 5 months ago and she is ready for another dog.

  7. We all have our fingers crossed for Toby and her potential new companion.
And Flatus  until you know for sure –I still think bubble wrap is the way to go.
And I hope you have discussed this with your doctor.  There are a bunch of things that can cause you to faint
a big help to your doctor is if you can reconstruct the times that it has happened Most of the things that cause
fainting are not necessariy serious — so make that appointment today.

  8. Here’s to Toby and that nice lady bonding.  Selling your childhood home isn’t easy.  I did it in my late 20s.  And due to circumstances, I also had to sell the house my parent lived in the last 30 yrs of their lives.  I feel for you Craig.

  9. Yes, RR- not sure if it was “protected speech”, although i’ve read worse, here.
It’s all moot, the USA is a failed state and its Constitution is a lie.  Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em!

  10. Yeah, I’ve read worse here, too. I have probably written worse.
Meanwhile, I feel like hibernating this afternoon.
    Oh, ya. Smoke ’em ALL.
(that oughta bring a knock on my door)

  11. craig, you know she’s found her new home if she looks like this tomorrow

best wishes for both dad and toby in their new lease on life going forth to new worlds and hearts to conquer this weekend

  12. reminiscent of when v.p. dan quayle conflated to reality the unreal murphy brown pregnancy.  the twit is watching too many movies me thinks.  so does Rachel it looks like at 1:12 – 4:24 minutes in the vid below.

Rachel Maddow runs through some of the many open questions about the Donald Trump administration and national security, from Trump’s cinematic justifications for a border crisis to assessments of worldwide threats.

  13. Remember when the silos appeared, I barely do.  The last two days have a few of those poking up from the cesspool.  One is the intelligence community, made up of professionals who do their best using combinations of tools, some human.  Another is Putin, KGB agent and head of Russia and the Russian IC.  Another is SFB, Russian agent.  And another is SFB U.S. president (illegitimate).

You can see how each of these silos operates separately from each other.  But, these two days shine the light on hard links between SFB Russian Agent, SFB president and Putin KGB agent.  A hard link is Putin and SFB meet without U.S. people present and almost immediately SFB declares victory and pulls out of Syria.  So hard links between three silos.  Another soft light might be between the IC silo and the Putin head of IC silo.  Intelligence might be human or electronic, but it sounds like the American silo might have info about what is in the Putin IC silo.  That SFB is denigrating the American IC and spouting Russian (Putin) propaganda further highlights the hard link between the SFB Russian agent and Putin IC head silos.

Is this not a fun exercise?  I find doing this a good way of unraveling the mass of spaghetti strands.

  15. x-r,  4 F  outside my old Kentucky home last night

The sun won’t shine on my old Kentucky home,
    Tis winter, the worse,  people say;
The corn crop’s gone and the meadow’s all agloom
And  the birds flew south the other day.
