A national party nominee referencing violence against his foe is unforgivable. He does not deserve the debate stage. Further, this: “ISIS is honoring President Obama,” Trump said during a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. “He’s the founder of ISIS. He founded ISIS. I would say the co-founder would be ‘Crooked’ Hillary Clinton.”

Seriously, this man is inciting violence. We are in a dangerous place.

Meanwhile, Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills have to go.
Recently released emails demonstrate these two crossed the line. Both are snake bit, have been for a long time. Time for them to head for the graveyard that is littered with Clinton lap dogs.

Hurts like hell but eventually heals & saves the host. Chalk this up to being Scandal # Eleventy Billion & move on to saving the world from the Republican Nominee. Might actually be looked at as a positive: acting decisively; making a statement, hauling the trash out to the curb.

    Interesting thing I saw in the email is that giving 3 million dollars to the Clinton foundation gives you squat for access, You still have to  pay a friend of a friend  to make a phone call.

    And what did it accomplish? Just “I’ll let them know you are interested”.  damn close to a brush off, a very polite one.

    And this is for a major Construction company in the area who may have a number of reasons to talk to the Ambassador of Lebanon.

    Looks to me like she was  doing her job. Which in this case was easing the hustler on out the door without offending him. Cause she really didn’t promise much.

  12. Huma Abedin and Hillary Clinton have a bond of total respect and understanding one for the other. For Hillary, senior service is unbearable without sharing one’s burdens with such an individual. For Huma, I believe it is an honor to serve with such a wonderful woman. No buses permitted in this neighborhood.

Jack, the distortions over the emails is now ridiculous.  As you pointed out in the prior thread, even Comey admitted that only 3 of the email chains contained anything that had any kind of designation, and that even those 3 had not been marked classified when they were received, but that they did have a “c” designation in the body of the email, indicating they were confidential  They may have been classified after that but they weren’t at the time.

    Thank you for the above posts.  The Clintons could hire a window washer and the right wing would be “Just Asking” who they were and why were they there followed by a string of books filled with accusations and suppositions all leading to an enquiry at the Federal level courtesy of Judicial Watch FOIA requests.  All of this would be swallowed whole and echoed throughout social media.

    In the latest brouhaha, someone sent a resume to someone whose name they had who passed it off to someone else who passed it off to someone else.  At that rate of nefarious dealings no one will ever be able to apply for a job in government ever again.

Let’s understand the “level” of portion markings.  I am writing an engineering manual about cleaning tube worms off of Navy Sonar domes and go to the library or Wikipedia to get a picture and description of the worm.  This is then included in the manual which is classified because of description of the sonar equipment.

    At a later date someone needs a description of the worms and extracts it from my original manual for inclusion in their work and gives it a “portion marking” indicating it is from a classified document or might become classified at some point.

    It is the same picture of the tube worm generally available all over the place and you all could now be hauled before Congress and asked why you know about my tube worms.  Sorry about that.

    That is the type of “classified” material found in the Clinton emails.

    I get your comment, respect it, but I’m not a member of the Democratic Party. I’m standing outside looking in at the overall picture. If Secretary Clinton says “I stand by my Staffers”, great. But do something… letting stuff fester gives it longer legs. And as unfair as that seems, it is the world we live in.  I support the Secretary’s candidacy because she is sane, intelligent & the alternative is unthinkable. I don’t want unnecessary roadblocks in her way. I want her to win.

Is there anyone here who doesn’t think that people in any sort of high profile positions aren’t constantly bombarded with requests or suggestions for making connections with other people in high profile positions or with someone who may have friends in high places? Seriously, how did we ever elect a President before the 24/7 scrutiny of the minutia of a person’s life? To the people who have devoted so much effort to the take-down of HRC: If the worst thing you can prove (using the term loosely) about a candidate is that she made poor choices regarding her use of personal email and may have staff people who don’t always use the best judgment, after years of scrutiny and spending millions of dollars, I’d say don’t quit your day job! If this is your day job, it’s time to find another line of work.

    Re DT: How is it possible that a dangerous, racist moron who is most likely suffering from mental illness (at the very least severe narcissism) can imply that a President should be targeted by “the second amendment people” and not be charged with a crime? I say President because if HRC is appointing justices to the Supreme Court then that assumes that she is already a sitting President. There is no precedent or excuse for what is happening in our country right now!

Clinton is loyal to a fault.   Perhaps, we need to demand body cams of all of our public servants.  Listen-in to every detail.  I am more interested in the source of this eternal leak of Clinton info…none of us could withstand this sort of purity search in our personal or public lives. It matters to me that most of this info comes from unfriendly foreign sources who want to disrupt out political system.   Repeating the same ridiculous mantra while ignoring the fact that the fingers of putin are in our system and the extremists on both ends want us to bow to his info.     I looked at the ALEC annual report which included their program and contributions and I didn’t see the problem with AARP making the token contribution that they provided. IMO it’s better having the opportunity to modify or at least learn the specific policies of organizations such as ALEC from the inside so that the broader interests of members’ (in this case AARP members) can be served. The cost of doing this in the case of ALEC amounted to less than one penny for each AARP member. In exchange, our organization gained knowledge about what was going on in every state house in the country–invaluable.

  56. Whenever anyone talks about health insurance, I commend what I have–Medicare Parts A&B supplemented by Tricare for Life. I pay the normal Medicare premium, Tricare (DoD) pays the deductibles. Zero out of pocket beyond the predictable monthly Medicare deduction from my paycheck. Requires being over 65 along with a career in the military or the unremarried surviving spouse of a careerist.

The one thing I didn’t hear unless I missed it was the Earned Income Tax Credit which is usually the one element that can get a low income family with children off of welfare and into the work force.  If combined with a child care rebate (rather than deduction) and apprentice/retrain program that was mentioned, it would be a massive savings to counties and a big boost to the economy because that money would do an immediate turnaround rather than being hoarded.

Jamie, very good explaination of the weirdness of the classification system.  My addition is that if I told people what they were to create or build and gave them the document to do it, that was not classified when I was at a certain location.  However, inside the magic wall if I did the same to those who were inside the magic wall it was highly classified.  The dichotomy had to exist, the contractors only knew what they had to do.  Only certain staff had to know what the contractors were doing. Even those who were inside the magic wall were not knowledgeable of what happened outside the magic wall.  It is called compartmentalization.  You only know what is necessary for you to do your job.  That people had highly classified information in their hands was not the key.  It was when that knowledge was combined with something else was there enough information to understand that piece of the puzzle.

  69. without a cooperative congress, what does it matter what a candidate promises particularly with regard to taxes?  it makes more sense to hear what the individual congressional candidates are promising.  currently we have 2 presidential candidates who have less than a great relationship or following in the house from whence tax legislation must come.

    As you can probably tell, I was working for a Contractor as the editor in charge of the Naval Ships’ Technical Manual.  Pretty low level stuff.  Other duties were with the engineers waaaay waaaay waaay over on the other side of the building helping them write in English instead of engineereze.
