   For more than a year, the Golden Gate Bridge has been making an ethereal humming sound on windy days that has aggravated neighbors, charmed fans and sparked countless jokes.

   Now the strange noise, which has been described as akin to both a wheezing kazoo and a ghostly chant, has inspired its own album.

   This week Los Angeles guitarist and songwriter Nate Mercereau released a series of duets that utilize the bridge’s din as a backing track. Mercereau, a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, teamed up with Bay Area sound engineer Zach Parkes to record four tracks, layering the sounds the bridge makes in high winds with haunting melodies from Mercereau’s guitar synthesizer.

   The project, titled Duets | Golden Gate, also included a video of him improvising the instrumental tracks with wind at his face and the bridge humming in the background.

    -trials for a 3rd booster have been underway for a while
     
    -T-cells in bone marrow retain some sort of immune response to C-19 after vaccination and begin producing anti-bodies upon subsequent infection, even if antibodies aren’t detected by blood tests (supposedly)

    (i think you’re being a bit overcautious if you’re fully vaccinated but conducting yourself like you’re not- you are 99.5% protected against hospitalization and 99.9% protected against c-19 induced death)

    ((that means out of 1000 fully vaccinated people who contract c-19, 5 might require hospitalization and 1 might die of it, those are common flu stats🤷‍♂️))

To conclude, if you’re fully-vaccinated and still practicing best-protocol, you’re doing it to protect vulnerable community members (whether you realize it, or not) but everybody in your community has access to free vaccination at this point, so how many hoops do you want to jump through for people who will jump through none for you?  That’s a personal judgment.

    My attitude towards those unwilling to vaccinate:  If the die they die.  Do it at home.

    Leave the hospitals to the under 12s, those with underlying conditions, and break through vaccinators who have still become seriously ill.

    Rogers demanded on June 15 that the 2020 presidential election in Arizona be re-run. She based this on the election audit in the state’s Maricopa County, which has been criticized for pursuing conspiracy theories such as searching for bamboo fibers in ballots based on the idea that some 40,000 ballots were shipped in from Asia.
     
    On Friday, Rogers sent a short tweet that appeared to reference a variety of issues, including so-called “cancel culture” and the removal of statues.

21. “How protected am I against delta if fully-vaccinated” is the question on everyone’s lips, so here’s what i think i know:
     
    the “Israeli study” found Pfizer to be only 39% effective against infection, but 90% against severe infection, with most cases being asymptomatic.  Not great, But:
     
    …couple that with responsible practices that reduce the viral load acquired, like masks, distancing, and avoiding crowded areas, and you can live a life, as my family and i are doing, we all work, socialize limitedly and responsibly, travel, and i don’t believe we have yet been infected, although it seems delta is going to be unavoidable- that’s why we got vaccinated🤷‍♂️
     
    i’ll do anything outdoors without a mask, even around people, except very large groups like protests and concerts, but outdoor transmission, according to available information (from what i’ve read), is very rare.  i am avoiding indoor concerts, conventions, sporting events, and the like.  i’ll dine al fresco at a restaurant but never inside.  i shop off-peak if i can, still wear a mask, but am not terrified of large, high-ceiling retail environments, because as i’ve said, i’ve seen no evidence of large outbreaks within them (if you have any, feel free to share).
     
    Fully-vaxxed guests are welcome in the home and we all conduct ourselves normally
     
    Oh, since i am male and a possibly a little intimidating-looking to some, i make an effort to only use my mask when necessary and try and show my face before entering a public building

63. The summer of 70′   in Colorado  was pretty amazing .  We changed the state. 
     
    Us and the real estate  developers.  In the end they won . 
    But we set a new course for a new idea, about how to live there. 

64. In the summer of 70′  there was no I-70 tunnel . You had to cross Loveland Pass to get to Vail , on a two lane road that was over 11,000 feet . That had kept the jackasses  out of the West Slope for ever.  Once they opened the tunnel , and plugged an Interstate into it. 
     
    It was one of the great sins  man ever did to the Rockies. 

65. The rich came and bought up everything.  This is why you can’t  live in these towns.  And they can’t find the help to clean their toilets. 
    It hit Santa Fe first , only their deep cultural roots.  Blunted  the invasion .
