  1. “Flotus shout out” means Joe mentions Jill

i like “Republicans boo good thing” 😆

  2. MAGA hat mtg.   WTF is she heckling him about already? She is such trash. Was she screaming to be heard? Do we get a bingo square already?

  3. CBS anchor just went into a whole spiel about Biden’s memory, said nothing about last guy’s daily incoherent ramblings

  4. I’m playing “I’m Crushing Your Head” with my pointer finger and thumb every time MAGAt Mike makes his  constipated  face.

  5. Give Biden a second term with a Dem Congress to codify Roe, then expand SCOTUS and pack the court.

  6. MAGAt Mike should’ve given the memo to his face about showing decorum.  Making faces when you’re on camera ALL the time is worse than an occasional boo from mtg.

  7. It isn’t “packing” to make Supreme equal to appellate districts.  It’s just affirming why the nine seats were set.  4 or 5 more justices could be spread over Presidential elections.

  8. Why would Mike shake his head no to “making infrastructure better” and “making sure kids don’t have to drink poisoned water?”

  9. Report on X: “Trump hyped up that he’d be doing live responses to Biden throughout the SOTU speech on Truth Social, but the platform appears to have crashed.”

  10. I’m wondering if the super glue on the seats on the repug side of the chamber has a 30 minute half life so they can stand to leave when Joe does.

  11. At times, Mikey is actually nodding his head yes as if in agreement with what he is hearing ….. I bet this is going to make Mr. T really really angry

  12. We all come from somewhere but we are all Americans.
We can fight about fixing the border or we can fix it.

    GREAT LINES

  13. Mike doesn’t think the federal minimum wage needs to be raised.  He doesn’t even have a bank account.

  14. This is the best the right wing bomb squad can do …

    Ari Fleischer
    @AriFleischer
No one is going to remember a single thing Biden says tonight.  Everyone is going to remember how weirdly amped up he is and how bizarrely fast he’s speaking.

  15. https://www.pnas.org/doi/full/10.1073/pnas.2014704117
“Relative to native-born citizens and legal immigrants, undocumented immigrants have the lowest felony arrest rates across all four crime types. For violent, property, and drug offenses, legal immigrants occupy a middle position between undocumented immigrants and US-born citizens.”

“ The gaps between native-born citizens and undocumented immigrants are substantial: US-born citizens are over 2 times more likely to be arrested for violent crimes, 2.5 times more likely to be arrested for drug crimes, and over 4 times more likely to be arrested for property crimes.”

  16. Bink, nice point.
Joe needs to close. He’s hit the high points. Close strong and leave.
btw, Ari Fleischer was an irrelevant prick when he was in the WH. Now?  WTF is he?

  17. Thank you BlueInDallas for pointing that out …. I was so hoping that he would have followed the “saying her name” thing —- and I really wish he hadn’t done that b/c it gives MTG bragging rights about getting the President to do that —- with something in his speech like “but folks we really need to recognize that it is not the “legal” or “illegal” status of a person in this country that has any bearing on his/her propensity to commit a violent act.  In fact, there is a much greater likelihood that when a violent or property crime is committed that the criminal is a US citizen and not an undocumented immigrant.  So what we should be focusing our efforts and energies on is how to tackle and eliminate the underlying issues that increase the likelihood that a person growing up in the country will engage in criminal conduct as an adult, those being growing up in poverty, growing up without adequate access to educational opportunities or health care, including and in particular mental health care services, growing up without supervision b/c of a parent not being able to afford quality child care but having to work …. so let’s focus on tackling those problems instead of pretending that but for having undocumented immigrants in this country we would have no violent or property crimes …..

JUST a few rambling thoughts of mine!!

  18. “We’ve never lived up to [all are created equal] but we’ve never walked away from it either”

    good line

  19. His voice sounded stronger, but he needs to keep it going.

Throat spray and a nebulizer, just like singers use, and Alexander Technique to strengthen it in the long term.

And, the secret sauce, Panera caffeine-ade! LoL

  20. Biden needs to get the merch store updated.  I need a tee that reads:
    JOEvember
    ROEvember
    NOVember

  21. The Republicans are letting a pre-k teacher give the rebuttal?   The exaggerated voice. I’m laughing so hard I can barely type.

OMG, SNL is going to have so much fun with her.

  22. America’s Reaganesque Mom: How to Praise Katie Britt, Even Before She Speaks

Talking points from the Alabama senator’s team, helpfully sent out before the State of the Union address, suggested how to extol her delivery of the Republican response.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/07/us/politics/katie-britt-talking-points-influencers.html?smid=url-share

    From the HQ
    – Call her “America’s mom”
    – Compare her to Reagan – his Berlin speech + Shining City on a Hill
    – Contrast her with Biden on age and “relatability”

  23. Spreading propaganda through the likes of Tik Tok ….. how horrid!!  Everybody knows that  Fox and Truth Social are supposed to have the exclusive rights to that job …..

  24. Not what I would call a good choice to rebut that message from Joe. Put the youngest Senator up against the President?  Who thought that was a good idea?

  25. How Lester and Nicole maintained a straight face and didn’t burst out laughing when she was coming to an end and they were on the split screen when she was finishing up, I don’t know!!!

  26. Joe stumbling over words was more coherent than a very articulate 40 year old mom

    good job, Alabama 🤦‍♂️ ✌️ 🇺🇸

shouter is a plant to try and stir up benghazi 2.0

  27. Her speech rang hollow with me. You know why. That’s all I’m going to say about it.

    Except Richard Shelby.

  28. Biden staring down SCOTUS and essentially implying they’ve become a political body is the stand-out moment for me 😮

  29. It sounds like the representative from Stepford, Alabama is on tRUMPsky’s VP list. She would serve with a rapist?

  30. Heheheh. WaPo.

Judge denies Trump bid to delay paying $83 million judgment in Carroll case

A federal judge on Thursday rejected a request by Donald Trump to delay enforcement of the $83.3 million judgmenthe owes writer E. Jean Carroll, meaning Trumphas until Monday to post a bond or put up cash in the case.

The former president and likely 2024 Republican White House nominee has sought to postpone payments on the significant penalties he owes following two recent courtroom losses in New York, which could leave him facing a severe cash crunch.

A jury in January ordered Trump to pay Carroll the $83 million for defaming her, and a separate civil fraud trial concluded last month with a judge ordering him to pay penalties totaling at least $450 million.

The judgment in the Carroll case becomes final Monday, and to keep it from being enforced amid appeals, Trump must put up money in cash or bonds. Attorneys for Trump have filed a motion to delay the judgment while he appeals it or at least allow him to post a bond that is “a fraction of the amount of the judgment.”

Trump’s attorneys on Wednesday filed a request to postpone any payment of the Carroll judgment until three business days after the court rules on the motion. Making Trump post a bond “or other security” before the court rules on the stay motion “threatens to impose irreparable injury in the form of substantial costs (which may or may not be recoverable),” they wrote.

U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who oversaw the Carroll case, denied this request late Thursday afternoon. In a brief order, Kaplan was dismissive of Trump’s claims about incurring costs, writing that his side had not shown what expenses he might incur if he had to post a bond.
    […]

Dumbass’ lawyers continue their brilliant work in Judge Kaplan’s courtroom. BTW, at least in WV, monetary losses are not considered irreparable losses serving as a basis for even a temporary injunction, particularly because they “may or may not be recoverable…” 🙄
