    Trump reportedly dismissed the concerns, claiming he “will never get the Hispanic vote.”

    “Like the blacks, they’re too stupid to vote for Trump. They’re not my people,” Trump said, according to Cohen.

    I suppose the actor who role played Obama for tRUMPsy had to sign an an NDA.  But wait, there’s an overhead mic in that picture.  Could there be audio?   I don’t think it’s unusual to role play to prepare for a debate, but tRUMP never had to debate Obama.  So, what was the point of this exercise?  For Orange Julius to get his jollies by belittling an actor pretending to be Obama?
    Honestly, tRUMP is a nut job and, as Dan Rather noted, you can’t vote twice, but you can impeach the bastard twice. 
    Still praying for that lighting storm on the links, with crime family in tow.   Hopefully, the sinking of the tRUMP boat brigada was just a warm-up for what’s to come.

    In this case, it was the Atlantic’s blockbuster report that President Trump had made disparaging remarks about veterans.     Other beat reporters had confirmed aspects of the Atlantic story, too. But the fact that Griffin works for Fox, whose opinion hosts and corporate owners are seen as reliable supporters and defenders of the president, turned her revelations into a watershed development.     A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to temporarily stop efforts to wind down the collection of data and processing of timelines for the 2020 Census. 
    U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh issued a temporary restraining order late Saturday blocking Trump administration officials, including Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, from implementing plans that would shorten census efforts, including “winding down or altering any Census field operations.”
    The restraining order was filed in response to a legal motion from a coalition civil rights and advocacy groups that claimed such plans would illegally impact the accuracy of the Census data and possibly inflict harm on certain communities as a result. The Census helps determine federal funding levels for state and local governments. 
    The restraining order will remain in effect until Sept. 17, when a court hears a separate motion for a stay and preliminary injunction.

    No other country looks as bad by this measure. The U.S. accounts for 4 percent of the world’s population, and for 22 percent of confirmed Covid-19 deaths. It is one of the many signs that the Trump administration has done a poorer job of controlling the virus than dozens of other governments around the world.

    are those estimated 145,000 avoidable deaths not just casualties caused by ineptness, stupendous stupidity and lack of compassion OR are they victims of a strange new form of warfare?  could D’ump indeed be in cahoots with (or the useful idiot of) an old time adversary bent on destroying this country?
