There’s joy among the ICE tonight,
Trump’s Death Squad scored another kill!
They are not brave, they are not bright,
but they have weapons and the will
    to shoot their fellow countrymen,
to end their lives with leaden hail.
While protestors plead, “Leave our home”
they find it is to no avail.

There’s joy among the ICE tonight.
Their Meal-Team Six has made a score.
They’d killed only a few so far
    and Greg Bovino wanted more.
    His massive insecurity
    demanded human sacrifice
and just a mother in her car
to him would simply not suffice.

There’s joy among the ICE tonight
They sing their NAZI hymns aloud,
“By God, We’ll have our home again!
We’re insecure and armed and proud.”
    And irony of ironies
a good many profess to be
    pro-life, pro-Jesus, and of course,
they claim to be pro family.

  3. by the bye, in case you didn’t prep beforehand (like I did in forgetting to buy de-icer spray) and you’re confronted this morning with a frozen gate, lock or just an ice-covered windshield, not to worry for here’s copilot’s advice:

You can easily make a homemade de-icer spray using rubbing alcohol, water, and dish soap, which effectively melts ice on your car windows.
    Ingredients
Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl Alcohol): Use 70% or higher for best results.
    Water: To dilute the alcohol.
Dish Soap: A few drops to help the solution spread evenly.
    Recipe
Mix the Ingredients: In a spray bottle, combine two parts rubbing alcohol with one part water. For every 2 cups of solution, add ½ teaspoon of liquid dish detergent. Shake well to mix.

Application: Spray the mixture generously onto the icy windshield and windows. Wait for about a minute to allow the solution to soften or melt the ice before scraping it off if necessary.

    Alternative Recipe with Vinegar
If you prefer using vinegar, you can mix three parts white vinegar with one part water. However, vinegar is less effective in very low temperatures and can potentially damage car paint if left on for too long.

    Tips for Use
Preventive Measure: For best results, spray the solution on your windows the night before to prevent ice from forming.

Storage: Store the de-icer spray at room temperature and label the bottle to avoid confusion with other cleaning products.

Frozen Locks: This solution can also be used on frozen car door locks. Spray it on the lock, wait a few seconds, and then insert your key.

This homemade de-icer spray is a cost-effective and efficient way to clear ice from your car windows, ensuring you can drive safely during winter months.

  4. “Make America Great Again, My Ass” is a sharp, unapologetic parody music video that takes aim at the hollow nostalgia behind MAGA politics. While politicians chant about a “better past,” this video highlights the very real ways America is failing people right now — from economic inequality and crumbling infrastructure to culture wars, book bans, and the erosion of basic rights.

Set to biting lyrics and uncomfortable imagery, this parody pulls back the curtain on performative patriotism and exposes the disconnect between political slogans and lived reality. If you’re tired of being told things are “great” while wages stagnate, healthcare collapses, and democracy feels fragile, this one’s for you.

This project isn’t about hating America — it’s about refusing to accept lies, propaganda, and selective memory as patriotism. Real love for a country means holding it accountable.

  10. The other side heard from in my Facebook comments today:

Even bin Laden’s family loved him. Domestic terrorist, insurrectionist, and law violators need be dealt with in a proper manner sometimes that proper manner is lethal force. No one for any reason should be impeding federal law-enforcement officials as they have. When you impede law enforcement, you risk arrest and death. This is just a reality from everything from Traffic stop to more severe violations. I am such a strong advocate of free speech that I was removed from a Jewish organization because I believed in the right of protest for the Nazis. But lawful protests protest with permits protest protected by the police. Not nonsense like this this man turned into a common thug that day. His family should be embarrassed. All evil can hide itself within some kindness. This does not negate evil.

  11. Pretti didn’t impede, an ice thug walked TO him and assaulted him

  15. Isn’t there some amendment or other making it unconstitutional for federal agents to shoot an American citizen to death on an American sidewalk?
Seems like that would be a thing.

  16. Y’all had best be screaming into your phone at every Senator: 202-224-3121 DHS/ICE does NOT need another $10 BILLION on top of the $18 BILLION they already got for 2026.

  17. that gun the ICE shooter is aiming at victim doesn’t look like the same gun DHS id’d with pic on car seat as the victim’s gun. ????

  18. Hey, Google, is it cowardly to shoot an incapacitated person on the ground in the back?

Shooting an incapacitated person on the ground, especially in the back, is widely considered an act of extreme cowardice and is classified as a grave violation under the rules of war. It is both a moral and legal transgression, recognized as a war crime under international law.
This action is considered a violation of the Geneva Conventions, which protect individuals who are no longer actively participating in hostilities (known as hors de combat), including wounded or surrendered persons. The deliberate killing of such individuals is prohibited and subject to prosecution as a war crime.
In virtually all legal and ethical systems, this act is seen as the antithesis of bravery, as it involves the use of lethal force against someone who poses no threat and cannot defend themselves.

  24. https://paulkrugman.substack.com/p/the-heritage-foundation-shows-how

“It turns out that even at a fundamentally corrupt institution like Heritage there are lines you can’t cross. Suddenly, Heritage is experiencing a mass exodus of staff. In the latest wave of departures, more than a dozen staffers left to join an organization led by former Vice President Mike Pence. Heritage is, essentially, losing everyone who is even marginally competent or has any kind of reputation to protect.“

“But MAGA’s rule may not last forever. Indeed, while I may be making too much of the demise of one organization, I see Heritage’s fall as a preview of how MAGA as a political movement will eventually implode.”

“For white Christian nationalism — which is now clearly MAGA’s essence — remains very much a minority position.”

“Extremists have been able to gain so much power only thanks to support from ordinary conservatives. In the past it was largely about greed: people who wanted right-wing economic policies promoted Christian nationalists because they thought they could use them. Indeed, the creation of the Heritage Foundation and the creation of the Federalist Society — which stuffed the courts with ultra-religious judges, because secular conservatives had in the past turned moderate once on the bench — were part of the same power grab.”

“Today greed, while still part of the story, has increasingly been supplanted by fear: conservatives who aren’t Christian nationalists, who privately loathe much of what the Trump administration is doing, have become afraid to dissent.”

*Do you know what it’s called when rich, powerful, white men (mostly) don’t dissent because they are afraid? Privilege.

  25. For more clarification: a disarmed and incapacitated American white man was shot on a city street in broad daylight multiple times on the ground in the back at point blank range by a gang of masked men. There are pictures to prove it. That really really really does not look good.

…and then we’ll tell you the same lies as every other time we’ve claimed federal ICE and CBP “officers” have beat up, attacked with chemicals and less than lethal weapons and shot and killed Americans – that the “officers” were acting within their training and were justified in using the excessive force they used to protect the public, federal property and themselves from people exercising their First and Second Amendment rights. If we say the same things over and over we think some of you will believe our bullshit.

  28. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/26/ted-cruz-trump-midterm-elections

Ted Cruz warned Donald Trump, his fellow Republican, that he would face a “bloodbath” in the November midterm elections if prices continued to rise, prompting the president to respond, “fuck you, Ted,” the US senator told donors, according to a secret recording of the private conversation obtained by Axios.

The president was unhappy, Cruz said – and yelled and cursed in a conversation with Republican senators.

“Mr President, if we get to November of [2026] and people’s 401(k)s are down 30% and prices are up 10–20% at the supermarket, we’re going to go into election day, face a bloodbath,” Cruz said he told the president, according to Axios. “You’re going to lose the House, you’re going to lose the Senate, you’re going to spend the next two years being impeached every single week.”

Cruz also reportedly attacked JD Vance in the recordings, tying the vice-president to conservative media figure Tucker Carlson, whom he has accused of trying to thwart the president’s foreign policy agenda.

“Tucker created JD. JD is Tucker’s protégé, and they are one and the same,” Cruz reportedly said. He also accused the vice-president and Carlson of ousting Mike Waltz, the national security adviser, because Waltz supported bombing Iran.

  29. If they are being trained to shoot people in the back, not to mention those disarmed and incapacitated, there is something wrong in their training.

They are not protecting the public, they are protecting themselves.

Alex Pretti was attempting to protect a member of the public.

  30. Renee Good’s murderer had 10 years with ICE.

Alex Pretti’s murderer, if correctly identified, had 8 years with Border Patrol.

This is NOT lack of training, this is a bunch of men who are sick in the soul, working in a system that is rotten to the core, having been green-lighted to be as awful as they want without repercussions. ICE needs to be abolished.

    What could go wrong?

  31. Yep, there is video from California & the ICE N&zis didn’t want to be filmed. One of them told the guy filming them that was going to “make him famous.”

  32. that the “officers” were acting within their training and were justified in using the excessive force they used

I’m just saying, if their defense is centered on their training, their training is bad.

  33. Ivy – Who said this? ‘that the “officers” were acting within their training and were justified in using the excessive force they used

They admitted to excessive force. It’s the system lords claiming justification that’s unleashed this unholy hell.

    No, they don’t.
They also saw Orange Adolf pardon the J6ers and the drug traffickers and other swamp things, so the feel that they can do whatever they want because they have a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Chaos and cruelty to illicit a violent reaction so Orange Adolf can use the Insurrection Act to shut down the country and elections. The training is to use excessive force. It’s a feature, not a bug.

Live Updates: Border Patrol Official Who Led Crackdown Is Expected to Leave Minnesota

Gregory Bovino, who became a target of fierce criticism, is set to be reassigned as President Trump moves to deflect anger over a second fatal shooting. Mr. Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, will now direct ICE operations in the city.

The Trump administration is expected to reassign Gregory Bovino, the official in charge of President Trump’s Border Patrol operations and the face of on-the-ground immigration enforcement in Minneapolis, according to two U.S. officials.

The decision to move him out of the city came two days after he made the unsubstantiated claim that a man who was shot and killed there by federal agents was planning to “massacre” law enforcement officers. Some of the federal agents in the city are also expected to begin leaving on Tuesday, Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis said after a phone call on Monday with President Trump, without providing details.

Mr. Trump and his top aides have faced intense scrutiny over the death of the man, Alex Pretti, including from some of the president’s most ardent supporters. Earlier Monday, Mr. Trump said he was sending his border czar, Tom Homan, to Minnesota to oversee operations on the ground. Mr. Homan, the president added, would report directly to him.

After two days of blowback over the shooting and his own attacks on the victim, Mr. Trump struck a more cooperative tone on Monday, first by dispatching Mr. Homan to the state and then describing in a social media post a “very good call” with Gov. Tim Walz — whom he had also blamed for the shooting — that had them “on a similar wavelength.”

Mr. Walz’s office described the phone call as “productive” and said it touched on topics Mr. Trump’s post did not mention: efforts to ensure independent investigations into the killings and the possibility of reducing the number of federal agents deployed to the state.

Mr. Trump said in his post that he would have Mr. Homan contact Mr. Walz to discuss coordination, specifically on “Criminals” already in state custody. The summary from Mr. Walz’s office also said the call discussed working in “a more coordinated fashion” on enforcement actions related to violent criminals — actions, the office noted, that the state already undertakes.

I guess stepping on your dick can be painful.

  37. If they’re being trained to quickly fear for their life and jump to use of excessive force, there’s flaws in the training and their sense of public duty.

Alex Pretti had plenty of reason to fear for his life, going face-to-masked-face with killers, trained or untrained. He went out there anyway out of a sense of public duty. He did not get the chance to over-react when his life was suddenly on the line even though they’re lying and saying that he did.

  38. Bid, my earlier comment about training is a close paraphrase of ICE Barbie and the follow on is a collection of the prior excuses of ICE for doing nothing in the wake of its abuses. Sort of a thought bubble occurring when Dumbass is trying to explain a nonexistent investigation.
If Puppy Killer’s statement about agents acting within their training is true (a very unlikely prospect) then yes, training is an issue. The bloodthirst, though, is the heart of the issue.

  42. “Training Connections Between ICE and IDF
    Overview of Training Programs
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has engaged in training programs with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). These exchanges have been ongoing since the early 2000s and involve various U.S. law enforcement agencies, including ICE, learning from Israeli military and police tactics.

    Purpose of the Training
Counter-Terrorism Tactics: U.S. law enforcement officials are trained in surveillance, crowd control, and policing strategies used by the IDF.
Militarization of Policing: The training aims to adopt Israeli methods of policing, which include the use of military technology and tactics in domestic law enforcement.
    Implications of the Training
Shared Practices: The training has led to the adoption of controversial practices such as racial profiling and aggressive policing strategies in the U.S.
Human Rights Concerns: Critics argue that these exchanges legitimize and reinforce human rights abuses associated with the Israeli occupation and militarization.

    Conclusion
ICE’s training with the IDF reflects a broader trend of collaboration between U.S. law enforcement and Israeli security forces, raising significant concerns about the implications for civil rights and policing practices in the United States. -search assist (truthout.org scalawagmagazie.org)

In a recent discussion, Scott Galloway and Kara Swisher urge everyday Americans to mount an ‘economic strike’—a coordinated, temporary reduction in spending and subscriptions—to pressure former President Donald Trump and influential tech firms.

They propose concrete measures, including wealthy households cutting spending 10%, others cutting 5%, canceling OpenAI/ChatGPT and streaming subscriptions, and shifting bank deposits, arguing tech firms now comprise about 40% of the S&P and would ripple through Nvidia and Microsoft.

*Canceled my music streaming today. Canceled Peacock, too, but I wasn’t planning on renewing that anyway.

By shifting bank deposits, I assume they mean to a credit union, or at least out of a big bank.

This makes sense and is easier since we don’t have a heavily unionized workforce, and most can’t afford to take off work.

Keep spending at local, small businesses and avoid the big corporations if they support tRUMP; Costco is OK, but Target is a no.

  59. https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/ice-accused-abuse-power-after-leaving-vietnam-war-style-ace-spades-death-cards-colorado-1773816

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is facing accusations of abuse of power after playing cards marked with an ace of spades, historically linked to psychological warfare, were found in the vehicles of people detained in Eagle County, Colorado.

Federal immigration officials confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is investigating the incident after advocacy groups reported the discovery of the cards in cars left behind during ICE actions the week of 18 January 2026.

Historically known in military lore as a ‘death card,’ some US soldiers used it during the Vietnam War as part of psychological operations, left at battlefield sites and on bodies as a symbolic message of death or defeat. Various groups have also adopted the card’s symbolism for intimidation outside of its original context.

ICE and DHS have responded to the controversy by condemning the conduct and announcing a formal investigation. A DHS spokesperson stated that the agency ‘unequivocally condemns this type of action and/or officer conduct,’ adding that supervisors acted swiftly once the conduct was brought to their attention.

*Well, somebody signed a purchase order to have these custom printed at taxpayer expense. (Sure, cards they’ll investigate, but not murders.)
