He happened to be Jewish and the picture eventually came down.

    I just read the email headline from one of my local news sources.

    Vaccines don’t inject you with micro chips.

    To which I had 2 quick thoughts.
    First from the smart ass paranoid me
    “Oh yeah? Then how do you explain the microchip shortage that just *coincidently* happened at the same time they rolled out the vaccines.”
    Then there is the practical planning for my future me.
    “Hmmm, being microchipped might be a good deal, that way when I’m old and senile  they can find me when I get lost on the way home from the grocery store.”

  13. A nurse from Arkansas was interviewed on NPR. She was disappointed that masks wouldn’t be mandated. She also said they can’t use all of the ICU beds because they don’t have enough nurses. Maybe it’s time to tell the unvaccinated to stay home if they’re sick. Leave the hospitals for the vaccinated who have other issues.

    So close to kicking COVID’s ass.
    Just one month ago Florida was averaging around 1,500 new cases per day. Remember how good we felt? Like we had this thing licked.
    Then on Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control reported Florida had 13,256 new cases, 10 times the number of new cases reported this time last month. That’s more than the entire nation was reporting some days last month.
    Now, we’re a state with about 6% of the nation’s population and more than 20% of its new COVID cases.
    The number of COVID patients in AdventHealth’s Central Florida hospitals has doubled in two weeks. The hospital system is once again limiting elective surgeries and visitors.
    The death rate is holding steady but we know enough about this pandemic to know a spike seems certain to follow this new outbreak.
    It feels like Florida’s at a tipping point, a decisive moment when we collectively decide whether the disease will once again be allowed to rage out of control or whether we choose to say enough is enough.
    Please, Florida, let’s say enough, once and for all. We can stop it from getting worse.
    There’s a vaccine. It’s safe. It’s free. It’s easy. And it works.
    The vaccine is virtually everything we need to stop this scourge, to return to lives that aren’t inconvenienced, interrupted or ended by this disease.

One of the more interesting conspiracy things the SFB cultists believe is that Dr. Fauci receives one dollar per each injection.  I ask where that comes from I am asked if I ever watch television news. I reply I do not watch faux or the two Russian cable stations, and the response is I must watch MSNBC and other leftist programs.  I tell them no, those are too far right Republican views.  That leaves them really confused.

    I had forgotten that the Olympics started yesterday. After two minutes of men’s volleyball in and empty venue this morning, I was done. I feel sorry for the athletes, but they should’ve held off another year. No interest in the games, at least not yet.

  31. Will there be a trial for a booster?  Will they ask double-vaxxed to volunteer for a booster before we get it or can they roll it out fast? I’m ready to roll up my sleeve and I just got my second shot six weeks ago.

    I’m wondering about the few, mild breakthrough cases, too. The guy who works for the NFL was vaxxed in Feb.

    One more thing. A coworker donated blood after she was vaxxed with Pfizer and had zero side effects. She said was told she had no covid anti-bodies. Wouldn’t (shouldn’t) she have antibodies from the vax or do you only find or count those that occur naturally from infection?

    The antibodies develop slowly.  That is why they don’t consider you fully vaxed until two weeks after the second injection.
