The updated, 23-count indictment detailed two more fraudulent schemes: the credit card scheme, and a conspiracy to submit to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) false reports that inflated his campaign’s fundraising so it could deceive the Republican party into extending financial support.
In the credit card scheme, Santos is alleged to have devised a way to steal the identities and financial information of his campaign donors, which were used to charge their credit cards and caused money to be deposited into his campaign, other campaigns, and his own bank account.
The scheme involved one instance where Santos allegedly stole the billing details of a donor’s two credit cards and made transfers to his campaign. To get around the fact that they exceeded legal limits, prosecutors said, Santos falsely listed himself and relatives as the sources of the funds.
On one occasion, prosecutors said, Santos charged $12,000 to the donor’s credit card – money that mostly ended up in his personal bank account.

George Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures and Sports Illustrated Studios announced in 2021 that they would begin work on a documentary about Jordan’s cover-up of the abuse as told by his former wrestlers. Work began during the summer of 2022, and the film will debut on HBO when it is released.
When asked when it will be released by the Columbus Dispatch this past April, Director Eva Orner would not commit to a specific date, but says it is coming, and that it will “give the courageous men who were abused a powerful and clear voice.”

Scalise’s problem is he is battling a severe form of cancer. So his immune system is highly compromised. He is going to have to hang out with all those germy Republicans asserting their right to spew germs to any and all they come in contact with.

It is a genocidal war. To understand a genocidal war look at the Indian wars we had as we pushed the indigenous peoples out. That is what has been going on in Israel. Carter tried to stop it and work toward a solution but Bibi has effectively dismantled the peace accords frame work and has made it clear his goal is a greater Israel with no Palestinians.

The victorious bear, called 128 Grazer, beat competition from 11 other bears in Katmai national park in Alaska to clinch the title in an online vote.
In doing so, 128 Grazer joins a vaunted list of Fat Bear Week winners, some of whom she defeated on the way to victory.

128 Grazer made it through three rounds of voting before facing 32 Chunk, a “mountain of a male” with a “prominent posterior”, according to Katmai.
Fat Bear Week works by allowing fans to vote for one of two bears. The victor then moves on to the next round, to face off against a different bear. 128 Grazer proved to be a real favorite among Fat Bear Week voters, who were rapt as she “stuffed so much salmon in her face”, Katmai said.
“Grazer’s combination of skill and toughness makes her one of Brooks River’s most formidable, successful, and adaptable bears, who is well prepared for winter,” the National Park Service said.
128 Grazer was introduced to the Brooks River, in Katmai national park, in 2005. Since then the bear has “become one of the best anglers” in the region, and has raised two litters of cubs.
