“Loyal opposition” is an acceptable stand for a political organization, not a news organization. Fine. This means FOX “News” should not be included in the White House Press Corps, just as the Democratic National Committee, the Republican National Committee, the Proud Boys or Black Lives Matter are not credentialed.

oliver on their boy reporter – or would that be boy oppose-er?
Tucker Carlson is admired by white nationalists, elected officials, and maybe some of your relatives or coworkers. Given that he has the ear of so many Americans, John Oliver explains where Tucker came from, what his rhetorical tactics are, and what he represents.
considering how Faux portrays the jan 6th insurrectionists who attempted to overthrow the gov’t as just concerned citizens, you’re not the “loyal” opposition, Lachlan. you’re the DISloyal opposition. Â
a prime example pointed out by LP last month:
Good thing Fauxâs owner finally admits what weâve known for years. Right, remove their WH Press credentials.Â
Fox viewer…
Who still sponsors Faux News? Â
A lot of My Pillow and gold coin ads on FOX. But the thing about cable news revenue is they make most of their money from what carriers pay them, ads are secondary. The best way to hurt them would be to demand FOX taken off basic packages. Somebody should start a campaign for that, could be a nice task for Lincoln Project.
here’s one of faux’s so-called patriots

according to Shirley McClain, Dino just made it all look so easy because he was menefreghista.
yup….
i did, from this site, a few years, ago. Â Sturge and one of my friends said they canceled, so thatâs at least $3 a month i helped keep out of the Murdochâs coffersđ
(You can call your cable company and have them remove the cable news channels)
…just tried to find the original âflagâ tweet  , that RR posted, above (i like to make sure iâm not getting duped, these days), and Lytle G. Warren is indeed a trumpistani, and theLeoTerrel tweets literally at least 50x a day, so iâm not scrolling through all of his trumpistani nonsense.  Seems like something they would post, though
Pardon me if I donât believe you, âLyinâ Tedâ Cruz. Â Now, who was it that gave you that nickname? Â
I havenât had cable for 7 years or so, but the Lincoln Project could probably do a nice job with it, depending on the demographic of those who still have cable. Maybe Fox Noise viewers are mostly the folks who are still hooked up.
Coca-Cola and Home Depot have come out in opposition to Georgia Republicans’ voting restrictions. https://t.co/YZn2QHWN1u
Next we see if they get FOX MAGA Tucker calls for boycotts, bet their PR folks very worried
Thanks to Tucker’s rise FOX is leading prime time again, after a slump. He’s replacing Trump. Our next Hitler.Â
Tucker’s a lot like Hannity in that he has a manner of saying things that are neither true nor logical in such a way that your average dumbshit thinks what he said made sense and just has to be true.   Â
What is the Optimal Human Population?
At present we are at about 1 & 3/4 earths worth of people.
The generation reaction to charges against Andrew Cuomo
Interesting debate on why older women’s reaction to claims of harassment unless more serious actions come to light.
Jamie, that Cuomo bit wonât load for me.Â
Pogo
Sorry my mistake. Here is the direct link to the NY Time opinion page

The Abbott-ERCOT death toll
Oh, and Greg no-mask-mandate Abbott is now ~REALLY~ concerned about how many crossing the border illegally may have covid.
However, we canât take in everybody, especially not all at once and during a pandemic. I donât have an answer to fix the problems in other countries, when ours is still really messy.

The issue with that global population story is that itâs looking at humans as a cost. Humans are more than workers and consumers. There are newer, cleaner sources of energy to reduce the impact on the climate. Itâs the same dilemma of people as statistics v people as human beings with unique stories. I do think there are too many people, but maybe weâre just too clumped together around here. NYC never bothers me, though.
Jamie, thx. Interesting, somewhat predictable, read. As a lawyer Iâm into due process. I disagreed with the Franken situation and disagree with this one. Iâve seen similar issues- certainly not at the top levels of government- where as word got out about questionable claims those who never complained at the time somehow found the courage to remember that they, too, had been grievously wronged. It is a process I have not found to be fair or consistent with the requirements of due process. The investigative part of the process gets lost in the fervor to convict. Ask Franken how that worked.Â
