  1. well, this time on a jan6 eve they’re marching south, south america that is, not north to take over DC like they tried last time.

  3. meanwhile, there are still those who are still focused on stuff Dodo wishes not to be discussed. Daily Beast starts the new year with more tidbits from biographer wolff about the infamous bromance.
    one such bit for instance:

    Jan 1, 2026
Michael Wolff tells Joanna Coles about the time Epstein brought women to Trump to take to Brooklyn and explains the comfortable kind of friendship that the two men had.

    here’s the whole 1/1/26 interview

  4. KO talks impeachment today

SEASON 4 EPISODE 46: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN

A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: Well, that’s it in sum, isn’t it? He’s “El Presidente” now, isn’t he? Military Dictator. Succeeding Maduro. Until he finds somebody else to “run” it. Not the elected Vice President. Not the actual winner of the last election. Not the U-N. Maybe somebody he, in his dysfunctional haze, somebody he can trust. Maybe an oil executive. Or Elon Musk. Or Catturd.

The invasion was illegal there, and illegal here. The kidnapping was illegal. Declaring we would run it is illegal. Naming a proxy dictator is illegal. As was his threat yesterday to the acting president that quote “if she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro” and calling for her belief that her country shouldn’t be invaded by another country breaking its own laws is quote “defiant rejection.” THAT’S illegal. It’s all illegal. That’s a lot of illegal – even for Trump. And I say this, hating Maduro completely.

So he needs to be impeached, if not now then a year from now. Rubio can be impeached now for deceiving Congress about its approval. And both of them turned over to the World Court. And the ramifications are almost uncountable, including emboldening them to consider this in Cuba, Greenland, Iran. The poll numbers are terrible, and the risk to Americans of terrorism and violence are just as terrible. And maybe worst of all the evidence of linkage between Putin’s strange silence about his ally Maduro, and Trump’s dithering about Ukraine, is terrible too.

But at least it produced a pretty good Olivia Nuzzi joke.

ALSO: WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE TRUMP HEALTH COVER-UP STORY AGAIN? Five significant changes, about his MRI/CT, his cardiovascular health, and now the total of Cognitive tests he’s gotten in just the last nine months. Three? Not two? He’s really needed three tests in nine months? To repeat the insightful question from his niece Mary Trump: Why do they have to keep giving him cognitive tests?

B-Block (40:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: There’s begging the new boss to let you keep your current job, then there’s what CBS Legal Analyst Jan Crawford is doing for Bari Weiss to try to keep hers. Chuck Schumer comes out firing on Venezuela: with one-millionth of one barrel blazing. And just when you think Cheryl Hines can’t get any dumber, Tucker Carlson tries to talk to her about vaccines.

C-Block (50:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: Will Ferrell did a great comedy bit at the L.A. Kings hockey game on New Year’s Day and he did it for the pure joy of it. Which reminded me of the difference between amateurs and pros, and of the days when “Anchorman” was new and Will and I ad libbed a pretty good comedy bit that he said he really loved doing.

  5. The through line from J6 to now is how Trump’s hostility to the rule of law runs from trying to overthrow an election five yeas ago to bypassing congressional war powers today.

  6. Listened to Rubio’s attempted explanation of why the administration didn’t seek Congressional authorization or even inform Congressional Republicans or the gang of 8 about the attack and capture of Maduro. He’s been around Dumbass too much – has begun talking in the same nonsensical bullshit that Dumbass has raised to an art form, but without the ease Dumbass spews his.

  7. So part of Rubio’s explanation is:

“This was not an invasion. This was not an extended military operation. This was a very precise operation that involved a couple of hours of action,” Rubio told NBC’s “Meet the Press With Kristen Welker” on Sunday.

    His appearance is below.

See if you can square that circle.

  8. Here’s the full explanation for why congressional approval or notification was not sought or delivered. From the State Department. https://www.state.gov/releases/2026/01/secretary-of-state-marco-rubio-with-kristen-welker-of-nbcs-meet-the-press/

This was not an action that – yeah, this was not an action that required congressional approval. In fact, it couldn’t require congressional approval because this was not an invasion. This is not an extended military operation. This was a very precise operation that involved a couple of hours of action. It was a very delicate operation too. It was one that required all these conditions to be in place at the right time in the right place. You couldn’t afford leaks. We couldn’t afford anything out there that would have endangered the mission and gotten people killed or killed off the mission and the optionality. We didn’t even know if the mission was going to happen. How can you notify something you’re not even sure if it can happen? Because in order for it to happen, you needed to have weather conditions in place. He needed to be at the right place at the right time. We needed to have forces prepared to go. There were a lot of factors in place. It was a trigger-based operation.

    QUESTION: But —

SECRETARY RUBIO: You can’t notify that, number one —

    QUESTION: Okay.

SECRETARY RUBIO: — because you don’t even know if it’s going to happen, if those conditions will ever align.

    QUESTION: But —

SECRETARY RUBIO: And number two, you can’t risk it being disclosed. But this was not an attack on Venezuela. This was a law enforcement function to capture an indicted drug trafficker. And of course, we needed the Department of War to support it because they do have anti-aircraft missiles that could shoot down those helicopters.

    QUESTION: But will you —

SECRETARY RUBIO: We had to take down radars. We had to take down those anti-air elements on the way in and on the way out. And that’s – that’s what this was limited to.

QUESTION: But will you seek congressional approval for any further action in Venezuela or the region?

SECRETARY RUBIO: Well, we will seek congressional approval for actions that require congressional approval, but —

    QUESTION: Okay.

SECRETARY RUBIO: — otherwise they will get congressional notification. That – and this is not an operation that required congressional approval. In fact, this is an operation akin to what virtually every single president for the last 40 years has conducted.

    QUESTION: Is —

SECRETARY RUBIO: The difference is that when it’s Donald Trump, all these Democrats go bonkers.

As I said, see if you can square that circle.

  9. Did you cross a border to get there? Er… yes
Did the owners know your were coming? Ummm No
Did you carry weapons with you? Well … yes
Did you shoot guns and make things go boom? You might say that
Did you grab a citizen of that country and leave with him when you left? Ah … sort of

    IT WAS AN INVASION!!!

Carlos Vecchio, mentioned in the previous clip:

From 1994 to 1998, Vecchio was a legal consult for Venezuela’s state-run oil company, PDVSA.[4] Vecchio then returned to work as a tax manager for ExxonMobil in Venezuela.[5] After Chávez expropriated ExxonMobil’s assets within Venezuela, in 2006 Vecchio’s boss offered him a position in Qatar that included a pay increase, an assigned house and car, a company share package and more benefits. Vecchio said he immediately declined the offer and decided at that point to become involved in politics.[6]

  19. Tim Walz dropping out of MN gubernatorial race.

Gov. Tim Walz ends reelection campaign amid pressure on fraud

Walz is to address reporters at the state Capitol at 11 a.m. No other Democratic-Farmer-Labor candidate has entered the race for governor so far. The governor released a statement on his decision Monday morning, addressing the ongoing fraud and what he called “political gamesmanship” by President Donald Trump and Republicans.

“For the last several years, an organized group of criminals have sought to take advantage of our state’s generosity,” Walz said. “And even as we make progress in the fight against the fraudsters, we now see an organized group of political actors seeking to take advantage of the crisis.

I won’t mince words here. Donald Trump and his allies – in Washington, in St. Paul, and online – want to make our state a colder, meaner place. They want to poison our people against each other by attacking our neighbors. And, ultimately, they want to take away much of what makes Minnesota the best place in America to raise a family. They’ve already begun by taking our tax dollars that were meant to help families afford child care. And they have no intention of stopping there.

“Make no mistake: We should be concerned about fraud in our state government. We cannot effectively deliver programs and services if we can’t earn the public’s trust. That’s why, over the past few years, we’ve made systemic changes to the way we do business.”

  20. Minnesota investigators say child care centers captured in viral video were operating as expected

The Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families conducted compliance checks on nine child care centers embroiled in controversy after a viral video accused them of fraud, finding the centers were “operating as expected.”

In a news release, the agency said investigators who visited the centers also gathered evidence and “initiated further review.”

“Children were present at all sites except for one — that site was not yet open for families for the day when inspectors arrived,” the state agency said.

The nine child care facilities were captured in a viral video made by right-wing content creator Nick Shirley, who visited several Somali-owned centers in an attempt to expose widespread fraud. The video prompted calls for an investigation, a freezing of federal funds and racist rhetoric toward the Somali community.

Days after Shirley published the YouTube video, some child care providers reported receiving harassing phone calls. One was vandalized and broken into.

DCYF said the child care centers referenced in the video received funding from Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program, which is funded by state, federal and county dollars. About 12,000 working families use the program every month.

Here’s a list of the child care centers receiving CCAP funds referenced in the video and how much money they received in fiscal year 2025:

Super Kids Daycare Center — $471,787

Future Leaders Early Learning Center — $3.68 million

Quality Learning Centers — $1.9 million

    Tayo Daycare — $1.09 million

Minnesota Child Care Center — $2.67 million

Mini Child Care Center — $1.6 million

Sweet Angel Child Care — $1.54 million

ABC Learning Center — $1.04 million

Minnesota Best Child Care Center — $3.4 million

DCYF has ongoing investigations at four of the centers on the list. In total, the agency has 55 open investigations involving providers that are getting funding through CCAP.

“Investigations can range from a one-time compliance check — observing classrooms and reviewing attendance against billing — to longer, in-depth reviews comparing children present with billing records,” DCYF said in the news release.

The state agency also recognized the harm that can come from false allegations about fraud.

“Distribution of unvetted or deceptive claims and misuse of tip lines can interfere with investigations, create safety risks for families, providers and employers, and has contributed to harmful discourse about Minnesota’s immigrant communities,” the agency said.

  21. https://www.cnn.com/2025/12/30/media/nick-shirley-minnesota-somali-video?cid=external-feeds_iluminar_msn

Who banks Nick Shirley & how does he access CECOT & get a visa to visit war-torn Ukraine?

Shirley has not always presented himself as an “independent journalist” as he does now. His YouTube account’s early videos are more along the lines of “shock content” and pranks.

In December 2021, Shirley announced he was quitting YouTube to serve on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santiago, Chile. Two years later, he resurfaced with his current video format – content that focuses exclusively on political issues. His first several videos focused on illegal immigration at the border.

Immediately, he gained significantly more views on YouTube than his prior videos. He surpassed 1 million views for the first time with “I investigated the NYC Migrant Crisis,” posted in February 2024. A video titled “I infiltrated Rio, Brazil’s most dangerous gang” is his biggest to date, with more than 4.3 million views. His YouTube channel currently has 1.21 million subscribers.

By 2025, Shirley was well-known in the MAGA universe and was invited to speak at the White House in October during a roundtable with President Donald Trump about Antifa, an anti-fascist movement with no leadership or organization.

Since Shirley’s piece took off, Musk has amplified the story several times, framing it as emblematic of broader government waste, Democratic policies, immigration and as a failure of mainstream media.

An early investigation by the Minnesota Department of Education into alleged fraud by Feeding Our Future was stymied in part by a lawsuit filed by the organization and its founder, Aimee Bock — who is not Somali — alleging the investigation was discriminatory. She later voluntarily dropped the suit a week after federal agents raided her home and the nonprofit’s offices.

ps – Aimee Bock is a white woman. Also, you can’t just walk into a daycare for safety reasons.

  22. https://www.startribune.com/who-is-david-on-nick-shirley-viral-video-minnesota-fraud/601555911

Meet ‘David,’ the man who spirited Nick Shirley around to Somali-run day cares

When David Hoch ran for Minnesota governor and attorney general years ago, he had a penchant for staging stunts like campaigning in nothing but shorts and a sandwich board on Minneapolis’ Nicollet Mall.

But never has Hoch garnered as much attention as in the past week, after he worked with right-wing influencer Nick Shirley to make a video that created shock waves reverberating all the way to the White House.

In the 43-minute video, Hoch — identified only as “David” — escorts Shirley to various Somali-run child care centers that he suspects are committing fraud. Knocking on doors and demanding to be let in, the two declare there are no children inside if nobody answers or if workers won’t let them in. (The Minnesota Star Tribune was allowed inside four of the 10 facilities visited by Shirley days later and found children napping and playing.)

For the 65-year-old Fridley man, the episode offered a stunning turn in the spotlight after spending years in the shadows, despite his many efforts to grab attention for himself and his causes.

Hoch ran for governor in 2006 under the Resource Party, which largely seemed to exist to oppose tribal gaming compacts.

Among his campaign pledges: To build a casino that would generate $500 million in revenue for the state and lower health care premiums.

Four years later, the Minnesota native ran for attorney general, again as a candidate for the Resource Party. During the race, he said he used to be a Republican but left because “the party has no spine.”

He claimed the state broke the law by negotiating compacts allowing tribes to operate casinos, a move he called “economically destructive” for the state. He also claimed the state smoking ban was illegal.

  23. Unmasking Nick Shirley: Ethnicity, Utah Upbringing, and His Parents’ Legal Shadows

Nick Shirley’s rise to fame intensified with his December 2025 video, “I Investigated Minnesota’s Billion Dollar Fraud Scandal,” where he visited ten Somali-operated daycares in Minneapolis, claiming they were ghost operations billing the state for nonexistent services.

Yet, the claims have faced pushback. State inspections found no evidence of fraud at the sites, with some daycares explaining closures due to holidays or operational hours. Owners like Ibrahim Ali invited public visits and decried the linking of Somali heritage to criminality. Critics, including immigrant rights groups, view Shirley’s work as fueling Islamophobia and xenophobia, building on his history of videos targeting migrants with sensational titles like “Exposing Dangerous Illegal Migrant Scammers.” His past coverage of events like the January 6 Capitol riot and El Salvador’s prisons further cements his alignment with far-right narratives.

His parents, Paul and Brooke Shirley, have become figures of interest amid the controversy. Brooke, who goes by Brooker Tee Jones on TikTok and boasts over 250,000 followers, is a right-wing influencer in her own right. She has actively defended her son on national television, appearing on Newsmax to blame Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Democratic leaders for allowing alleged fraud to flourish, rather than criticizing Shirley’s methods.

Brooke has encouraged Nick’s focus on immigration issues post-mission and even collaborated on content accusing Somali residents of healthcare fraud. Paul Shirley, less visible in the public eye, shares the family name that has been linked to past legal matters. Little is known about Shirley’s siblings, as no mentions of brothers or sisters appear in available records or interviews, suggesting he may be an only child or that his family keeps such details private.

The Shirley family portrays itself as ordinary citizens stepping up to expose societal issues, with Brooke emphasizing their role in “saving the country” from unchecked schemes. However, public records reveal a more complex picture, including a 2018 civil lawsuit where Paul and Brooke were named defendants in a bankruptcy adversary proceeding.

The case involved allegations of improper financial transfers, though no criminal charges were filed, and it was resolved without proven wrongdoing.

  24. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hegseth-mark-kelly-demotion-censure-pension-pentagon/

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Monday that the Pentagon had begun a process to demote Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona and cut his retirement pay over a video in which Kelly, a retired Navy captain, called on service members to “refuse illegal orders.”

*The tRUMPsky regime has to kneecap anyone they think could run successfully run in 2028. An older, white man who is not a Christo-fascist MAGAty N&zi must be punished by fragile, decaying tRUMPsky and his cadre of evil snowflakes.

Just like they are afraid of Walz because he was so popular on the Harris/Walz campaign trail, they are afraid of war hero/astronaut Kelly.

They are afraid of women and POC, but the misogyny and/or racism of many Americans undercuts the reason of any statement or action they make.

Decent, older, white men are on the menu.

  25. https://patch.com/minnesota/saintpaul/tim-walz-won-t-run-again-5-things-know-if-amy-klobuchar-runs-governor

Walz is not resigning. He will continue serving as governor through the end of his current term, which expires in January 2027.

The Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and the Republican Party will begin that process at precinct caucuses on Feb. 3, followed by endorsement conventions and, if necessary, primary elections later in 2026.

Klobuchar’s current U.S. Senate term runs through January 2029. Minnesota law does not require her to resign her Senate seat in order to run for governor. She would only vacate the seat if she wins the governor’s race and takes office in January 2027.

Under Minnesota law, if a U.S. Senate vacancy occurs, the governor may appoint a temporary replacement. That appointee serves until a successor is elected and qualified through a special election.

Because Walz would still be governor if Klobuchar were elected in November 2026 and resigned her Senate seat, Walz would have the authority to make that temporary Senate appointment.

  29. Mike Waltz Declares ‘We are Not at War with Venezuela’

Waltz quoted Secretary Rubio a final time, saying, “This is the Western Hemisphere. This is where we live, and we are not going to allow the Western Hemisphere to be used as a base of operations for our nation’s adversaries and competitors and rivals of the United States.”

*Aaaand that’s why they renamed it the WAR Department

“competitors”? Jeez The extinction burst of capitalism and the patriarchy creating one, big circle as a Venn diagram. Matriarchy, by the way, is not a hierarchical system with women at the top; it is communication, cooperation, and community.

Billionaires, and those who operate in that sphere, should realize what the old poster that read “He who does with the most toys, wins” means: You can hoard all of the resources you want, but you won’t escape the Grim Reaper; it’s a foolish and cruel pursuit.

    Tim Walz 💙
    Mike Waltz 👹

Can we just refer to Republicans as the Red Devils?

  30. Billionaires should be taxed out of existence. While some do good and give it away, they remain billionaires, so how generous are they really?

Taxing them until they only have one million under a billion isn’t going to hurt them, and if spent on education, housing, medical care, and good, it would help so many. No more military spending, which included surveillance.

There should be no such thing as a billionaire. Tax them all! Let them find no tax haven to hide their assets. The world should unite on this issue.

  31. Hegseth and Dumbass are “birds of a feather” – both are POS. WaPo

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Monday that he has formally censured Sen. Mark Kelly and launched administrative proceedings against the Arizona Democrat to consider whether to reduce his Navy rank in retirement, the latest twist in a weeks-long dispute about the lawmaker’s political commentary.

Hegseth said in a social media post that as a retired Navy officer, Kelly is “still accountable to military justice,” and he repeated unfounded allegations that Kelly has made “seditious statements.” The dispute centers on a video in which the senator and five other Democrats reminded U.S. troops they can disobey illegal orders, infuriating President Donald Trump.

The lawmakers have been sharply critical of the administration’s domestic military deployments and its deadly campaign against alleged smuggling boats in Latin America. Many also have publicly denounced Hegseth, a former Fox News host who spent years in the National Guard, labeling him an unqualified partisan who has damaged the Defense Department’s standing as an apolitical government institution.

Kelly responded to Hegseth’s announcement with a statement saying that he has risked his life for his country and to defend the U.S. Constitution — “including the First Amendment rights of every American to speak out.” He called the actions against him “outrageous” and “wrong” and said that Hegseth “still doesn’t get it” if he thinks he can intimidate Kelly with censure or threats of demotion or prosecution.

“I will fight this with everything I’ve got — not for myself, but to send a message back that Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump don’t get to decide what Americans in this country get to say about their government,” Kelly said.

    […]

Timmons said he was not surprised that the Pentagon so far has declined to go forward with a criminal case against Kelly, as Hegseth had threatened. “They were never going to be able to move to prosecution because the standard is so high,” he added. By deciding to pursue adverse administrative action instead, Timmons said, administration officials were able to leave the door open to significant punishment with a much lower evidentiary standard.

Whether the case against Kelly will endure is another matter.

“None of this will stand up,” predicted Eugene Fidell, a senior research scholar and military law expert at Yale Law School. While a grade determination can be opened against a service member under narrow circumstances, he said, the actions under scrutiny must have occurred while someone was on active duty.

“This is dead on arrival as a grade determination,” Fidell said. “It’s free speech, it’s a free country, still, and there’s no ‘there’ there in terms of the power to reopen a retired grade.”

    […]

Trump responded by calling the lawmakers “traitors” and claiming on social media that they should be “ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL.” He added that their behavior was “punishable by DEATH!” White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt later clarified that Trump did not want to execute them but accused them of “essentially encouraging” chaos.

Kelly retired from the military in 2011 after serving 24 years on active duty. His career included flying fighter jets over Iraq during the Persian Gulf War and becoming an astronaut. He left the Navy several months after his wife, then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Arizona), was shot in the head during a campaign event and survived.

    Google AI points out that:

Article 92 of the UCMJ requires obedience to lawful orders, but impliedly forbids obedience to unlawful ones. The Defense Department’s Law of War Manual explicitly dictates that members must refuse orders to violate the laws of war.

    Absolutely despicable pricks.

  32. Lindsey Graham Gleefully Poses With Trump After Prez Signs His ‘Make Iran Great Again’ Hat

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham was all smiles aboard Air Force One on Sunday as he posed with President Donald Trump and the “Make Iran Great Again” hat signed by the commander in chief.

“So I pray and hope that 2026 will be the year that we make Iran great again,” he said as he affixed the cap on his head.

Days earlier, Trump threatened Tehran in an ominous Truth Social post, saying the U.S. was “locked and loaded and ready to go” if any demonstrators are killed as a wave of unrest looms large against the regime.

*Yep, and “we” means the US and Israel.

  33. So Amy Klobuchar is considering a run for MN governor with Walz backing away. Good. She’s got much bigger balls than Dumbass and is smarter by quantum degrees.

It outlines more explicitly how the US can “Make Europe Great Again”. The focus is on sovereignty and traditional “European ways of life”.

The intention is to work with Right-wing governments of white supremacists and potentially separate them from the EU framework. <—-

The document doesn't specifically classify these parties; however, Trump had been a vocal supporter of Viktor Orbán and the Fidesz party of Hungary, Giorgia Meloni and the Brothers of Italy party on several occasions. Other parties presumably include Geert Wilders' Party for Freedom of the Netherlands; Andrej Babiš, leader of the Czech Republic populist ANO; Robert Fico's Smer party in Poland; Herbert Kickl of the far-right Freedom Party of Austria; Marine Le Pen’s National Rally in France; Vox in Spain; Reform in the UK and the AfD in Germany.

The White House has denied the existence of any such version.

    *This was pre-invasion of Venezuela.

  36. “i wish all greenlanders blessing in their fight for independence
icelanders are extremely relieved that they managed to break from the danish in 1944, we didn’t loose our language ( my children would be speaking danish now ) and i burst with sympathy for greenlanders, repeatedly, especially like when the case came up about the forced contraception, where 4500 girls as young as 12 got IUD without their knowledge between 1966 and 1970
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/mar/04/greenlandic-women-sue-danish-state-for-contraceptive-violation-coil
4500 girls as young as 12 were fitted
…. they are my age and younger … childless ….
and still today the danish are treating greenlanders like they are second class humans
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/nov/25/danish-parenting-tests-baby-removed-from-greenlandic-mother
removing children from their parents in 2025 !
colonialism has repeatedly given me horror chills up my back,
and the chance that my fellow greenlanders might go from one cruel coloniser to another is too brutal to even imagine.
“úr öskunni i eldinn”, like we say in icelandic
    dear greenlanders declare independence !!!!
    sympathetic wishes from your neighbours
    warmthness”

*Remember when the current US regime was trying to say Greenlanders to wanted to be part of the US? This is why they had leverage. Nobody will ever be part of the US, though, only under it.

This translates to: from the ashes to the fire (or, as we know it, out of the frying pan and into the fire)
    úr öskunni i eldinn

Gunfire was heard near the Miraflores presidential palace in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, on Monday night, CNN reported.

Videos geolocated by the network showed what appeared to be drone lights and anti-aircraft fire lighting up the night sky. The cause of the incident remains unclear.

  38. https://newrepublic.com/post/204944/woman-arrested-protesting-donald-trump-invasion-venezuela

A woman was arrested live on camera in Grand Rapids, Michigan, while talking to a local newscast about protesting the U.S. government’s sudden takeover of Venezuela.

Plichta’s decision to exercise her First Amendment rights ended when local authorities handcuffed her on the sidewalk while she was live on air.

“We have to apply pressure at all points that we can, this is not just a foreign issue,” Plichta said before she was arrested. “It’s our tax dollars that are also being used to commit these war crimes.”

She was reportedly arrested for obstructing a roadway and failure to obey a lawful command from an officer, according to 13 ON YOUR SIDE.

Plichta had visited Venezuela just three weeks before the Trump administration kidnapped the Latin American nation’s leader, Nicolás Maduro. While there, she attended an international summit, the People’s Assembly for Peace and Sovereignty of Our America, during which she said she saw Maduro “in person.”

“People loved him,” Plichta told the ABC News affiliate before her arrest. “Maduro was elected by the people. He is for the people, and the people want to see his return. Free Maduro.”

*Now, what I see in the attached clip was a woman talking to the press on a sidewalk, but it’s just a clip. She is, for whatever reason, pro-Maduro, but free speech???

  39. https://www.hola.com/us/lifestyle/20260102875892/peruvian-shamans-predict-trump-illness-2026-maduro-downfall/

During their annual New Year ritual in Lima, Peruvian shamans predicted President Donald Trump’s health could be in trouble in 2026. In a bold political prediction, Juan de Dios Garcia, one of the participating shamans who gathered on a beach in southern Lima for their annual New Year’s ritual on December 29th, 2025, said, “The United States should prepare itself because Donald Trump will fall seriously ill.”

The shamans, who donned colorful ponchos and sprinkled flowers on the sand at the event, also forecast the downfall of Venezuela’s counterpart, 63-year-old Nicolas Maduro. Juan said, “We see Nicolas Maduro defeated. Nicolas Maduro will flee Venezuela. He will not be captured.”

As for Putin and Zelenskyy, the shamans once again predicted that the war between their two countries will end. Juan said, “I see that the conflict will end, they will raise the flag of peace.”

And the shamans, who made a similar prediction regarding the conclusion of the Russian/Ukrainian war during the 2023 event, think that Keiko Fujimori, the 50-year-old daughter of the late former President Alberto Fujimori, will be elected the President of Peru after three previous attempts. Juan said, “The woman who dreams of ruling Peru, I have been able to see through the wachuma [ancestral plant used in spiritual practices] that Keiko Fujimori will be president in 2026.”

    *The ancestral plant.

  40. “We see Nicolas Maduro defeated. Nicolas Maduro will flee Venezuela. He will not be captured.”

must have boiled the wachuma too long
