  1. more from wall st journal at
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/see-more-pages-from-epstein-s-50th-birthday-book/

Here’s a look at pages that were contained in Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday book. These images were released Monday by Congress with redactions after Epstein’s estate provided copies. The Journal previously described and reported on these pages. See an analysis of the letter bearing Trump’s signature, which he has denied writing.

    Table of Contents
Donald Trump and Bill Clinton were listed under the “Friends” section in the book’s table of contents, along with about 20 other associates. Other people were grouped under categories such as “Science,” “Brooklyn” and “Family.” While many letter writers weren’t famous, some categories had notable people.

    Ghislaine Maxwell
The book began with a one-page prologue signed by Epstein’s former girlfriend. Maxwell recently told Justice Department officials she assembled a book for Epstein’s 50th birthday but didn’t remember any names of people who made contributions to the album.

  2. WSJ article linked above ends with:

    Ghislaine Maxwell
The book concluded with a section called “The Next 50 Years.” It had two pages, including a photo of Epstein in a hammock and an image with the inscription: “Know when you are winning.” It was signed “Lots of love, Ghislaine.” A lawyer for Maxwell had no immediate comment.

  3. MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell shares his own entry in the “Trump signature sweepstakes” after the White House denies that the signature on a letter written for Jeffrey Epstein’s birthday released by the House Oversight Committee is not his.

  4. Stephen Colbert hasn’t aged a day in ten years, the name of the Department of Defense was too woke for President Trump, Americans finally got a glimpse of a gross drawing Trump gave Jeffrey Epstein for his birthday, and the residents of Nantucket have been outed as above-average partiers.

  5. It’s the first Monday Night Football game of the season, the gang from Spinal Tap is here, Trump spoiled the U.S. Open and was booed by the tennis crowd, there was focus on his right hand which was once again plastered in putty, he posted an A.I. version of himself to celebrate his invasion of Chicago, he hosted all the big tech CEOs at the White House on Thursday night, he signed an executive order to change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War, we finally got a look at the birthday note and drawing that the Wall Street Journal reported Trump made for Jeffrey Epstein, Mike Johnson is desperately trying to keep a lid on the Epstein Files and position Trump as some kind of hero, and one supermarket chain is taking action to lower prices in any way they can.

  6. Yikes! What a geriatric dentist’s nightmare!

Poobah, unless there was a restitution requirement I cannot fathom why Acosta and his gang of shitty attorneys would provide the criminal a list of his victims. Had he been taken through trial to a conviction some of them would likely have been disclosed in discovery required in federal cases, at least those who would be called as witnesses. Otherwise, WTF?

I don’t practice criminal law, and certainly not in federal court, but I’m going to run it past a friend who does and who clerked for the past Chief Judge of NDWV and will report back.

  7. more from the B-book
    huffpo’s https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jeffrey-epstein-birthday-book-fully-depreciated-woman-trump_n_68bf67eae4b0333d06bcea77?origin=home-latest-news-unit

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee on Monday highlighted another disturbing page out of Jeffrey Epstein’s so-called 2003 “birthday book” that features a joke about Epstein selling a woman to President Donald Trump.
“Jeffrey showing early talents with money + women! Sells ‘fully depreciated’ [name redacted] to Donald Trump for $22,500,” reads a handwritten caption on the page, which includes a photo of Epstein and longtime Mar-a-Lago member Joel Pashcow holding a massive “check.”
The caption goes on, “Showed early ‘people skills’ too. Even though I handled the deal I didn’t get any of the money on the girl!”
Two faces — as well as the woman’s name on the check— are redacted from the snap. The check also features a “DJ Trump” signature, but it doesn’t resemble the president’s handwriting as seen on documents over the years.
The joke takes aim at a woman whom the president and Epstein “socialized with” in the 1990s, sources told The Wall Street Journal.
The “birthday book” drop comes as Trump dismisses talk of his relationship with — and his administration’s handling of files tied to — the late convicted sex offender, calling a bipartisan push to release the so-called Epstein files in their entirety a “Democrat hoax.”
Pashcow and his attorney didn’t respond to the WSJ’s requests for comment, while a lawyer for the woman said she didn’t know the longtime Mar-a-Lago member and had “no knowledge of the letter,” with the lawyer referring to it as a “disgusting and deeply disturbing hoax.”

    TMZ
Epstein Birthday Book Jokes About Selling ‘Fully Depreciated” Woman To Trump
Congress has a copy of the birthday book Jeffrey Epstein allegedly received for his 50th birthday, and they’re releasing the entries … and there’s another reference to Donald Trump.

One letter, obtained by TMZ, is reportedly from businessman and longtime Mar-a-Lago member Joel Pashcow, and he jokes about Epstein selling a “fully depreciated” woman to Trump for $22,500.
The letter featured an image of Epstein, two other men and a woman holding an oversized check. The photo makes it look like Trump gave Epstein a posterboard-sized check for $22,500. The woman’s face in the photo is redacted and a woman’s name in the letter is also redacted.
A handwritten caption beneath the image reads, “Jeffrey showing early talents with money + women sells ‘fully depreciated’ [redacted] to Donald Trump for $22,500. Showed early ‘people skills’ too. Even though I handled the deal I didn’t get any of the money or the girl!”

  8. excerpt from https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/who-is-joel-pashcow-all-about-epstein-birthday-book-author-as-trump-denies-writing-lewd-birthday-note/

The book featured a compilation of letters from many of Epstein’s alleged friends, including Joel Paschcow and Donald J. Trump. The former’s birthday note features a cartoon version of the convicted child s*x offender.

The drawing in Joel Paschcow’s letter depicts Epstein in 1983, handing a lollipop and balloons to young girls. At the same time, a 2003 version of the deceased financier is receiving a massage from multiple women on a beach. An overhead plane appears to pass above them, while a phrase is written at the bottom that reads, “what a country.”

On the next page, Jeffrey Epstein is seen posing with two men and a woman, whose face has been redacted. They are holding a poster-sized check of $22,500, with a signature of DJ Trump. Joel Pashcow’s handwritten note reads:

“Jeffrey showing early talents with money + women sells ‘fully depreciated’ [redacted] to Donald Trump for $22,500. Showed early ‘people skills’ too. Even though I handled the deal I didn’t get any of the money or the girl!”

According to The New York Times, the lawyers of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, who handed over the birthday book to the Oversight Committee, redacted the woman’s name to hide the victim’s identity.

  9. Several letters that Mr. Trump wrote to New York City officials from 1987 through 2001 show him signing only his first name, and those signatures closely match the first-name only version of Mr. Trump’s signature on the Epstein note. One obvious similarity is that they all include a long tail following the final “d” of his first name. He has not typically included such a tail when signing with both his first and last names.

Trump Denies Epstein Birthday Drawing, but Signature Matches Personal Letters – The New York Times
The New York Times obtained copies of the documents several years ago from the official New York City archives of Mayors Rudolph W. Giuliani and Edward I. Koch. The letters were retrieved during research for Times articles and for research for a book written by the Times reporters Russ Buettner and Susanne Craig.

  10. Poobah, would love to but I’m tied up in a mediation this morning and I doubt my client or the mediator would appreciate me yapping about Dumbass. For what it’s worth, neither the lawyer I mentioned reaching out to or the judge I texted about that arrangement have responded, so I don’t have much much more to add than “Beats the shit out of me why Acosta would include in the plea deal turning the list of victims over to Epstein after he was sentenced beyond the potential restitution versus retribution considerations.”

  12. From WaPo re: Israel’s attack on Hamas leadership in Doha, Qatar:

Experts and former officials said it would have been difficult for Israel to carry out such an operation, in a country at the center of diplomatic talks between Israel, Hamas and mediators and with a large U.S. military presence, without coordination with Washington. Based on the circumstances, “100 percent, you have no doubt, that the U.S. gave the green light,” said Yaki Dayan, Israel’s former consul general in Los Angeles. “The U.S. has its biggest base in the Middle East in Qatar. If a plane is taking off in Israel, they know about it.”

Sounds like BennYahu really wants the war to continue, and if Yaki Dayan is correct, Dumbass wants that, too.

  14. I remember when a blue-dress-with-icky-stains was such a big deal to Republicans they couldn’t wait to impeach over it. Now, they say a bit of presidential pubic-hair-and-boobs handiwork is nothing to get worked up about.

This raid, which produced shocking public scenes of armored vehicles surrounding the plant and workers being taken out in shackles, came after South Korea agreed to invest $350 billion into the U.S. economy, as part of a deal to ease Trump’s crippling tariffs on goods from that country. Korean officials and the general Korean public are enraged over the raid, which has jeopardized one of the few agreements Trump has touted.

“So MAGA wanted tariffs to bring manufacturing back to the US. But when a company tries to open a plant here, MAGA undermines it. Once again you proved what an embarrassment your party is to our country,” one poster on Instagram said. “Imagine backing Trump’s ‘bring jobs back’ tariffs then cheering the ICE raid that nuked Georgia’s $4.3B Hyundai plant — 475 workers arrested, 40k jobs gone. That’s not America First, that’s economic suicide. You’re a walking contradiction and a clown,” said another person.

Meanwhile, a Korean business publication, CEO News, laid into Branum, writing, “Her justification of ‘protecting American jobs’ rings hollow when her actions sabotage Georgia’s long-term prosperity.”

Tori Branum, 47, who identifies herself as a Marine Corps veteran and firearms instructor on her campaign website and is running for Georgia’s 12th Congressional District, “said in social media posts and in interviews that she had reported the battery plant, which is under construction near Savannah, to ICE several months before officials conducted the largest work-site immigration raid in Department of Homeland Security history there.”

  21. Puba, finally got an answer from my buddy the judge who was a criminal defense attorney in both federal state court in West Virginia and now sits as a circuit judge. It is as follows:

The only context in which I would permit this as a prosecutor or a judge is in the context of the discovery stage prior to a plea OR in the context of a post-conviction procedure such as upon a petition for a writ of habeas corpus if, and only if, one of the grounds were that the defendant had not been provided that in pre-trial discovery AND defendant alleged ineffective assistance of counsel and that Defendant was not properly apprised of the evidence against them. AND in either case, the information would be provided under a strict protective order in that defendant would never possess such a list, would never be able to copy it in any way, and the original in possession only of the lawyer with no copies made, and affidavit of compliance from the lawyer and return of the original at the completion of the case. As to your specific question. NEVER. To do so is a violation of state and federal law, an ethics violation, etc. …

he went on to say something about the law as we knew it no longer exists making some reference to a certain Authoritarian/Dictatorial regime, spiced up with appropriate explitives. As you can probably tell, he ain’t a republican.

Pogo, I lack the rhetorical gifts ( as well as the legal knowledge) of your bud, but this is what yanks my chain, and the fact that maggers are too shortsighted and blind to see what hell they’ve done to us and to themselves. I daresay they want the world to end now so they don’t miss the fireworks.

2025 farm income projections paint grim picture for farmers trying to break even

According to the Economic Research Service for the USDA, crop receipts are expected to drop year over year.

With the drop in price projections, there is an increase in production costs for farmers, according to the USDA. Labor costs, livestock/poultry purchases, interest, property taxes and net rent are all on the rise. Where feed, fertilizer, seed, pesticides and fuel costs are staying close to 2024 levels, if not a slight decrease.

“With smaller operations, you have less of a safety net. You also may have fewer resources to try and attract or negotiate or get some of the better deals for things you can buy,” said Zwagerman. “…It’s reducing either the crops you grow, or maybe if you own land, maybe needing to lease it, foregoing improvements that might improve efficiency or help increase production, it is just not affordable to farms at that size.”

Zwagerman added that bankruptcies are spiking in the agricultural sector on a nationwide scale. Filings in the first quarter of 2025 are almost double the filings from the first quarter of 2024.

Nato scrambles jets as Russian drones threaten Polish airspace in Ukraine attack

Nato scrambled fighter jets early on Wednesday as Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with drones and missiles.

Four airports in Poland, including the country’s largest Chopin Airport in Warsaw, were closed due to “unplanned military activity related to ensuring state security,” according to notices posted to the US Federal Aviation Administration’s website.

A video clip showing what appeared to be a “missile being launched” at an orb in Yemen was shown for the first time on Tuesday during a Congressional hearing on “unidentified anomalous phenomena”. In the air, the sightings of these phenomena are commonly referred to as UFOs, or unidentified flying objects.
While being questioned, UAP journalist George Knapp said, “That’s a hellfire missile smacking into that UFO, and bouncing right off – and it kept going.”
The head of the Task Force hosting the hearing said its purpose was to deliver government transparency to the American public.

  29. Leaves little to the imagination, unlike the little imaginative blue dress

Another birthday book entry by Joel Pashcow, friend of Epstein and Trump, and member at Mar-a-Lago. In addition to the disgusting, sick image, people are also noting the background of it looks to be Mar-a-Lago.
