today’s tv opened up with pictures of thousands of cars completely stopped overnight on I-95 around DC
Hope they all had some good weed.
That man needs to be rewarded, weather like that calls for a hot chocolate with a good shot of 100 proof Rumplemints.
Now that I’m moved, I wouldn’t mind a good snow, We just got a dusting and then the cold. Worst of all worlds.Â
BB, Gale reminds me of a chow cross dog that was part of the family years back. She just loved it when it snowed. It was the world she was designed for.Â

Jack – you saw her entire time in the snow. I had to drag her out this morning so she would not hold it in until the thaw in a few days. She is a Brittany with an extra hound mixed in. She has no enjoyment in the water, or damp, or cold.
same here about chow type dogs & snow –Â billie bob (half golden half chow) even at almost 15 yo loves to throw herself at it in a good walloping wallow upside down making doggy snow angels.

my hot cocoa of late is made with french roast coffee and swiss miss instant dark chocolate mix – easy to make & bracing even without the booze.

Digging out sucks. You know you’ve done work after. Nothing like sweating in the cold. Had a great dog when I lived in NH that just loved romping in the snow I’d take her with me cross country skiing. Dog was in heaven. I had a wet ass
One of my neighbors just shot a video of the power lines doing an imitation of jump ropes. As the snow and ice melts and falls off the tree branches, the branches whip up and down whacking the power lines. At least today when the power goes out the house is in sunshine. Cannot share it is a private video.
If I’d gone to Jersey, and left here in time to strike Richmond at just the right time…….I woulda been in that line of cars.   I always curse myself when I don’t for not taking the more westerly I- 87 North I think it is, but if I’d wound up in that miasmatic morass of non-movage…..yeah there woulda been some prime curse-ology.
Used to be my hatred of Richmond DC Baltimore was matched only by my detestation of Florida, Georgia, and the West Virginia turnpike
Crap, now I gotta go look up what miasma means.
Traffic was blocked on the way home. It was a covid testing place that oozed out into the street, around the corner and down the block.

Is Johnson a Christian Scientist? (He appears to be a Lutheran.) Has he ever taken an aspirin? Ask Herr Johnson if God didn’t also create scientists and the means to create vaccines.  As the saying goes, the Lord helps those who help themselves. Can you imagine the hell scape if a variant as contagious as omicron were unleashed on a completely, unvaccinated populace?
