Trump yesterday:
“I didn’t lie”
Nixon (11/17/1973):
“I am not a crook”
Here’s how Bob Woodward ends his new book on the Trump presidency:
“When his performance as president is taken in its entirety, I can only reach one conclusion: Trump is the wrong man for the job.”

Nixonâs ghost
It will be a quarter of a million dead by the time January rolls around, yet there are still deniers claiming itâs around 9,000. Â Â
About 64 x more have died of tRUMPâs plague than died on 9/11. Â 192,000 v 2,966
Great cartoon.
At this stage I can think of only one thing that might salvage some part of Trump’s reputation. The good part is that it would actually be legal and totally in line with his responsibilities. Fire Dejoy and then issue one executive order:
Fortunately for the welfare of the nation, he is not smart enough to do this. Â
It wouldn’t help with the virus, but would definitely be a change of subject.
Itâs OK, letâs look at these claims that people with comorbidities who died and had Covid as well didnât die of Covid. By that logic, people who died that had Covid and comorbidities didnât die of anything. See, if you canât say they died of Covid you canât say they died of one of the comorbidities either. So apparently according to the deniers, 184,000 of those people actually probably didnât even die.
What a decent man does:
Biden has taken down all advertising and will not conduct any meetings, appearances, or press for the whole of 9/11. The day is for a memorial to those lost.
Well, thereâs one decent man running for president.
I have a close family member who is a SFB cult member. He also receives DHS updates on the pandemic as part of his briefings. He denies there is a pandemic at all. We are having a major response when we do not need it is the thinking of those who really know what is going on. According to him it is not as bad as the flu. But as seen with the various whistleblower filings the actual knowledge, whether it is Russians attacks or information from what used to be the CDC, it is changed to meet the hourly spewing of an unstable three year old. So there is no real information in the briefings.
NYTimes 9/11 schedule:
Pretty sure one of the cashiers at the grocery store i just went to has Covid. Â This early in the morning and people still openly defying mask mandates, possibly killing that cashier, and endangering everyone who went to the store that early TO AVOID THOSE SELFISH PEOPLE. Â
America sucks.
msnbc:
In an interview with MSNBCâs Ari Melber, âThe Art of the Dealâ co-author Tony Schwartz discusses the release of his new book âDealing with the Devil: My Mother, Trump and Me,â and the fallout Trump now faces after tapes reveal he downplayed the threat of COVID before it ever hit the U.S. Schwartz asserts Trump âis a prisoner of his liesâ and questions who heâll destroy first: himself or his country.
That time I wrecked my dadâs Oldsmobile…..I remember playing it down so as not to cause a panic.
…a beautiful morning just like it was 19 years, ago.
Hereâs to the old frontline workers, hereâs to the new frontline workersâď¸â¤ď¸đşđ¸
Bink
Yes, “America sucks”. I never realized it till COVID. We have so many selfish American’s. Bad enough dealing with Trump. I want them all to go back under their rocks.Â
iâve had it, good Sir Tony. Â One simple thing to protect others and they canât do it. Â By the way, every single person without a face covering was white- itâs always that way. Â THATâS white privilege for you- âeff you, you canât tell me what to do, iâm entitled…â.
Itâs embarrassing.
Ok, done venting, i gotta get to work. Thereâs your outrage, heddyđ
Â
Â
Oh, itâs much worse than that.
Â
Some kids like to build tree houses. Â Other kids get a kick out of tearing them down. Â Same as it ever was.
I am Remembasaurus. I remember everything every day.
Itâs on an eternal loop.
Although Americans are not welcome to visit in most countries around the globe, we can dream. Here is a shattered dream.
So much for Trump’s patriotism and respect and honor for first responders
The Trump administration has secretly siphoned nearly $4 million away from a program that tracks and treats FDNY firefighters and medics suffering from 9/11 related illnesses
You guys have it all wrong. trump is an extremely successful president; just ask bin salmon, putin and xi.
On September 11th, shortly after the Twin Towers collapsed, leaving thousands dead, Donald Trump boasted that his building was now the tallest building in downtown Manhattan (which wasn’t true). https://t.co/GT1wRZRSCj
The Empire State building and Chrysler Tower still loomed high over trump dump.
That is to say, they (and others) still looked down upon the trump dump.
Listening to Trump’s incriminating madness in Woodward tapes makes me even angrier Mueller did not seriously pursue live testimony under oath.
NIH Director Francis Collins says he was was âpretty puzzledâ and ârather disheartenedâ by Trumpâs crowded campaign rally in Michigan â at which few of the attendees could be seen wearing face masks and virtually none appeared to be social distancing https://t.co/WA3CDvElFw
Senate Republicans refusing aid to state and local government DEFUNDS THE POLICE. Pass it on.
Lincoln Project:
There has been a tradition where political ads are pulled down on 9/11. But never before have we had a president who attacked the men and women who rose to defend our country, calling them suckers and losers. This ad is necessary to remind Americans of the character of Trump.
more GOPers against D’ump
“In the name of God, I tell you, you’ve got to wake up and smell the coffee. This man is a great danger to our nation.”
This from the NY Post so maybe it’s bullshit but why would Biden’s people not follow Obama’s winning strategy whilst the Trump campaign sees value and does?

chicago sun times:
D’umbass had to be referring to Trump World Tower (Residential high rise at UN Plaza). At 861 feet it was the 6th tallest building in NYC in 2001 after WTC Towers were toppled. Trump tower on the other hand is 664 feet tall and is now the 96th tallest building in Manhattan. Sumbitch wouldn’t know how to tell the truth if his life depended on it.
BTW, the other buildings in Manhattan in 2001 taller than either of D’ump’s Towers were (from tallest down) Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, 70 Pine Street, 40 Wall Street and Citicorp Tower.
The orange bucket of lard has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Pulls Middle Eastern agreement out of his sizable ass today.
Peace Prize when there’s NO peace here at home???
He’s been pushing for the Peace Prize since 2016. He can’t stand it that Obama won it.
Pic looks like it might be from the Athens 2018 wildfire, which was horrific.
Medal of Honor ceremony today. Trump can only praise soldiers without calling them dirty names when reading a teleprompter.
While there are several other senators Iâd rather see gone, she remains a sentimental favorite for departure, stage right.
And I hope the door DOES hit her in the ass on her way out.
This looks fun. Maine U.S. Senate Debate LIVE at 7pm ET on C-SPAN
Meanwhile: Global warming denial something else Putin gets from Trump. It’s a blessing for Russia. Hurts competitors, opens sea routes and access to below-ground resources in Siberia.
Itâs an ill wind which blows no good.
And Iâm pretty sure I heard Steve Schmidt misuse âdecimateâ.
Trump’s niece Mary on @AriMelber MSNBC just now: “Donald is a very sick man. He’s never going to get better. He’s only going to get worse. And if it suits his purposes he will take this entire country down with him. So please vote carefully.”Â
Susan Collins debate on @cspan now.
Yet another pathetic Susan Collins dodge, when asked who she supports for president: “The people of Maine don’t need my advice on who to vote for President. I was on a bus tour, and not a single person asked me who they should vote for.” CSPAN debate on now.Â

Orange Julius is a blind and heartless monster…with tiny hands. Did you see those tiny hands on the lecture today?
so maybe it was the corruption scandal that was held over susan’s head to keep her in line during impeachment vote.  otherwise didn’t make sense given what she needed to do (stand up against D’ump) for reelection.
Centralia, PA is the town on perpetual fire. Â A few people still lived there last time i was there.
âOur Planetâ on Netflix is incredible, and is predicated on an emphasis of the effects of global warming.
Old Man: Thanks for info on Shelter Box. I’ll pass along the info to my nephew in Portland who’s organizing efforts to help with immigrant families in Phoenix OR who are now homeless due to fires.
Several cousins and a friend in California; they each have their own wildfire, although fires are now merging. Â Â
OM, but Dâump is an idiot – but you knew that.Â
Why Wales?
A conservative wakes up. Â (No, not THAT Joe Walsh.)
Joe Walsh
Â
@WalshFreedom
Â
I have 1.1 million Facebook followers. Almost all are Trump supporters. They used to be my supporters. I posted the updated Covid #âs 192,000 dead. Almost every response accused me of lying. That it was only like 10,000 dead. That CDC said only 6% REALLY died from Covid. So sad.
Ah, Wales…..home of the boxes
Silver buttons and the low carb dietâs got me into it again đbut even wore it when it wouldnât quite button…..quality is quality, button or no.
Good companyâs hard to find.
Kids now want their protest music, not yours- the protest has changed. Â Amazing music with a social consciousness being produced, these days.
So, Miley Cyrus is going to be what she wants to be regardless of what men say about her on the internet. Â Once again, kind of the point.
Probably something by BeyoncĂŠđ¤ˇââď¸
âMankindâ
Â
i rest mine, toođ
i like that song but itâs trash, as disposable as anything today.
If you didnât protect your hearing, youâre missing out on a lot of the appeal of contemporary music. On good equipment, some of it is sonically amazing.
Ok, going to delete a few of my posts above so as not to offend some of the more sensitive morning denizens.âď¸
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And donât criticize
What you canât understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly aginâ
Please get out of the new one if you canât lend your hand
For the times they are a-changinâ
…ainât a competition, good Sir.
Let me weigh in.Â
6 years ago, I came in here and ask for help. The racists in the neighborhood association had pulled the rug out from under our efforts to build a park. All because a small part of the grant was for work with Hispanics. They threw it all away because 1/5 of it would teach the Hispanics how to be better neighbors(block watch, how to work with the city, ect, Yeah I know Hispanics already know how to be good neighbors, in fact they are better at it than we are , I think) It was Trumpism before there was such a thing.
You all came through and it all kicked off what came to pass.
yesterday, I drove by the park to check on progress, They are installing the play ground. All I can say is OMG, I know I’m an emotional wreck right now but it was beautiful. It just floored me. Jordon our parks planner did a great job of taking Sherry’s and my visions then built on them and made them better. Not a straight line or a square corner in the place, fung shway (hillbilly dictionary spelling) out the ass.
Oh and a climbing dome that is so tall that I’m almost certain OSHA regs require a safety harness and tie off.
One thing I have pounded home is I didn’t want something that was “good enough for poor people” This is not, we may have the best playground in the city.
And it started here.Â
Thanks
Jack
…and if youâre alive, youâre not âthe pastâ, yet.
*chants*
Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack… (some fist-pumping, also)
ok everything you grew up with is good and everything after isnât. Â Hip takeđ
18th century German- Â âthis âMozartâ kid is garbage! Â âTwinkle, twinkleâ my ass!â
I think the best thing that demonstrated that it is time for boomers to sit down and let the young folks take over was the poor old guy who was pushed by the police and he went straight over backward. Did nothing to break his fall.. It wasn’t even that hard a shove. A younger man would have stepped back and continued giving the cop a ration of shit.
Jack
ah i got a good protest song for ya, then i really am out (under no illusion youâll listen to it)
â And better yet what the Hell is singing about?â
Â
if i have to tell you, you wouldnât understand
â And better yet what the Hell is ‘follow me’ about?â if i have to tell you, you wouldnât understand
âfollow meâ what, now? Â
Surely, you jest
Too cryptic for me, good Sir. Â Have a good day.
Sturg, hardly a picture perfect Saturday morning here in Columbia. How’s it where you’re at?
Thereâs a new thread if you didnât know
Jack, you and your Missus didn’t plan a playground, you planned an urban village. If I had been smarter at the time, I would have urged you and Sherry to pack your dream into a portfolio and drive up the street to Warren B’s castle asking that he ‘buy’ into your dream.
My project continues being Kumcho’s habitat. Over the last twenty years it has matured nicely.
Thank you Bink…despite checking several times, I completely missed it. C’est la dotage.
