  70. Hey Pogo! A lot of the people who defected to the Hamptons and Upstate came back a few weeks ago so it’s been busier. A lot of closed businesses, a lot of (mainly peaceful) protests and a whole lot of cops standing in front of the various Trump Towers. Unfortunately also a lot of people wandering around pushed to the mental health brink. It feels more akin to the post Reagan era I grew up in.  
    But it’s still New York. And it will carry on in its next new/old life for sure.

  80. The one thing this debate is doing for me is making me furious at the Democratic Party that we did not nominate one of the incredibly brilliant, capable, gifted, and capable of putting together complete sentences, women who run running ….. 
    Biden, while obviously a tad more capable than Mr. T in communicating a coherent thought, is not, in my opinion, doing a great job tonight.  That of course is in part because the moderator is not controlling the situation.

  175. I watched the first 20 min. then for my sanity’s sake I turned it off. Went just about as I expected with Trump able to lie faster than you can address the lies. Very few undecided anyway so there is no points for winning or losing. 
    Being over 65 I can vote absentee, I could under 65 too just lie about being out of town on election day. So that is my plan for tomorrow.

    Daniel Dale on CNN fact checking the debate says Trump was an avalanche of lies and Biden was relatively accurate. That kind of sums it up. How does that play in Pennsylvania?
