  1. granted, craig, but let’s not lose focus where it should be. please don’t be lured into running down the rabbit holes the trumpsters are distracting us with.

also blaming biden for trump’s violation of election laws is in the same category as blaming a prostitute for being raped & murdered instead of blaming the rapist murderer.

another way of looking at it is that the perp allegedly raped & attempted to murder the constitution while the hooker was indirectly skirting a part of it.

  2. the guardian:

Lawyers acting for the whistleblower at the centre of the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump’s attempts to solicit foreign help for his re-election campaign have warned that their client’s personal safety is in danger partly as a result of the president’s remarks.
Andrew Bakaj, the lead attorney for the unnamed intelligence official who sounded the alarm on Trump’s activities relating to Ukraine, expressed fears on Sunday that the whistleblower could be put “in harm’s way” were his or her identity made public. In a letter to the acting Director of National Intelligence, Joseph Maguire, Bakaj points directly at Trump’s aggressive statements that he said prompted “concerns for our client’s safety”.
The letter, first reported by 60 Minutes on CBS News, quotes Trump’s comments on Thursday to staff at the US mission to the UN in New York. In his remarks, made behind closed doors but reported by the New York Times, the US president made a thinly-veiled threat that showed disdain for the institutional protections afforded to whistleblowers under federal law.

    […]

On Sunday night, Trump returned to the subject on Twitter. “I deserve to meet my accuser, especially when this accuser, the so-called ‘Whistleblower’, represented a perfect conversation with a foreign leader in a totally inaccurate and fraudulent way,” he tweeted.
Trump was referring to the whistleblower’s account of the 25 July conversation between the US president and his opposite number in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy. A reconstructed transcript of the phone call shows that the whistleblower’s account was entirely accurate.
Trump was also criticised on Sunday night by a member of his own party for quoting on Twitter a comment from Pastor Robert Jeffress on Fox News, who said: “If the Democrats are successful in removing the President from office (which they will never be), it will cause a Civil War like fracture in this Nation from which our Country will never heal.”
Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger said the quote was “repugnant”.

  3. envisioning an “I am Spartacus” scene at the CIA with all the analysts and former analysts standing up for the whistleblower.

who knows, the real guy/gal might really be a composite of several guy/gal spooks using one courageous sacrificial lamb voice.

  4. plugging up the other distracting rabbit hole

    NY Times:

Thomas P. Bossert, who served as Mr. Trump’s first homeland security adviser, said he told the president there was no basis to the theory that Ukraine, not Russia, intervened in the 2016 election and did so on behalf of the Democrats. Speaking out for the first time, Mr. Bossert said he was “deeply disturbed” that Mr. Trump nonetheless tried to get Ukraine’s president to produce damaging information about Democrats.
Mr. Bossert’s comments, on the ABC program “This Week” and in a subsequent telephone interview, underscored the danger to the president as the House moves ahead with an inquiry into whether he abused his power for political gain. Other former aides to Mr. Trump said on Sunday that he refused to accept reassurances about Ukraine no matter how many times it was explained to him, instead subscribing to an unsubstantiated narrative that has now brought him to the brink of impeachment.

    […]

While serving Mr. Trump, Mr. Bossert repeatedly told him that his questions about the server were without merit, according to a former senior administration official. In fact, the main server for the committee was in the party’s headquarters in Washington, and was later displayed there, next to a file cabinet that was broken into by the Watergate burglars nearly a half-century ago.
The first time Mr. Bossert and other aides refuted the server theory came before the inauguration when intelligence agency directors briefed him on Russia’s election interference operation. Mr. Trump may not have absorbed it because he was thrown off guard when told about a Democratic-financed dossier that included unproven allegations about his ties to Russia.
Shortly before Valentine’s Day in 2017, Mr. Bossert brought in Mike Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, to brief Mr. Trump not only on the summary about the conclusion that it was Russia, but with the technical mechanics that led to the conclusion. At that point, Trump appeared to register that it was Russia. But periodically after that, he would say at rallies that he wondered about the server. Mr. Bossert would not re-educate him each time.
Another former senior official said it was a constant struggle to convince Mr. Trump that Russia, not Ukraine, had interfered in the election. The president would accept it after speaking with his more grounded aides, this official said, but then revert to believing it was a plot by Democrats or Ukrainians or others after speaking with associates outside the administration like Mr. Giuliani.

    […]

“In fairness, I don’t know that it was Rudy Giuliani that put that conspiracy theory into the president’s head,” he said. “I know somebody did and I was under the impression it was Mayor Giuliani. If Mayor Giuliani wasn’t promoting the D.N.C. server conspiracy theory, then I apologize.”
But in his television interview, Mr. Bossert made clear how serious the issue was, suggesting it could end Mr. Trump’s presidency. “The D.N.C. server and that conspiracy theory has got to go; they have to stop with that,” he said. He noted that the president “has not gotten his pound of flesh yet” from the investigation into his own ties to Russia. “But George, if he continues to focus on that white whale, it’s going to bring him down.”

  5. meanwhile raw story throws some chum in the water:

A panel discussion on the increasing fallout over Donald Trump’s Ukraine phone-call scandal led an MSNBC panel to conclude that former Trump White House insider John Bolton would likely work behind the scenes to get Republicans to turn on the president now that he is damaged goods.
Speaking with “AM Joy” host Joy Reid, journalist Gabriel Sherman noted Bolton has longtime ties to the GOP leadership who may be more sympathetic to his point of view than they are to Donald Trump’s.
“He’s a person with deep ties to the senior leadership across the Republican Party and he’s notoriously a foreign policy hawk,” Sherman explained. “The idea that Donald Trump was trading on Ukraine security to help his cause would be anathema to a person like John Bolton.”

“He has no love for this president and behind the scenes, I am certain that he is having conversations to push the Republican Party to break with Donald Trump,” he added.

“If someone’s going to talk it is probably going to be him,” host Reid added.

Panelist Jonathan Capehart jumped into to note, “All of this began happening when John Bolton walked out,” in reference to the leak of the whistle-blower complaint.

  6. Agree that we shouldn’t be diving down the whataboutism rabbit hole of the Biden charges.  Setting that aside, this sort of thing is a continuing problem for Biden in all his campaigns.  As Obama phrased it, “Joe says things”.  His heart and conscience may be in the right place, but it has been the job of others to run behind him with the broom and dust pan of “what he meant to say was”.   If loses the support of black women that make up a huge chunk of his current poll numbers, it could very well stand in the way of the nomination.  At that point, the question would be where would they go.  Most likely beneficiaries:  Harris, Booker, or Warren.

  7. The thumbs on the scale:

TV news mentions (last 7 days)

    Joe Biden – 4,854

    Bernie Sanders – 534

    Elizabeth Warren – 1,222

    Kamala Harris – 189

    Pete Buttigieg – 158

    Beto O’Rourke – 144

    Cory Booker – 257

    Amy Klobuchar – 40

    Andrew Yang – 69

    Julian Castro – 28

  8. OK, it is Al Frankin , Hillary Clinton, (fill in the blank)all over again.
    Ain’t nothin like a leftist Democrat……
    Jack

  9. If it wasn’t Biden son, It would be Pocahontas or some other nonsense on your favorite candidate.  All of it shouted to the roof tops using modern media to make a big *scandal* out of nothing. Instead of wringing your hands about what might have been, learn to deal with it.
First an attack by the Trump machine on any Democrat is an attack on all Democrats.  Your post  today aids Trump. But more important, it doesn’t forward the agenda that should be on all of our minds: defeating every Trump supporting Republican running for office, any where. The Trump Machine is running a campaign that is total lies with the objective of convincing enough voters that there is no difference  between the parties.
The Democrats don’t need to answer for Hunter Biden’s failures. That is not the issue. So today, instead of wringing your hands about Hunter Biden, your automatic response should have been about the outrageous lie that the Trump machine is spreading. Even after it has been proven false they have so little morals that they keep repeating it, believing that the American people are so dumb as to take the bait.
Just keep repeating, “Trump lies because he believes you are that stupid”
    Jack

  10. interesting tactic reported by the hill:

Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer is asking Americans to “Talk to Trump” in a new initiative that will feature submitted videos in ads to air on “Fox and Friends.”

“Trump should know how he’s failed you as president — whether that’s on health care, a living wage, gun violence, climate change, or something else entirely,” Steyer’s campaign to supporters on Saturday. “It’s time Trump heard directly from the many, many people around the country who are hurting and frustrated because of his corrupt and cruel administration.”

Participants can record a 25-second video and upload or email it to the Steyer campaign.

The ad campaign will run in the days leading up to the October Democratic Debate, the campaign said.

  11. I triple second Jack’s tirade.

And what’s this shit about “letting his son” do a job.  Hunter Biden is a grown man…  if he needs his dad’s “permission” to do anything, he’s a pussy and Joe should be ashamed of himself for raising that.

  12. My favorite meme I’ve seen on Facebook today:

Trump’s daughter works at the WH
Her husband works at the WH
Rudy’s son works at the WH
Barr’s son in law works at the WH
    Barr’s daughter works at Treasury
    Trump’s sons do foreign business
His daughter is getting Chinese patents and Saudi grants
But sure, let’s talk about Biden

  13. “Joe Biden letting his son go to work for the Ukrainians was a huge mistake”
Kinda like if my refused to ‘let’ me work for the defense. That ski don’t ski.

  14. Renee’s list bears repeating :
Trump’s daughter works at the WH
Her husband works at the WH
Rudy’s son works at the WH
Barr’s son in law works at the WH
    Barr’s daughter works at Treasury
    Trump’s sons do foreign business
His daughter is getting Chinese patents and Saudi grants
But sure, let’s talk about Biden

  15. Let’s see, it’s 90-deg outside; what to do? I’ve cut the grass, washed the car, trimmed the maple and dog wood trees—wait, I bet there are a few branches on the flowering cherry that need a snip or two. I’ll be back in an hour. (In the two minutes it took to write this the temperature lapped at 91. I bet it will be 93 by the time I’m through!)

  16. Hunter had no Ukrainian experience or energy industry background, sure looks like he only got the job because of who his father is. Just looks bad. No equivalency to what Trump did, shouldn’t be compared but shouldn’t be ignored or excused.

  17. Why do you troll your own forum, CC?

Hey, Trump wants to meet his accuser.  He must understand it would be as a defendant.

  18. Also, my point about Stephen Miller’s terrifyingly fascist quote on FauxNews yesterday is that he attempted to give legitimacy to investigating anyone for anything at any time for no good reason.  It should scare the shit out of you that an official of the Presidential administration would say something that ominous, but the neat trick is that that knife cuts both ways- let’s talk about Beavis + Butthead (Eric and Donny the Lesser, ofc), Princess Ivanka, MBS’s buddy Jared, and any other familial crooks i’m leaving out.  Go!

  19. Flatus I did that honey do yard and garden work yesterday. It was 87 when I wrapped it up. Today it’s headed toward 90 with 2 more days like it tomorrow and Wednesday. Then fall looks like it is coming.

  20. “sure looks like he only got the job because of who his father is.”
Yes and what did it get them?
It has been proven that they got less than nothing as Biden pushed to have them and others investigated for corruption.
As I said you are doing the Al franken thing again. What is important isn’t what Hunter Biden did. What is important is the lies that the Trump machine is spreading about it. They have been disproven yet they continue to go on TV and repeat them.
    Jack

  21. It got Hunter $50k a month. Don’t have to believe Trump/Rudy lies about this story to see that was just wrong, especially when his Dad was the administration point man for Ukraine.

  22. As to Steve Miller
Anybody who goes on in front or behind him (or even to his face)
“anybody who locks kids up in cages doesn’t have the moral authority to speak about anything.”
Anything he says or does is morally suspect.
It is time to stop thinking like a kindergarden liberal and start punching.
Focus on their morality (not sex) because that is where the suburban vote lives. They are too immoral to be trusted. If you run on that then you get the suburbs and the senate. Maybe even some state legislatures.
    Jack
    Jack

  23. Oooh, is this you trying to help Warren?  Ya know, she may not be the most electable candidate, and you may be just undermining the eventual nominee.  An experience not wholly-unfamiliar to you, i’d imagine.

  24. What ever Craig, I’m really tired of this liberal loser crap. Biden is not responsible for the actions of his boy especially when he did him no favors.
But if the lefties want to use this to get their favorite the nomination then get used to 4 more years of senile tweeting.
Looks like it is time to stuff some more money in the old mattress and see if I live long enough to ride this one out.
    Jack

  25. Craig, that’s why I’ll vote for Biden if and only if he is our party’s nominee. Despite her age, Liz seems most likely to get my vote. You understand SC politics. The primary will swing in response to the AA vote. Unless something dramatic happens, that means Biden.

  26. OK  I hear the chant,  “4 more years”
At that I’m out of here, got stuff that has to be done today and unfortunately in this August heat.
    Jack

  27. Hunter Biden is the losest of anything rollin around the deck
He had an affiar with his dead brother’s wife whilestill married
I doubt his fathercan keep him from doing anything

  28. Craig…  you lost a lot of good people on this blog in 2016….
looks like you’re set to do it again.

  29. There is nothing wrong with use of the SCI computer system for his memos. Note the classifications on them: SECRET//ORCON//NOFORN. The reason for it being, on that system the ORCON which means that the Originator “OR” (Trump) Controls “CON” distribution, dissemination, disposal, everything to do with the document access. It should also have had a cover sheet reflecting the name of every individual who handled it.
I have seen ORCON documents that were handled within Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) channels because that was the sensible way to handle them. It does not mean that everybody with an SCI clearance would see them; it means that the originator’s mandated controls would be applied.
In this instance, it is my opinion that the system failed to protect that document because of human frailties.

  30. I don’t get the defense of this stinky Hunter Ukraine deal. Nowhere near the criminality of Trump but why not just acknowledge it was a dumb swampy move for Hunter to do that?

  31. Also  even though then appearance of it might look bad important to rememberboth Biden’s have been CLEARED of any wrong doing

  32. I’m all for Warren, and I still object to Joe Biden being held responsible for the actions of a grown son who is not in Joe’s employ.
Similarly, I don’t hold trump responsible for his younger (adult) daughter’s actions, as she doesn’t work for him.

  33. Only the media has cleared them of wrongdoing, which I accept. But no congressional or judicial investigation was ever done. Look, I love Uncle Joe but this was incredibly stupid.

  34. there’s a reason prosecutors don’t prosecute everyone who allegedly commits a crime in their district.   so little time, so little staff and so few judges are only part of that reason for selective prosecution.  the severity of the crime is preeminent. danger to society and pressing need to remove the alleged perp also weighs in.

let’s not waste time, people and resources on misdemeanors when capitol (pun intended) felonies are destroying our country.

there’s plenty of time after the house investigates, votes on impeachment & the senate does its thing to ponder our own navels searching for sinful lent.

  35. 1. Does Hunter even have a role in the Biden campaign ?
    2. Warren should come to Joe’s defense. It’s the right thing to do.

  36. craig, okay okay so he was stupid. so was hillary. so was al franken and even kristen gillibrand for pointing out al’s stupidity.  but why should that stand in the way of or taking the focus off what’s more important:  holding the commander in chief of stupid accountable?    these tangents and red herrings are obstructing justice.

  37. Warren can’t maintain her anti-corruption message and defend a child of a vice president enriching himself with a foreign company in a country his father was negotiating with. That would be hypocritical. Best she tries to avoid it but she will be asked that question.

  38. X=R, I think she did this weekend when asked about biden and Ukraine she emphatically said something along the lines of “this is about Trump” and deflected away from any hint of disparagement about joe

  39. When a reporter asked Warren whether her ethics plan would allow her vice president’s son or daughter to serve on the board of a foreign company, but without directly referencing the Bidens, Warren responded “no” before quickly walking back her assertion.

“I don’t know. I mean, I’d have to go back and look at the details.”

  40. craig, so now are you going to fault lizzie for thinking twice about whether she would have the right/authority to do such a thing?

purity will again be the reason dems lose the next election

  41. I’m just mad at the Bidens for putting Liz and the Dems and their supporters in this situation. We look hypocritical if we defend it. Same thing as Al Franken. They should have known better.

  42. Better question. Will you allow your VP to continue to serve if a member of his immediate family marries a Crimean and moves to that territory?

  43. I guess Lindsay Graham has decided to go down with the Trump ship—- maybe SFB promised him a job as a caddy

  44. SFB’s utterances (and Truly Juliannie is included in this) have about as much credence as the child sex ring under the pizza parlourI don’t support Joe Biden but really……plenty of other stuff to complain about as opposed to this where he did nothing

  45. A reader’s review of The Swamp
    Andrew
Jan 16, 2018 Andrew rated it really liked it
    Shelves: politics

Bolling starts this book off with a jawing account of Ted Kennedy fleeing a car accident. The story is a bit surreal especially given that Senator Kennedy never faced Justice for his lies. The book jumps around in history from there with accounts of corruption at all levels of the government. Corruption on the right and left is rampant. Bolling with his conservative background focuses more on the left but the corruption definitely runs on both sides of the aisle. Toward the end of the book, Bolling places hope in Trump to drain the swamp. This hope is a bit like Obama’s hope and change. The idea sounds good but in practice it just doesn’t add up. I would have enjoyed this book more without the speculative assertions about Trump’s claims to drain the swamp. Bolling is using the “swamp draining” rhetoric to sell books but it also makes his arguments fall short of the mark. Read this book to learn more about corruption, but ignore the Trump political rhetoric. I look forward to more books by Bolling.”

  46. “Will you allow your VP to continue to serve if a member of his immediate family marries a Crimean and moves to that territory?”
” When a reporter asked Warren whether her ethics plan would allow her vice president’s son or daughter to serve on the board of a foreign company . . . .”
Translation : “Shall your ethics plan put an end to Article I or the First Amendment of the US Constitution ?

  47. It hasn’t been ignored  it has been investigated and no wrong doing was found
you are falling into the Trump Trap

  48. Goodness Craig, you are getting all sorts of revolt among the troops.  LOL

Gillibrand’s candidacy died because of leading the judge and jury kangaroo court hang ’em high campaign against Franken.

Too many military families knew about the shenanigans of USO entertainment for the troops as well as watching the principal accuser having an act in the show where she practically treated another male performer as a tree to rub up against and climb.  One staged photo which could have well been a “sleeping” act on her part plus obvious GOP connections diminised those charges.  Unlike the Weingarten scandal no one came forward with charges of undress, exposure, or rape.   Franken resigned to protect the party and there are still those asking him to run again.

  49. All of the nefarious, morally-bankrupt Republicans appreciate the concessions you’ve made on behalf of all Democrats, Mr. C, and promise to play nice going forward.  I’m sure they’re grateful to you for carrying their water.

  50. Nepotism is a way of life among the high and mighty.  The wealthy and important marry and produce the wealthy and important.  The only difference here and a few other democratic countries is that given the right amount of education, skills, opportunity, and friends is that someone can rise to be counted among the high and mighty.

If they keep their noses clean and perform enough noblesse oblige, they can keep their respect and status (i.e. Chelsea Clinton).  If they commit questionable acts for personal greed without contributing back to society (ie. the Trumps) then they can lose respect and status.

So Hunter Biden traded his name for a high paying position.  As far as anyone can tell, none of his acts were illegal.  For the time being, he is off the hook except that he may have tanked his father’s campaign.

  51. If I were a Dem candidate for prez, I’d demand that trump stay in the race (and in the country) until Jan 21, 2021.

If I were a bonified B!LL!ONA!RE Dem, I’d run for prez on the r!pper t!cket, and demand that ALL the trumps resign and turn themselves in.

  52. Obviously his son was in a bad place and he can attribute it to that but they cannot continue attacking the media for covering this story. Joe needs to fess up this was a bad move while justifiably claiming nothing wrong was done.

  53. “Joe needs to fess up this was a bad move while justifiably claiming nothing wrong was done.“-CC

    What does that even mean?

  54. When i saw Mnuchin on some Sunday show after the scandal broke saying “Biden, Biden, Biden…” over and over like an automaton,  i wondered who would be stupid enough to fall for Republican misdirection.  Now, i know!

  55. Let his son or stop his son?
Craig it is just like Warrens statement.  Her ethics reform can’t stop some one not associated with the government from doing anything. She did a knee jerk answer that was stupid the minute she said it. And she knew it. Her ethics reform couldn’t stop anybody’s adult son from doing anything.
Biden is not accountable for his son’s actions.
    Jack

  56. Congrats, Craig….  you have KGC defending Biden and I’m now seriously considering voting for him in the NH primary.  After all…. if Trump takes him that seriously…  why shouldn’t I.

  57. “What it means, Bink, is Joe should never have let his son do this“

Lol, how was he supposed to not “let” him, ground him without dinner?  Bizarre logic, good Sir.

By the way, what you’re doing right now was the end-goal of Guiliani and Trump’s Ukraine gambit- to shift the focus and undermine a rival.

  58. I think Biden’s point is that they are responsible for their actions. If you know someone is spreading deliberate miss information and you purposely give them a platform  then you are equally culpable. The sin is on you as well as the liar.
Biden is just following an old tradition in Basketball called “working the refs”
With Trump and 2016 the media still has a lot to answer for.  and now they are at it again.
    Jack

  59. Shifting focus only happens if we pretend Bidens did nothing wrong, profiting from a foreign source in the VP’s wheel house. Acknowledge it and move on, with proportion, so we can legitimately get back to Trump’s crimes.

  60. The Biden family had been through mortal tragedy upon mortal tragedy. That Hunter got a high paying job in a (hopefully) safe place overseas away from from all the politics clouding Foggy Bottom was a reason for celebration and Bon Voyages.

  61. Disagree Flatus. That job came his way only because his Dad was VP in charge of Ukraine relations. Doesn’t get swampier than that. Why can’t we just acknowledge that and move on?

  62. I see we are all now in the factless and feckless territory
You have to go farther back to have stoppedHunter Biden from this job
He worked as a lobbyist  — where was all the talk earlier when he worked for MBNA ?

  63. Are you having Lindsey Graham (R-SC) over for dinner, or something?

It really is only you and Republicans focusing on Biden after Trump leveraged the U.S. Military against a potential NATO ally with the aim of undermining a domestic political rival, and public servant in good-standing, mind you.

Oh, and Our National Embarrassment threw in a few not-so veiled threats of violence against other public servants, to boot. But let’s make sure we acknowledge Biden took a job in Ukraine.

  64. Craig

If a network knows that a spokesperson for any candidate will based on previous appearances come on air and lie to the public, why should they book that person to do more of the same.  It is one thing to present a side of an issue; just look at us nattering today.  It is another to have a set of already proven false talking points, repeated rapidly so no one can get in a word edgewise, while giving no opportunity for any other viewpoint.  These days I wouldn’t book any of those who appeared on the Sunday shows (all of the shows) who baldfaced lied.  That is not news.

  65. I just don’t think our credibility is enhanced by pretending our possible nominee’s son enriched himself in this way. Not a biggie in the long run, but at least acknowledge it was wrong.

  66. Gee he also had an affair with his dead brother’s wife — which do you think is going to have a bigger impact?

  67. It might behoove you to wise-up before crunch-time, good Sir.  The trickery has just begun.  Please, don’t fall for it all between now and next November- it’s just sad.

  68. I don’t think either Biden broke any laws in Ukraine or otherwise.  All of the reporting says that it true.
You cannot seriously think admitting to some imagined wrong would be the end of itl

  69. should Hiliary Clinton admit she had a server in Ukraine from which she tried to hack the elections in her favor?
     same thing

  70. KGC

I just finally blocked a 4 Chan Crowdsource person about Hillary’s emails server in the Ukraine.  He was reasonably (seeming) sane proponent of right wing positions until he blew up with that one.  The pizza hut in the basement crowd are getting screwier by the second.

  71. craig, hunter should be the one to apologize for using his dad’s position to get the job.  in public he should apologize to his dad for all misbehavior & poor judgment that possibly besmirched his dad’s and his own reputation.

but that’s up to hunter, not us to require it in order for us to feel good about voting against trump.

btw, how did jimmy handle the fallout over billy?

  72. 1. How fucking old does a man have to be to achieve independence from his parent’s orders ?
    2. Obviously Joe has a less than admirable kid. So, should he have strangled the brat in his cradle before all the trouble started ?
    3. putin claims executive privilege on the phone calls he had with his agent trump. I think this is more important than Hunter Biden making $600k/year as a Ukrainian exec, probably as a salesman, lobbyist, or as an assistant in such business, in the US and Europe. Probably. Maybe. Mrs bob dole used to do the same kind of thing (Where is the outrage ???), and apparently Sec’y Ms Chao still does. So why is Hunter Biden a bigger deal than putin demanding that we uphold the sanctity of his phone calls with his puppet ?

  73. Ms Jamie,
Ya, it seems like every rightwinger has been drafted into an trump e-army that carpet bombs shitstorms of politi-fecal material around the world.
I’ve gotten 30 Biden-crazed messages from a guy who only sent occasional emails before the whistleblower story exploded.
    BCB = Biden-crazed baloney.

  74. There are so many people one could parrot-  Ghandi, Jesus, Maya Angelou, JFK, Marcus Aurelius, Jefferson, Mark Twain, Elanor Roosevelt, to name a few- but you picked Jim Jordan.🙄

  75. Ok, well, get it out of your system.  “We” need you working for the good guys going forward, not being a pawn of the Party That Puts Kids in Cages to Punish Their Parents.

    Goodnight.

  76. Articulate Hunter’s “swampiness”, if you’re bored, while i sleep.  Try not to say anything Jim Jordan said on “Jake Tapper” yesterday, as a challenge.   Don’t feel obligated.

    ✌️

  77. Renee, I hope your observation about good people leaving is wrong.
OK, joe’s son fucked up. My dad (engineer) thought I did too when I went through PolySci through English through Student Personnel Administration through Counselor Education to Law. WTF was I thinking?  He had no control over my decisions. Ok, he wasn’t VP and I did nothing because he was assistant plant super in a steel mill (other than work there summers and holidays). Some of the steelworkers called me LV’s kid, but when I was pushing scale from the pits the glamour didn’t show through. And something bears repeating:

Trump’s daughter works at the WH
Her husband works at the WHRudy’s son works at the WHBarr’s son in law works at the WHBarr’s daughter works at TreasuryTrump’s sons do foreign businessHis daughter is getting Chinese patents and Saudi grantsBut sure, let’s talk about Biden

Thanks, RR.  I still am NOT planning to concede that our fight is against Joe and Hunter, or Lizzie or Kamala. (I’ll make an exception for Bernie! But he’s not a Democrat, so fuck him).  It is against SFB. Please fucking focus on that instead of SFB’s goddam “Oh look, a Squirrel” FUCKING TWEETS.

  78. where’s Obama in all this dumping on joe?  he let (or ordered)  his veep (whose son was on a company board of that country) to handle a certain situation that the international community wanted to be handled a certain way.  unless joe came up with the idea himself and insisted on it against his wishes , it’s barak’s responsibility to account for letting/approving joe do it.

  79. Campaign Points
