    I’d like to join you all again so I’m going to take a few days and read all the posts & comments from the past couple of weeks.  There’s only so much doom scrolling one can do on Twitter without running screaming from the room. We are having an election in 2 weeks’ time and it’s getting a little hot under the collar.  Alana Harkin, the Exec Producer of Sam Bee’s show, is Canadian and she tweeted a photo of our idiot protesters endangering our PM and said, “Oh look, it’s Make America Great Again, Canadian Edition,” and she’s not wrong.  They’re all Qanon, low-info incels and they’re pretty scary.  I hope we survive intact after the election. 
    I’ve missed you all.

    Jimmy returns to the show after his summer off and addresses the many comments of concern for his well-being, being apart from Guillermo, our new set, the number of new COVID cases being up 300% from a year ago, people taking livestock medicine to fight the Coronavirus and internet lunatic Alex Jones giving it a big endorsement, Dr. Jill Biden returning to the classroom, Jeff Bezos investing in a company that intends to reverse the human aging process, and Jimmy thanks the many talented people that filled in for him this summer and shares a video of their fondest memories from hosting.

    so it just may be another one of those scams we’ve grown to know and loathe; however, i’d advise folks think again about travel anywhere near DC on the 18th.

  7. Holy schitte, Poobah. That young man is incredible. Percussive style guitar is very demanding, particularly on an acoustic. 
    Good to see Tylenol retuning. Nice to get the Canadian perspective again, eh? 
    Good also to see the return of the late night comics. Jimmy is one of the best. Trevor re-engages next week.

    I saw this guitarist perform on America’s Got Talent a few yrs ago.  He was amazing then and he’s amazing now.

    Agree about doom-scrolling: i’ve also had enough.  One must stay informed to be a responsible citizen, so what’s the balance? 🤔

  26. Hello!  Nice to see everyone!
    A little about Canadian elections:  there are four parties in this country that reasonable people would say are progressive — the Liberals, the New Democrats, the Green Party and the Bloc Quebecois – who are progressive but are Quebec-centric. There are two parties that are on the right.  The Conservative Party of Canada and the People’s Party of Canada — the right wing and the right wing nut job parties, respectively.  The right wing nutjob party are the ones who are organizing those horrible protests, but the right wing party is pretty bad — all the party platform stuff that makes 70% if this country cringe. So the problem is the progressive vote is spread over far too many parties. I’m hoping that the right wing nut job party peels off enough support from the conservatives in enough voting districts that the Liberals will win — a decisive win.  
    This is debate week so by the end of the week the polls will settle a bit depending on perceived knock-out punches, etc.  
    In the meantime, I sip my tea and make pithy remarks on social media. 
    I must say, I’m really enjoying Jen Psaki’s daily bitch-slapping on that Doosy Jr fella.  Now that’s fun!
