    I almost always have peace of mind after I have given someone a piece of my mind. That’s why I love the Trail.?

  4. Thank you Patd.  I hope everyone will drop by today.

    The part I love most about that article is the song “Prayer” from Come From Away.  Great soundtrack, history lesson re the stranded planes of 9/11, and message of universal possibilities.

Beautiful Jace.  This once a year project happens ever Nov 4 and this is year eleven.  By the end of the day there will be peace globes on every continent (I think we are still getting Antarctica).  Mimi Lennox  is a force of nature and many of the people who take part have great stories in the own right.

    Brazile has been making a lot of news in recent days as she promotes her new memoir, but many of her revelations appear to be overblown, like the recent one in which she claims the Democratic primary was rigged in favor of Clinton and against Bernie Sanders.

    However, a new memo published by NBC News revealed that the so-called agreement between Clinton and the DNC applied only to the general election campaign, not the primary.

    The latest news that Brazile briefly considered nixing the Clinton-Kaine ticket is likely the same type of overhyped gossip being floated as a way to make headlines and drive up book sales.

    But, hey, a Biden-Booker ticket may not be such a bad idea in 2020.

  12. Okay, the five watches are all done. Now on to the clocks. Ah, they’re done. Didn’t bother with the ones on the thermostat or yard sprinkler and I’ll get the car sometime or other. I changed all the smoke detectors for the second time earlier this spring, so that’s taken care of; the book says a service life of ten years.

    this quote from Wapo’s piece on Brazile’s book says everything imo.

    Brazile writes with particular disdain about Brandon Davis, a Mook protege who worked as a liaison between the DNC and the Clinton campaign. She describes him as a spy, saying he treated her like “a crazy, senile old auntie and couldn’t wait to tell all his friends the nutty things she said.”

    Ya know there comes a time to retire, that goes for Joe, Bernie, and HRC too.

  17. Ah, another day or two of mixed times, the critters on one clock, my life on another.  At least by the end of the week we will be on the same one again.

    Finished building a Linux computer, it is always a burr in the drawers getting the Wi-Fi to work.  But, the basic machine is now functioning. It has been a few years since I used one, but like riding a tricycle, all the parts eventually fall into place.

    Today is one of the television off and no news days.  I want to enjoy the day.

    A second neighbor told local news station WNKY-TV that Paul was mowing his lawn around 3 p.m. when Boucher assaulted him. The neighbor said Paul’s and Boucher’s homes share a corner adjacent to their homes and they have been embroiled in an ongoing feud.
